“The most amazing Ice cream cakes!! They taste great and my brother was very happy when he got his. While we were getting it though the lady that took our order seemed a bit short tempered. Right when we walked in she said "do NOT touch the cakes, I will do it for you" while we were just about halfway through the door. It wasn't all bad though because we got our great cake!“

It's very clean, offers board games to play (great idea!). However, it's not a cozy environment for me so we always get takeout.“
“This spot is super cute. If I lived in Warren or surrounding area - I would want to be doing all the things here. It's small, but doesn't feel it. The bar is great - excellent selection. I watched the owner making a few tests last night (I'm assuming by the taste testing and the picture taking) and I almost ordered whatever it was (old fashioned I believe) because it looked good (yea I know it's not much to it) and carefully crafted. I got a hot toddy - and honestly I wish I had just asked for it with water and not the ginger tea - but otherwise good. And I'm always happy to be able to get a hot toddy on a cold rainy or snowy night. Seeing "hot drinks" was an exciting moment when I walked in. The poetry open mic had such a great turnout. And the comedy show I went to pre Covid was also solid. Worth the drive from Providence for sure. I'm looking forward to going back! There was a free play arcade game by the bathroom. That was fun.“
“Just wanted to say that I was really pleased with the service at the County St location today! My son has some food allergies, and the young lady went straight to wash her hands, change gloves, and used a different spoon to get his ice cream. I just don’t always have such a good experience other places when allergies are mentioned, and I was really happy to see a young girl be so cautious while handling my sons ice cream.“
“Not many Starbucks in the Rhode Island and Connecticut areas. Lotsa Dunkin Donuts. Then, we saw these little hole in the wall shops called, Sip ‘n Dip. My curiosity got the best of me. I had to try this mom and pop lookin’ place. We tried the one on the bay, on the way to Colt State Park.Nice warm New England welcome from the young lady who was perspiring in the heat. We ordered a hot coffee and and iced coffee. She recommended the cinnamon twist. We honored her recommendation. It was nice and doughy crispy. Not a fancy place, but good ole service.“

“The macarons here are the best I’ve ever had in the States. The shop is cute and the folks that work there are nice and helpful. They offer more than just macarons- the cakes, brownies, sweet treats, ice cream etc are all delicious!!! My friends and I come here for every single birthday, wedding, anniversary etc. love it!“

“Not many yogurt city's in my area. This place needs more then just a person at the counter sitting on their phone.... Welcome people when they come in, recommend things to them. Bring back the little papers I've seen before with recommended yogurts and toppings to make like s'mores! “Another satisfying visit. Blueberry and pistachio muffins were moist and the blueberry had plenty of blueberries throughout. Cinnamon twist pastry thing was good, especially after tossing it on the microwave for a few seconds. Cupcake way too sweet for my liking, but my child is a huge fan! Reasonably priced considering the quality and taste. Staff very friendly and patient with my indecisiveness. Coziest little establishment.“
“I was here on 08/01/22 picking up a door dash , so while I cannot comment on the quality of the food I am here to leave a rave review of the service I witnessed from the man behind the counter with dark glasses and no name tags he was very busy with pickup and instore orders and looked to be working alone and I witnessed him get treated like garbage by an inpatient disgruntled customer and this man handled it so gracefully and still treated the man with respect and kept it pushing ! A class act ! His name I later found out was Jose ! Thank you Jose !“

“I can't say I've ever eaten any food at Frates so please take this review as a review of the ice cream and setting only. As I am new to the area, this was my first visit to Frates and it was charming in a way that walk-up New England ice cream shops are. There is an Elvis statue inside and fun music playing. The ice cream is well-priced and deeee-licious! I got an M&M Nor'easter which was great. The ice cream is very creamy and the amount of M&Ms was perfect. Others in my party got ice cream cones, sundaes, and a cup of ice cream. Not a single complaint and not a drop of ice cream left before we headed home. Since it is still chilly out there is a nice heated tent area with tables to sit and enjoy. As the weather warms I imagine sitting outside with that ice cream dripping will bring the nostalgia of long past summer days in New England come rushing back. I can't wait to return back to Frates again and again! (And next time take pics before we gobble our ice cream up! )“
“I have never been, but I intend to. They have a new contact number and I somehow came into circulation of their old one in which I get numerous calls a day about so I'm thinking it's worth the try. But they did manage to post a new number on their Facebook account please refer directly to the page because the Google search results are still showing the old number.“
“The girl behind the counter was awesome! We came in not knowing this was a cash-only establishment despite the clearly visible signs (silly on our part), but she was so nice and understanding about the whole thing that we left to find an ATM and came back. Left her a big tip too for telling us where the nearest ATM was.And the lemonade was refreshing and delicious! Will be coming back, cash in hand.“

“Orange leaf is a self serve frozen yogurt bar. They have about 10 to 12 flavors and then a bar of toppings including fruit. The staff is friendly and efficient. The lounge itself has some pretty funky chairs to sit in. The decor is colorful orange and green which are pretty loud but overall i love going there for frozen yogurt.“
“What a cute little place! Stopped by The Moose on a whim after visiting a farmstand up the street. The combination of offerings they have here is so strange... yet satisfying? Breakfast/coffee and ice cream don't usually all go together as a business model, yet are some of my favorite things. The ice cream flavors are insane... like I've never seen so many flavors in my life. I opted for a breakfast sandwich and a Frozoffee (couldn't pick between ice cream or coffee, so I split the gap). Very impressed! Will definitely go back for ice cream.“
