“Tucked away in Grafton, MA, the Town House Tavern might surprise you—not with a vast menu of entrees, but with its unique charm, extensive selection of drinks, and light, simple fare that complements an evening out. This isn’t your typical tavern with a full kitchen; instead, it specializes in creating a welcoming, convivial atmosphere where the focus is on enjoying good drinks and good company.Upon entering, you’re greeted with a cozy ambiance that combines rustic touches with a comfortable, laid-back vibe. It’s the perfect backdrop for unwinding after a long day, catching up with friends, or enjoying a casual date night. The staff here are known for their friendly and engaging service, making you feel like a regular from your very first visit. What the Town House Tavern lacks in a full kitchen, it makes up for with an impressive selection of wines, spirits, mainstream beers, and microbrews. Whether you’re a wine aficionado, a craft beer enthusiast, or someone who appreciates a well-made cocktail, you’ll find something here to suit your taste. Complementing the drink selection are simple yet satisfying snacks like popcorn and pretzels, ensuring you have just the right amount of nibbles to accompany your beverage of choice. While you shouldn’t come expecting a full meal, the charm of the Town House Tavern lies in its simplicity and focus on quality drinks and a warm, welcoming environment. It’s a place where conversations flow as freely as the drinks, and the lack of a full kitchen is hardly noticed amid the laughter and stories shared across the bar.For those looking for a relaxed spot to enjoy a drink in Grafton, the Town House Tavern is a delightful choice. Its focus on creating a friendly, inviting space where guests can enjoy a simple night out is what sets it apart. A visit here is a reminder that sometimes, all you need for a good time is a great drink and great company.“
“I used to live in 2 Grafton Common, just across from the Inn 25 years back and I knew the Inn's location. It was a historical building, nice, lot of modern amenities yet in old style which I personally like. Clean and comfortable bed, spacious room, bathroom is ok. Appreciate the fridge and hair dryer. The only thing is that I spent 1 night there in the beginning of October and there was no room heater. It was not super-cold but as I went there from Arizona, to me it was cold. I noticed it in night but didn't call the host for it as it was not terrible cold or freezing. But my suggestion would be to put a room heater. The tea-coffee arrangement is nice. I must appreciate the host's nice communication and appreciate that he did let me do early check-in. Grafton is a quaint small town with lots of trees in Common across from the Inn and I enjoyed it immensely but I must write that there was no front desk/reception in the building, the room key was in the lockbox, the front door stays open, inside light is dim, my room was No. 7 on 3rd floor with dim-lighted corridor and there was a small you get when you enter in an old house......to me all these were ok but may not be to everybody. An alone person may feel eerie or unsafe there. I stayed there for October 9, 2023.Walkability: you can walk in this quaint town and enjoy the greenery.“

“The chorizo salmon is the standout dish of the restaurant. It is a wonderful feeling when you order a dish and the waiter replies, “great choice” and you can tell they genuinely mean it. I have never had salmon cooked to such a perfect temperature upon request. They got it spot-on at the first try, indicating that when they cook seafood, they do so in a deliberate and expert manner.“

“Absolutely incredible establishment on all levels. Ownership/Management have really outdone themselves and should be commended for the way they care about every customer that walks through that door and their attention to detail shows on every level. Food is top notch, the drinks are the CUTEST(had to throw this in for the ladies) but also taste absolutely amazing!!!“

“My first time at Via's recently and I am impressed! Although pricey, which is to br expected, the food all had amazing flavor profiles. I absolutely loved the ricotta ball with crustinis, the blend of cheese with the honey topping was the perfect bite. The chicken orzo soup was quite possibly the best soup I have ever had in my life! So flavorful and rich! And the drinks were perfection. To top the night, we had the Gelato cones, and the Gelato it's self tasted like it was straight from Italy. Creamy, but light, indulgent and flavorful! I can't wait to come back!!“

“ok, not what i expected, an OLD bar, and perhaps a little dusty here and there, nice collection of taxidermy, looks like an often locals place, yet with a certain ambiance, not too crowded for lunch today, service, the bartender was wonderful, informative and funny, the drinks were very good, the menu did not exist, meatball or sausage sub, a cheese board or some sort or a pasta dish, the meatballs were good yet were contained in a mountain of bread, interesting different, ok... they have a wonderfully full menu of music however and that should keep it pretty interesting, heck, a trip to the men's room and all the inscriptions on the walls and doors was interesting!!!!!!!!“

