“We've driven by this place many times and after more than two years, we decided to give it a try. The outside of the restaurant makes you think the inside will be a fast-serve cafeteria style place, but we were pleasantly surprised. Dimly lit, surprisingly modern decor, and very clean. They have a full bar, but they have one of those seasonal liquor licenses, so we couldn't order cocktails. Seriously, seasonal liquor licenses just need to stop. Give these small businesses a break. Anyways, the menu was huge having Japanese, Vietnamese, and Chinese cuisine. The sushi menu alone was massive. I had the chicken pho. It was quite good, though the consistency of the chicken was a little odd. The flavor of the broth was on point though--and that's coming from a guy who used to live in the Vietnamese area of Dorchester and had pho often. The shumai was terriffic, and so was the miso soup, though it could have been served a little hotter. The server could not have been nicer, and attentive. Overall, we enjoyed this littler place very much and will return.“
“Best Peking ravioli I've ever had on the north shore, definitely made by hand not your run of the mill crap, minus 1 star because they gave me house special fried rice instead of lo mein but I picked up 10 minutes before close what can ya do“
“Very generous portions! This fed our family of four for two nights. The Japanese (sushi) menu wasn't available so we ordered from the Chinese menu but everything was excellent. We ordered delivery, which was prompt and easy. The person taking our order on the phone was also super friendly and recommended dishes for our kids. Highly recommend!“
“The food from Hong Kong Kitchen continues to improve. I suspect they have stopped worrying about local aging palates and are now cooking to their own expertise and tastes. Fresh ingredients and vegetables, generous portions, layered flavors. And as important, run by a really nice family and charging fair prices.“
“Not just lunch! Dinner, drinks, delivery. We moved to Florida and miss the Pilot house so much. When we come back this is always where we go! Winnie and her staff/family are just the best. The wonton soup is the best anywhere! The Mai Tais are fabulous. Can't wait to get back there soon!“
