Gibbet Hill is by far my favorite restaurant. The crab dip appetizer is loaded with crab, I think the salads are picked out back on the day they are served, and the steaks are second to none. The atmosphere is so friendly, cozy, and just the right amount of upscale. Even if you don't eat, sit at the bar and try their signature cocktails. Last but no least the Pot de Creme desert is not to be missed. The only problem is they have ruined me for all other steak restaurants as I always find myself comparing it to Gibbet Hill Grill steak.

This place is an absolute gem ? ✨️ The people are so polite and the food is AMAZING! I had my service dog with me and they seated us with no problem. The Inside is all esthetic barnwood, cognac and honey theme with a rich farm to table vibe. The crab dip was delicious and the clamps chowder was creamy goodness!! I ordered the Steak Tips bowl and my taste buds were out of this world! ? It was a sweet treat after a nice walk through the Barncroft Castle just a short drive down the road. Everything about our dinner was grand! The atmosphere was warm and comfortable, and the waitstaff was super friendly. The bread and cornbread were fresh tasting, the drinks intrsting and we'll made. One of the appetizers we got was the crab dip, which was cheesy while not being oily. We also got the roasted Brussels sprouts, which were nice. For my main course, I got the scallops, which were just awesome. The only thing that was messed up was my side. I ordered the mac and cheese, but they gave me the mashed potatoes instead. I did turn out to be a good thing cause the mashed potatoes were really good. I did try someone elses Mac and cheese, and it wasn't very good. Pretty bland. So i'm glad I got the mashed potatoes instead. For desert, we got the milk and cookies, which were really good! Overall, I would hands down go back. It's pricey, but not as pricy as I thought.

For an American steakhouse Gibbet is outstanding. The food is very good, plus they offer a solid drinks selection. Oh, and may I compliment them on their own beer too! Portions are very decent and very good but overpriced and don't really shine on uniqueness. Still, a great place to go and enjoy yourself.Staff was superb and very helpful and the restaurant is truly beautiful with large views offering pastural fields. A must for sure!Parking: A very large parking lot which is free is on the grounds. You won't have to worry about finding a spot.

Attended a friends wedding and it was so beautiful. I have several dietary restrictions and the wait staff did everything they could to accommodate me. Food was absolutely fantastic. Would love to go back!

This place never disappoints unless you can't get a table. Since the food is so good and they have so many functions due to it also being lovely, make a reservation or cross your fingers for a seat at the bar. Try the home made potato chips mmmmm.