Our server was very friendly.Update: Went again for dinner with my friends fam. I ordered the general tso with shrimp. It was delish. Everyone liked their food they ordered but the wait was too long. “Calamari was delicious! Quick take out. Friendly service too!“
“Finding this place was challenging. It would've been helpful if there was a legible sign with a light. We are not from Millbury so we were not familiar with this place. I saw an old Budlight sign with a tiny sign that said open on the window. Ample parking. Nice people, good drinks and prices! They had a band, we liked their selection of songs since they weren't mainstream. L-jays was the name of the band.“

“Highly recommend this spot for multiple reasons. It’s a great spot for a group of friends looking for a casual hang out with video games or board games or a couple looking to spice up date night. They offer brick oven pizza which is so good, great cocktails as well as coffee and expresso. The set up of the place is modern and cozy and offers everything you want to have in a gaming room!“

“The Worcester Public Schools’ Coats for Kids fundraiser was held here for the first time on Oct. 24. What a great venue. The food was phenomenal, room was large enough to hold the hundreds who attended with great overflow in the adjacent bar area, the friendly staff went above and beyond and the atmosphere was relaxed and inviting. Thanks for all you did to help us have a very successful evening.“

“My husband and I sat at the bar. Bartender was great. Very attentive, great personality. Interacted with a few waitresses that were all very personable! Food was on point. We had classic calamari which was cooked perfect and was lightly battered. Very tasty. We both ordered the Nashville chicken tacos and they were amazing! Dessert drinks were delicious! Apple martini and skrewy White Russian. Highly recommend!!“

“It's one of the best places around for food. Every day there's something new on the menu and worth the money. Heard the drinks are good and when the backyard is open it's a becomes a playground for adults with bands playing, horseshoes, jumbo jinger picnic tables for card's hangout. Can't wait for 2024 summer to start“
“Everybody is so friendly, Rob the owner always makes you feel comfortable and welcomed, fun games and different events all the time where everyone is encouraged to participate, bands sometimes, dancing if you want .. just an all around great place!“

“Fantastic spot. John is s throw back to an old school Irish bar keep — smart as a whip and a wonderful conversationalist. Go seek out John and enjoy the spirit. P.S. John, there’s nobility, no matter your profession, in working hard and trying to make a better life for your children. You sir, are royal.“

“Just left the hillbilly hotel lol... went there because of a 1 star review said it looked like a bunch of hillbillies looking to kill a non local. My type of place.. what I found was a local bar full of welcoming locals... a Spit fire 18 year old bartender that thinks she 37 actualy she is.... Amanda... the other bar tender still don't believe it but says it's true either way it was a good end of a great MC ride in October if your a biker highly recommend Jay“

“This bar in Worcester may be currently the best in town. They have two friendly service dogs and offer a variety of events throughout the week. On Monday nights, they host movie nights at 7pm, open mic on Wednesdays, trivia on Thursdays (although it may be moved to Fridays), Karaoke on Fridays, and comedy on Sundays. The owner is a great cook and there is always food available. In addition to the bar, there are couches, a free video arcade game, and tables of both bar height and standard height. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming, making it feel like a second living room for many people.“

“Great Bar - Nice Patrons My friends and I came across this bar after eating at the Italian place up this street. Everyone at Cicero's seemed to know each other - it was obvious that we were new there (out of place?), but everyone was really nice to us. I chatted with many other patrons there. The guy sitting next to us won a game he was playing, and bought drinks for everyone at the bar including us. Very comfortable atmosphere. Women's bathroom was very clean. The bartender was very attentive and friendly. I don't live in the area, but if I am again, I will definitely go back. Thanks“
“I came here the night before my sons funeral. A friend of mine who was like an uncle to my son was with me. We had a great time. The bar tender was great. The drinks where strong, but enjoyable. This was my first time in this bar and must say I had a good time. I would definitely come back. It was a peaceful atmosphere.“

“It's a small place so the bathrooms are cramped. They also don't serve food, only drinks. But they did order pizza when we went there and fed everyone so that was cool. They have great decorations. This place is awesome for live music.“
