I like to call this place good old reliable. Have been going here for years and food is always good compared to other food in the area. Pizza is solid and the toppings are the best part. Chicken, fries, onion rings, and sandwiches are all pretty good.

I take a lot away from first time experiences. Good, friendly service counts when I'm deciding to go someplace again. Even if the food is excellent, if the service is below par, I may never go back. That being said, I'd be more than happy to revisit Franklin Pizza & Deli. The food was great, the service was great and the atmosphere was inviting. For the below section, it's not honest recommending food I haven't tried yet, so there are very few selections. Don't take that to mean the other dishes aren't good.

Franklin Pizzas has to be one of the better local pizzas I've had. The ingredients are fresh, great light hearted sauce, cheesy and delicious. Only thing is that i experienced a pretty big difference in crust quality from one pizza to the next, the first being thicker and a bit more toasted which was great. Other than that, highly recommend!

Chicken cordon bleu? More like chicken cordon DO order the chicken cordon bleu calzone! Now, I have never been to Franklin, but a friend of mine brought me one of these calzones and I am thinking about relocating. He said the 'zones here remind him of childhood in Franklin, but it reminded me of the best 'zones I've ever sampled. Chicken, ham and cheese portions were on point. 10/10.

Best gf pizza around. It's tough to find a good gluten free pizza. The crust they use is really tasty and the texture is the best crust I've had. Toppings are generous.

Ordered the grilled ceasar salad with extra dressing.Chicken was grilled decently but was dry. In my opinion the chunks were too large but that may be my preference. Dressing was very bland and was disappointing. Salad (romaine) was fresh which was great! Note - Croutons on the side next time so that they don't get soft before I get to eat the salad at home.Overall it was just okay for me tonight.
