“My best friend and I stumbled upon this very upscale but casual restaurant overlooking shellburne falls! I wish I could bring this place and all the staff back to New Haven, CT because it would be THE SPOT to go. We’re loved the atmosphere, the food, the service, everything. I couldn’t even scrounge up something negative to say. We sat at the beautiful bar and had the absolute pleasure of meeting the bartender, Casey. SHE IS PERFECTION! Don’t ever let her go and if you do….. send her to New Haven CT. We left with full bellies, full hearts, and definitely a stack of desserts to go!!!! Let’s get into the food:We started off with the crispy polenta, which tasted like a crispy, crunchy garlicky polenta egg soufflé… It was absolutely FAHKING heaven. We also shared a really fresh beet salad with walnuts and goat cheese, and a tangy citrus dressing. It was kind of standard, but it was also absolutely perfect and delicious roughage.Then for dinner, my friend Eliza had the rack of lamb that was cooked, perfectly medium rare, and it was laying on top of the creamiest, mashed potatoes and other sautéed veggies. I had the swordfish, which I have never had before, in my entire life, and it was pretty mind blowing, the fish slathered in this creamy basil lemon sauce and served over basmati rice. SO GOOD!!!! We didn’t have the opportunity to take photos of the food because we were too busy shoving it down our faces!If you’re ever in the area, this place is a must go to! They are local. They support local. And if I was local I’d be there weekly!“

“It had been a while since I had been at the pub, but I went there with my father a few days ago. The chilli was awesome and a simple salad and great local ale paired with it well. Eating at a window seat overlooking the water is nice. It can be a bit tight and crowded sometimes, but I have no complaints. They do well with what they have and I'll return anytime I want a locally sourced hearty meal.“

“Went for breakfast on a Sunday and the service was great! I had a perfectly poached egg, the corned beef hash was delicious and so was their bloody mary. They use really fresh, high quality ingredients and I cant wait to go back. The only thing is I wish they were open earlier since it's breakfast.“

“This was our first visit for dinner, and it was a great experience. It really checked all the boxes I can think of; the building is new, provides a warm and comfortable atmosphere, has wonderful views, a very friendly and attentive staff, the food is fantastic, and the prices very fair for the quality and quantity you get. We had the seafood casserole at $30, and I can not adequately describe just how delicious it was. It was filled with lobster, shrimp, scallops, and fish, with a buttery crumb topping, and the size of the dish was huge. We couldn't finish it and took the rest home for the next day... so I really consider it a $15 meal X 2 meals. We also saw dinners going to other tables, like fried whole bellied clams, fish and chips, burgers, and more, and they all looked equally fantastic. We will definitely be back to try them as well. Don't hesitate, GO, and try it for yourself. “Wow! If you are looking for personalized service, intimate atmosphere, carefully and meticulous dishes this is your place! Two cocktails, two appetizers, two entrees, coffee, and one AMAZING dessert for well under $100.00? The waitress was so proud of the dishes and knew exactly how things were prepared, made suggestions, checked on us several times and didn't Rus us one bit. My recommendations- Brussels sprouts Artichoke Parmesan dip with pita chips Steak frites Impossible burger -( perfectly cooked!) The chocolate cake? To die for. Don't miss this place but come early as we did or make a reservation.“

“First time there and we really enjoyed it. This is not a full table service place as you order at the counter and they bring it to the table. The food was delicious and the staff was very friendly. It is a little small inside but nicely set up. We look forward to going back!Parking: There were plenty of spots on the street.“

“Simply excellent. We were seated promptly even on a busy Saturday night however they had some games to enjoy during our short wait. Home brewed beer was delicious. I had the gold and my husband had the stout. Both excellent. My daughter enjoyed the lemon lime homemade soda. Tons of great food choices even for kids and all meals were enjoyed. Highly recommend.“
