“We had a great experience at Carluccio’s in Forestdale tonight. From our food, to the owner Carlo personally visiting our table, we could not have had a better dining experience. Carlo’s hospitality didn’t end there. He danced with my 94 year old grandmother to her favorite song Frank Sinatra’s “My Way”, performed beautifully by David Holbert. Thank you Carlo and David.“

“Tonight, we spontaneously explored Ella’s Wood Fired Kitchen in Wareham, and I'm thrilled we did. Despite having no reservation, we were promptly seated in a cozy corner near the bar. Our server quickly attended to us, delivering refreshing waters and delightful traditional mules. The highlight was the special pomegranate margarita with reposado and pomegranate simple syrup – truly amazing. For starters, we indulged in fried pork ribs, a Caesar salad with exceptional homemade croutons that had a cheese filling and focaccia with garlic Parmesan oil dip. The generous slices of focaccia were a personal favorite and very easy to pull apart. Moving on to the main course, we savored Chicken Parm, TAGLIATELLE bolognese, the house special surf & turf with scallops, and the WOOD GRILLED NY STRIP OR 6 OZ. FILET MIGNON with smashed fingerlings, roasted onion, shishito peppers, horseradish crema, and chimichurri. The in-house-made pasta added a delightful touch, and the rave reviews for the special surf and turf almost led to a second helping. Unable to resist, we took home pizzas – margarita, three cheese pepperoni, and sausage ricotta. For dessert, we all enjoyed a pistachio toffee cake in a mason jar with pistachio gelato and dulce de leche sauce. The entire meal was a delight, and our server's kindness and excellent recommendations enhanced the experience. We're eagerly looking forward to returning, perhaps opting for seats at the bar next time. The restaurant's charming decor, candlelit ambiance, and consistently busy atmosphere make it a highly recommended dining spot.“

“We ordered delivery, our delivery was not the correct one. I called to let them know and the owner was so very sorry and said new food was being made and would be right out the door to us. I am writing this because not only was the owner upset this happened, but was more than generous to make it correct. Mistakes happen, everyone is short staffed ,and they are doing everything they can to make it right.“

“Probably the best restaurant in Falmouth. The food is top notch and always fresh. They have two private dining rooms for parties and events, one of which has a fireplace. Great formal(ish) dining option, also with a cozy bar area that also offers live music on weekends. The staff is friendly and professional, and there hasn’t been a dish that I’ve tried there that was incredible. Portions are huge and filling, with more than enough to take home for a whole other meal. Trust me this place is incredible, and you will not be disappointed!“

“Osteria La Civetta is one of our favorite restaurants! It's a cozy, intimate and romantic atmosphere, which we love. The lights are dim and the decor is unique. The tables aren't too close together so we felt like we could have a private conversation. They have a nice selection of Italian wines. I selected the Primitivo, which was pretty good. The menu is small, but still includes many great options. I had the tortelloni with butternut sage sauce. It was great! The pasta is all made fresh in-house. I also had the affogato for dessert and it was delicious. I highly recommend! We can't wait to go back!“

“I just ordered some pizzas for my crew. I got to say that the help on the phone and in person was very pleasant and joyful. Not something you see everyday with service work. Thank you ladies for brightening my day, and the pizza was delicious. I have some guys staying in hotels here for work and they plan on trying more on the menu.“

I rarely ever visit a pizza place with this much care in the ingredients used.* Fun themed pizzas like fig and honey!* Slight spicy kick in some of their pizzas, which I loved. Doesn't make the pizza bland, and was a joy to taste and eat.Cons:* The dough was chewy (it's not hard). I struggled eating the crust. I placed a slice in microwave, covered it with a wet paper towel, and set the timer for 30 seconds. This resulted in a pillowy soft crust that I like.“

“I live in Hyannis and I drove to Falmouth to try this place because I love Italian food so I heard they have fresh pasta. I will tell you don't regret to go. You will love it.The chef went to our table and he suggest the osso buco which was falling off the bone and I had panna cotta as deserve so good.“

Staff was friendly and quick. We were pleasantly surprised at how good the calzone was. We have passed this place for years and never tried it because of the bad reviews. “I’m a big fan of this place. I always order the meatball appetizer for takeout and make the kid’s sandwich’s with them. Veal was very good when trying the chicken parm today. I just wish they would give me oil for my bread on a takeout order. I know they have dressing containers but they say they won’t give oil for takeout.“

Pieces of mushroom and it was lukewarm. Hubby had the haddock stuffed; dry with "hard as a rock" stuffing . (Difficult to get stuffed haddock Not overcooked. 5 out of 6 at our table ordered haddock.“

The food tasted very good with just personal flavor criticism: too much salt on calamari and the Italian salad had too much balsamic vinaigrette. In addition, the pricing for the quantity/ quality of the food was worthwhile for most of the dishes we ordered. Only one dish seemed overpriced for what we received. Our server, David, was quite pleasant, polite, and helpful. However, due to the busyness of the restaurant, it took him a while to check on how we were doing after receiving the main dishes.Parking: The parking lot was full so people were parking on the grass to the side. We chose to park in the lot next to the restaurant as the business was closed (it looked vacant).“
