Best Singapore Sty Ricenoodles I had so far ... definitely a great treat!

I'm not sure if there's been a change in owners within the last couple of years but we started to get take-out here shortly after the pandemic began. We were pleasantly surprised. The food was a major improvement from several years ago. The scallion pancakes are one of the best! Some of my other favorites are the sauteed green beans, hot & sour soup, and orange flavored shrimp. The staff is also very pleasant.

So irritated that the main courses don't come with rice, which you have to order extra and pay for. The egg drop soup was a salt bomb.

Not my favorite in Gloucester but not terrible either. A great location with much potential but not up to par with the competition in the area

food and service has declined immensely since the new owners. they are extremely stingy with their sauces. I called an order on the phone and asked for extra sauces on the side and when I went to pick it up they weren't provided so I asked again; they said I should've said it earlier when ordering my food. I did and they still had an issue. other times I have even offered to pay extra but they still have an attitude. all of their employees seem to be in a bad mood all the time.

Since moving from Boston, I have had a craving for Chinese food. So, I decided to try Horizon whereas it is the highest-rated Chinese food restaurant in Gloucester. Turns out it is not worth the hype. I am honestly confused why it is the highest-rated here. Maybe, now, it has different owners? The price is decent, food was fast and hot, but sadly it is just okay. The beef teriyaki, boneless spare ribs, and sesame chicken were dry and rubbery. It seemed that the food was old and reheated. Also, the egg rolls and Peking Ravioli weren't 100% what I would consider traditional American Chinese food. The Peking Ravioli was 90% dough and what filling it had was dry, minced meat which was off-putting. (Instead of the usual meatball.) All in all, I was extremely disappointed. My search for "good" Chinese food continues.

This isn't Chinese food. It's some gross Gloucester rendition of what people here eat and think is Chinese food. It's flavorless; it has no spice where spice should be. It's really awful

Absolutely a spot worth stopping by, the food is excellent and well prepared, the costs are reasonable and it is always well organized in here. Fantastic work.

My place for take-out. They watch Rachel Ray. It's all in the details.

This is unquestionably one of the finest place to eat in the region. Anytime I go there I am exceedingly happy. They hold their high level service and the topmost level of cooking they serve. You are always happy with this place. Very recommended.

Very bland and ordinary. Better off trying somewhere else. We miss the Chinese restaurant in Essex, MA which was delicious. We will not be back here.
