This coffee shop is absolutely charming: I loved the ambiance and the fireplace. The sandwiches are delicious. However, the service is somewhat slow: I ordered a prosciutto sandwich and it took 1 hour (note that it's a cold sandwich with butter and prosciutto, so prep time is probably 1 min). Just come in with a good book!
Welcome to Rubi’s Coffee & Sandwiches! An absolutely darling little cafe, neatly tucked away in the heart of Great Barrington. If you like an intensely pretentious atmosphere and the best coffee and egg sandwich you’ve ever had, I can guarantee this is the place for you! I walked in and it went downhill from there. I tried ordering breakfast and was met with only, we don’t have that. The way things were communicated felt like I was bothering them by being there. The latte was over heated and burnt.
