Lovely local hang out that welcomes visitors! I got a uniquely amazing cider plus a comforting grilled cheese and tomato soup - all delicious. The Salted Cod is a real gem in the Rocky Neck, and easily one of my favorite places to have a good time in Gloucester. Starting with the cool historic building, the vibe here is always nice, with fun music and a mix of locals, artists and tourists (in the summer). 100% my favorite spot in Gloucester! It’s so easy to pop in for a coffee or even better, a glass of wine. It’s casual, relaxed and really just all around the best. The views are GREAT and in the summer when the door is open and a nice breeze comes through there is nothing better. ALL the bartenders are so nice and wonderful to top it off.
