“Recently beautifully remodeled. Great service, food and service! Busy yet provides host and or hottest to accommodate the large customer base. May be a shot wait time at times. Worth the wait which is normally shot.Parking: The restaurant parking is limited however street parking and another area to park in a large open area behind restaurant next door.“
“Simply excellent. We were seated promptly even on a busy Saturday night however they had some games to enjoy during our short wait. Home brewed beer was delicious. I had the gold and my husband had the stout. Both excellent. My daughter enjoyed the lemon lime homemade soda. Tons of great food choices even for kids and all meals were enjoyed. Highly recommend.“
“Delicious! The pancakes are a must, especially if you enjoy blueberry pancakes. Atmosphere is comfy and cozy. Every member of the kitchen and serving staff was very kind and accommodating! Special thanks to Alice, you were going above and beyond.“
“I love this place and their food. The service can be slow sometimes but that is because they have so many regulars that come in and the staff likes to see how their day is going. For the most part, since I moved to Greenfield, Ma. From East Texas, I get good service but sometimes I feel like I've been forgotten. I hope to give them some East Texas favorites that I think even people from this area would enjoy like Frito Pie for one. The prices are good and you get a good amount of food for the price. I just wish they were open longer than 3 PM. It would be so AWESOME to have dinner here and then go next door to Greenfield Gardens Movie Theater. Give it a try when you're in Greenfield. Brad's Place ?!!“
“A solid place. Was passing through the area with a group of 6 on a Saturday afternoon and got seated right away. Our waitress was pleasant and checked on us just enough. The 1 star was lost due to the wait. It took about 30 minutes to get the appetizer and another 15 for the food. Otherwise all of the food we got was great. My party had the black bean burger, the mushroom Swiss burger, stuffed haddock, fish and chips, bbq chicken wings, chicken fingers, french onion soup and fries. I heard no complaints about the food and we all left with leftovers. Will certainly return!“
“I recently stopped at the 99 Restaurants conveniently located near the Route 91 exit during my 6-hour drive to Vermont. It's a perfect spot for a relaxing break with a diverse menu that caters to the whole family. The Cheese Moon was a hit with the kids, and the Chicken Wrap was a tasty choice. The friendly staff added to the positive experience. I highly recommend it for a break to stretch your legs and enjoy a satisfying meal.“
“So I went here tonight and I’ve gone here for years but tonight I had the best waitress named Amy. She was so sweet and made my terrible night a bit better. She deserves the best in life and I’m really sad that I didn’t get a chance to wish her a good rest of her night as I was in a big group and in a rush as my night wasn’t the best. If you read this Amy, my group of 8 others and I thought you were great. I was the one with the blue hair :D“
“It's a hit or miss coming here. Food is 3 out of 4 times correct when it comes out, they seem to be understaffed lately and it takes a while to be seated and a little longer to be seen for drink orders. However if you don't mind the wait its fine.“
“First time there and we really enjoyed it. This is not a full table service place as you order at the counter and they bring it to the table. The food was delicious and the staff was very friendly. It is a little small inside but nicely set up. We look forward to going back!Parking: There were plenty of spots on the street.“
“My best friend and I stumbled upon this very upscale but casual restaurant overlooking shellburne falls! I wish I could bring this place and all the staff back to New Haven, CT because it would be THE SPOT to go. We’re loved the atmosphere, the food, the service, everything. I couldn’t even scrounge up something negative to say. We sat at the beautiful bar and had the absolute pleasure of meeting the bartender, Casey. SHE IS PERFECTION! Don’t ever let her go and if you do….. send her to New Haven CT. We left with full bellies, full hearts, and definitely a stack of desserts to go!!!! Let’s get into the food:We started off with the crispy polenta, which tasted like a crispy, crunchy garlicky polenta egg soufflé… It was absolutely FAHKING heaven. We also shared a really fresh beet salad with walnuts and goat cheese, and a tangy citrus dressing. It was kind of standard, but it was also absolutely perfect and delicious roughage. Then for dinner, my friend Eliza had the rack of lamb that was cooked, perfectly medium rare, and it was laying on top of the creamiest, mashed potatoes and other sautéed veggies. I had the swordfish, which I have never had before, in my entire life, and it was pretty mind blowing, the fish slathered in this creamy basil lemon sauce and served over basmati rice. SO GOOD!!!! We didn’t have the opportunity to take photos of the food because we were too busy shoving it down our faces! If you’re ever in the area, this place is a must go to! They are local. They support local. And if I was local I’d be there weekly!“
