“I would have given it 4.5 stars if there were half stars. It's clean, and has local honey, and their ice cream in containers, for sale. The ice cream cones are good, but my ice cream was not entirely smooth, like it was freezer burned or maybe had been warmer from a power problem or something, and then refrozen.The animals are fun to see and feed, and seem well cared for. And the animal part is free. There is a small, and I mean small, playground there for little kids, but it won't hold their interest for too long. A couple of big tractor tires and some sand. But, you don't go there for that, so it's ok.You will have a nice drive out there, especially in the fall, and it's a good experience for the kids, for the money. The ice creams have homemade waffle cones, and in the past, the ice cream was smooth and creamy. (Maybe ask for a sample to see if the flavor you want has ice crystals in it.)A good trip with little kids.”

“This place was amazing. I loved the atmosphere, the decor and the service was wonderful. I absolutely adore that they have a smoothie for your dog as well. The options are so vast, there is definitely something here for everyone. I love the different milk options and fresh additions you can add to your smoothie. Local products used. Absolutely amazing! “If you’d love a good burger this IS the place. It’s outstanding for a burger. It also makes delicious Salmon, steak , chicken pot pie, etcWe’ve always had excellent delicious dinners and would recommend Comfort Kitchen for anyone who loves food. It’s priced right too.”

They have great beer, excellent food, and sometimes there is live entertainment.I wish I could give this place a 6th star...We finally were out this way again today and I had a CBH Kolsch that our server Brianna recommended and it was good. We also enjoyed the Yankee Garden pizza.Everything was great as usual…”

“Made 530 appt by phone. Arrived 515. Was told there was a big party being served and our meal might take a little longer. We didn't get our meal for almost 75 minute. Guess I need to ask when I make a reservation if there is a big party being served. If I had known it would take this long we would have eaten somewhere else. We were not happy as we had let the server know. You would think we would have been offered a free drink or dessert but that didn't happen. Very disappointed in the sevice. Maybe they need to hire more kitchen help. We spent almost $160 for our meal. We did leave a good tip for the server as this wasnt his fault. Steve P.”

“It seems this year's drought has wreaked havoc on Christmas Tree Farms. Most places I called either are not having choose and cut or the trees are small. Someone happened to mention Coward Farms in Southwick, Ma. A look at their website convinced us to make the drive. ( We were VERY happy we did! Loads of trees of all sizes to choose and cut, several varieties, reasonable prices that include "shaking" and baling, and an extremely efficient and pleasant staff. Precut trees, wreaths, cemetery logs are also available. We will return!”

“Phyl is fantastic--she's fun, easy to talk to, and goes the extra mile to take care of her customers (even if that means delivering them cake tasting samples in the middle of a rainstorm!). Phyl was so easy to work with, using primarily text message and a few phone calls to connect. Her cake was DELICIOUS (and got so many compliments from our guests), and it was incredibly reasonably-priced in comparison to all the other shops we looked at. We will come back to Phyl for all our custom cake needs in the future.”

“When searching gluten free friendly restaurants to meet a friend near the CT/MA line, Fresh Fields Cafe and Deli popped up. I looked at the menu, as I always do before making a decision. They had great coffee & TEA options and a nice gluten free wrap option, which I haven’t found while out to eat so I was excited to give it a try. I was very surprised when I pulled up to see this Cafe & Deli was in a gas station. There is a designated section with walk up deli and plenty of tables. I ordered the GFree Veggie Betty wrap and a Chi Tea Latte, both were excellent, and the wrap was HUGE! My friend ordered the ‘lite’ BLT sub, they also have a hearty option. I travel a lot, I wish there were more family delis in travel centers!! The food was prepared to order with local fresh ingredients. I did ask the attendant to wipe down our table, which he was happy to take care of quickly. I will definitely be going back.”

“Recommend the vegetarian eggs & cheddar protein box. We arrive during a high volume period and had to wait for our preordered food. Staff worked diligently and were friendly. Bench seating looked uncomfortable as bystanders waited for their orders.Handicap parking on either side of the entrance. The vibe was loud and straight forward. My opinion is this location could use an expansion to better the cafe design.Vegetarian options: Always go with the protein box.Kid-friendliness: I saw a small high chair available.Wheelchair accessibility: Parking on either side of entrance.”

“It's a rest stop McDonald's so that says most of it. Service was ok. Food was ok. The building is really showing its age. The bathrooms are old, but fairly clean. There is lots of sitting room and the building is spacious.”

At first I thought the soup was wrong because the broth was tomato-based, but it turned out to be a delicious twist on chicken noodle soup. And the salad had a generous amount of mozzarella on it. Will be ordering from Geno's again and would definitely recommend!”

“We arrived here a few days before Christmas when the roads and rest stops were relatively busy. While we placed a mobile order, so we didn’t interact much directly with the staff. We did overhear the older gentleman taking orders, despite’s being busy he was so kind and patient with all customers and was trying hard to make the experience fun especially for kids ordering. The woman who was doing the cleaning while we were there (with the short brown hair) did an incredible job, the seating area was immaculate and she was very careful and precise, you can tell she really takes pride in her work. This was just a short stop on the road for us but we really felt welcome and had a great experience.”

“Drive thru was busy so we went inside. Most employees were servicing the window so we were told to order at the pickup counter. Had a little wait to order and then a little wait to pay. Drinks were good. But if we saw a line like that again, we would probably try to come back later.”
