Really good sandwiches. I got the only vegetarian option on the menu, but I'd definitely come back for another. If New Deal Fruit is a 10/10 (which I think it is), I think the sandwiches here are like a 9/10. I'll definitely be back.

I have a girlfriend who really loves cannolis. She has sworn that the ones she gets in the North End of Boston are the best, until she tried Virgilio’s. We now have a new favorite spot. Their whoopie pies are great too! Will try to branch out next time I am there.

Popped over here while staying in a local hotel due to the hype and it did not disappoint. Another local store owner was super hyped about their bacon corn chowder and gave us a bunch of recs haha. We ordered the breakfast sandwich, which had the largest egg I'd ever seen. It was pretty skimpy with bacon and I'd probably prefer a different type of bread vs the sesame bun it comes with but they didn't offer other options. A steal for the price and maybe the sausage would have been the move. Loved the wedding cookies though and received some high recommendations for the subs!

"The bread makes the sandwich" they were not kidding here the bread was perfect. Kept together well with all the meats, sauces & hots. Call ahead order for pick up, fast and always good service! Great little sandwich and soup place. One of several special places on Main St in Gloucester that we really enjoy. The eggplant parm is very good.Wheelchair accessibility: Not wheelchair accessible as there is a step up from the street. Maybe there a way to get in from the back.

Small shop on Main Street in Gloucester. They have pastries and some stuff to purchase in store, however we fo there for their sandwiches and subs! Delicious...Parking: Main Street is very narrow, but allows parking on both sides of the street. Also a couple lots nearby within walking distance.

Stopped and got a sandwich to go. Packed with turkey, cheese and all the fixings on a fresh ciabatta bread. So god. Wish we lived closer.