“I ordered a burger right before stick season, or whatever it was that they closed up for a few weeks-- And i spent the entire damn time craving a burger. 9/10, lost a point because you werent open when i wanted 6 million burgers--But seriously, no, folks.. go eat here on your next day off/family outting/what-have-you.You will NOT be disappointed!! If you are, you're wrong. ⚠️?“
“Visited on New Year's Eve for their prix fixe dinner. The food was delicious and unique. The atmosphere is cozy and just a little bit like a set for a play. After a while I started noticing interesting folks coming and going while my friend and I enjoyed our dinner, and our waitress seemed to be someone we had already known. I could have been sitting in an audience watching the would thing... and that was enchanting.I'll have to go back again soon!“
“It had been a while since I had been at the pub, but I went there with my father a few days ago. The chilli was awesome and a simple salad and great local ale paired with it well. Eating at a window seat overlooking the water is nice. It can be a bit tight and crowded sometimes, but I have no complaints. They do well with what they have and I'll return anytime I want a locally sourced hearty meal.“
“Perfectly delicious hamburgers, paddy melts, fries and onion rings. I saw a whole bunch of other sandwiches and items on their menu but I was a craving a bacon cheeseburger so my friend and I came here for a late lunch one afternoon after checking out the Montague Book Mill. Decor is clearly very dated but I find that adds to the charm. More importantly, place is very clean and given that it was a rainy, coldish kind of day outside, we lucked out and snagged a table beside the wrought-iron wood-burning fireplace. Even though it was late in the afternoon, the place surprisingly filled up quickly with other patrons. Foodwise, absolutely no complaints, they do all the old standbys perfectly well and even had Trader Joe's Organic Ketchup on each table. If I'm in the area in the summer, I definitely want to try out their ice cream.“
“This is a time capsule retro restaurant that's actually really good. Who serves veal Oscar anymore? But it was great! Service was cheerful and attentive. We arrived early and the room filled up with locals as we ate. A great experience “
“Gill Tavern exceeded all expectations with its impeccable service and delectable food. From the moment we walked in, the staff was warm and welcoming, creating a delightful atmosphere. The attentiveness of the waitstaff was remarkable; they were quick to offer recommendations and cater to our preferences. As for the food, each dish was a culinary masterpiece. The menu boasted a diverse selection, and every item we ordered showcased the chef's skill and creativity. Fresh, high-quality ingredients were evident in every bite. The flavors were well-balanced, and presentation was artful. What truly stood out was the seamless coordination between the kitchen and the serving staff. Our meals arrived promptly, and the timing between courses was impeccable. It was evident that the team at Gill Tavern prioritizes both the quality of the dining experience and the satisfaction of their patrons. In conclusion, Gill Tavern is a hidden gem that combines exceptional service with a gastronomic journey. A visit to this establishment is not just a meal; it's a memorable experience that leaves a lasting impression.“
“Very fun lively place to get a healthy American style breakfast with their pure maple syrup. It was crowded for us on a Sunday morning and the food took a pretty long time but its pleasant to chillax at one of their picnic tables to wait. You can also buy maple syrup, maple frosted donuts, maple fudge. I also had a talk with the guys in the back running the maple syrup boiling machines to learn how the process works. Probably good for kids to learn about. Worth the stop if you are in the area. Great for families and a real authentic "New England" experience.“
“A true farm to table dining experience in the Pioneer Valley! My wife and I have been going the Blue Heron for years and always have a great time. The service and food is consistently excellent with ingredients from local farmers. Blue Heron offers an upscale dining experience and is very close to Mount Sugarloaf, Tree House Brewing Company, Yankee Candle and more! I highly recommend the Ricotta & Honey small plate and Curried Vegetable Tian although there isn't anything on their menu I wouldn't try. The Chocolate Truffle Torte with espresso ice cream is a great way to finish a perfect meal!Vegetarian options: Vegetarian options never tasted so good. I am not sure if it is available all the time but the Curried Vegetable Tian is fantastic!Dietary restrictions: While they offer a wide range of choices, many are gluten-free and vegetarian or vegan-friendly.“
“Exceptional atmosphere and food to match. Tasteful menu selection to fit every pallet, slightly on the pricey side. Handicapped accessable, good parking, nice bar area, and good selection of beer as well. If you found this review helpful, please tap a thumbs up to let me know . Thanks!“
“Our server Shayla was amazing. She was knowledgeable about the menu and gave great recommendations. We ordered the oysters Rockefeller appetizer. They were done just right. I had the hangar steak which you could cut with a butter knife. My partner had the seafood risotto which she loved. We shared the sticky toffee pudding and let's say it was the best I ever had. Definitely will be coming back and recommend it to anyone looking for a good meal with great service. The ambiance of the restaurant is nice and we loved the music in the background.“
“The Restaurant is what I'm reviewing: It has an old nostalgic New England Charm unsurpassed by any of the areas wonderous old properties. You will adore their Clam Chowder, and they have wonderful Seafood in general. Overall, I can not WAIT to head back to this gem :)Food & drinks: Its somewhat pricey, so be ready to pay up, BUT they have a romantic Fireplace in Winter that cheers the soul. [A] drinks are available upon request.“
“Bar tender Maddie was great, atmosphere was pleasant. Quiet, warm and cozy. Great food. I had shrimp scampi, well made, good flavor, great portion, and nice presentation on plate. Full bar, specialty cocktails, good variety of beers on tap. Will be going back to try their brunch on Saturdays and Sundays.“
“I’ve been here twice now and I have enjoyed it each time! I got blackened fish tacos which were to die for, they did them so well. It was hard not to get them when I went the second time, but I got the salmon instead and was not disappointed. It was cooked perfectly. Broccoli was steamed quickly I think and then also browned off, but still had a bit of crisp to them. Also got the Brussels sprout appetizer and we devoured them, they were amazing! I have not gotten so excited for a vegetable before. The service is always friendly. I will surely be coming here again and again.“
“Went for breakfast on a Sunday and the service was great! I had a perfectly poached egg, the corned beef hash was delicious and so was their bloody mary. They use really fresh, high quality ingredients and I cant wait to go back. The only thing is I wish they were open earlier since it's breakfast.“
“Hadn't been here for years, but stopped in late on a Saturday afternoon after a horrible experience at a nearby restaurant. We sat at the bar and had excellent service (Matt) and a great choice of food. We were all 3 happy with our meals and looking forward to going back.“
“Small restaurant with friendly staff. Chicken & waffles were delicious. Chicken was crispy on the outside and juicy inside.Mac & cheese, brisket and pulled pork were excellent. My husband requested a chicken sandwich that wasn’t on the menu. The owner happily obliged. He said it was the best chicken sandwich he’s ever had. We will definitely return and would highly recommend. Support small business!“
“Had a great re-opening of Rocket Queer on Sat 2-10-2024, nice to see.coOwner Josh?, and new bartenders from the last time i was their probably over 5yrs ago. Service, food, atmosphere still top notch in my book. And too one bartender tonight in the Redshirt Very Cute!!“
“This place is awesome!! The staff are extremely friendly and they make you feel at home. The benedicts and sausage and gravy are amazing!! My favorite is the hashlette and the breakfast burrito. Service is quick even when they are busy. If you’re local and want a good breakfast, you should definitely check this diner out, you won’t regret it!“
“Wow! If you are looking for personalized service, intimate atmosphere, carefully and meticulous dishes this is your place! Two cocktails, two appetizers, two entrees, coffee, and one AMAZING dessert for well under $100.00? The waitress was so proud of the dishes and knew exactly how things were prepared, made suggestions, checked on us several times and didn't Rus us one bit. My recommendations- Brussels sprouts Artichoke Parmesan dip with pita chips Steak frites Impossible burger -( perfectly cooked!) The chocolate cake? To die for. Don't miss this place but come early as we did or make a reservation.“
