“Great drinks. The decor is a bit outdated, the food is good but wasn't memorable. If skiing, eat there other than that, not a go to for me.Our waitress was very sweet.”

This restaurant located in the beautiful Berkshires is pretty hidden, unless you're lodging at the Jiminy Peak Mountain Resort, with John Harvard's being one of the many restaurants available during your stay. We both opted for chicken sandwiches. His was simple - cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion. Hers was an odd pairing - caramelized onions, bacon, cheese, tomato, and...pesto? Yes, pesto. It was delicious, although the amount given was not very great and more had to be requested. The chicken was juicy, the brioche bun generously toasted, and the french fries perfectly salted. Service was great, we were perfectly tended to. Back to the dessert - the brownie was moist and chocolatey, the ice cream rich. All in all, the perfect item to satisfy that after-dinner sweet tooth.”

“I live about 20 minutes away and have been meaning to go here for months. I stopped and got takeout. It was ready quickly, and the meat was cooked to perfection…and my beef pastels were absolutely delicious. The young woman who served me was lovely. I will be back soon to eat in person.”

“stopped here with our family of four while staying locally for the week. we loved how they were knowledgeable with the menu in regards to gluten. all sauces and meats are GF. wings and fries do not contain gluten but they ARE in the fryer with other gluten items. the food took slightly longer but it was absolutely amazing. worth the wait for fresh, home cooking. it was the early part of a Saturday night and by the time we left, the line was very long. worth the wait for everyone, i'm sure! between all four of us, we had a little bit of everything.... 1/2 chicken, pulled pork, St Louis ribs, chicken tenders. wings (some mild buffalo and some with honey maple. the honey maple was unique and amazing), sides: fresh cut fries, corn bread, potato salad, coleslaw, peach baked beans. everything was delicious. we were starving (hence the amount of food we ordered!) we came in from a day of hiking and this was perfect. the people are super nice. met Old Man Jeff's wife. she was nice and was not bothered by all the questions we had. thanks for a great meal and for.being a wonderful family owned restaurant!”

Last time as we were standing there for almost 10 minutes while we were ignored. But when the phone rang that was picked up right away and that order was placed.”

“I highly recommend Ben & Jerry's catering service. We booked them for a graduation party this weekend and I can honestly say it was one of the best customer service experiences I have ever had. I communicated with Kate, and she was incredibly accommodating, patient with all of my questions and super, super responsive. The owner manned the sundae bar and he was funny, courteous and a pleasure to interact with. If you have ever considered having Ben & Jerry's cater your event, don't hesitate! It was incredible from start to finish!”

“Okay, I have lived in the W-town area my whole life and seen all the different ways this store has been run.For the first time in my almost 40 years, there is finally someone running it who knows what they are doing. There has never been "regular people" food or offerings here. It's always super uppity food that isn't good and no one in town wants to eat. The store quickly folds because no one goes.Everyday I drive by lately the place is packed. So I decided to drop in with my toddler for some lunch/breakfast. What a change! Good food that anyone would like to eat! Prices that are reasonable mixed with quality ingredients you won't find at the local diners. Gluten free bread that isn't horrible and is actually pretty good!A mix of locals, college kids and some blue collar workers, everyone was happy. I applaud the new owner and we will be back! Keep up the good work!Dietary restrictions: I have a gluten allergy and the bread was good, they seem to have a wide range of options for folks.”

“I have been getting frozen yogurt here recently and the service and staff is always great. Today I met a manager and was treated very well. Very reasonable prices, right up the road from work for me, and it tastes great! I will be back again and again. This place is a nice addition to the BerkshiresThe manager I spoke to offered for me to put my business cards up on her wall of business cards which is not only greatly appreciated but really ties into the small-town feel of this place.I personally got the chocolate hazelnut, I believe it to be a new favor and it is definitely my favorite.”

“My wife and I took a long weekend in the Berkshires. We drove by this place and had to stop. Unfortunately for us we got there at the end of a busy day for her and there wasn't much left. But she told us she'd make us something for the next day. We ordered an awesome Cheesecake. The price was incredible too. This place is a gem.”

“BEST donuts I've had in the Northeast so far. I've been looking for any donut shop that's not a Dunkin Donuts and it's been difficult to find. I'm from Canada and Tim Hortons is my baseline for a decent donut. Shire donuts are the same texture, extremely fresh and made to order. Absolutely delicious and can't wait to try more flavours!”

“Much of this authentic Mexican fair and other dishes are always well prepared and good size portions. Prepare to be patient, No reservations and they get very busy certain days of the week. But always worth the wait!”

“We’re from the Midwest. We like to eat in local places when we travel. BBQ sounded good, but we were skeptical about Massachusetts and BBQ. This place was great. The owners do everything. The place is tiny so it’s only take out. When they realized we were traveling, they gave us directions to a park with picnic tables. That was a great atmosphere for great BBQ. You should go and enjoy.”

“Dinner last night at Mario's did not disappoint. I have to say first that this was our second time there, first time our waiter was Brian. When I made reservations for our second trip I asked for Brian, he was not on last night. Shea (sorry if I spelled your name wrong) was our waitress. Shea was so pleasant ,laughed and joked with us. We were with another couple who had never been. They said for sure they'd be back. Next time we will ask for Brian or Shea. It makes all the difference in who your server is, thank you Shea!”

“Cims is like my Cheers. Yes, when I go there a lot of people do know my name. But I can go by myself and strike up a conversation with anyone from anywhere and have fun. It is really nice to get to know people from the area, as well as out of town who have never experienced the Berkshires. I highly recommend all of their food, but some of my favorites are the Brandy wings bone in or boneless, I think they call them Cims Wings. The lobster roll is delicious as are the fried scallops and the Fried chicken basket. It is usually on the special board. It is a very sweet better and totally delicious. I have never in 15 years been disappointed with any food I get from there. They also have a great beverage selection as well as many TVs to watch a variety of sporting events including the weather channel”

“Today was my first time eating food from LuLu’s. I can say that the Turkey Hoagie - Lettuce, tomato, onion, pickled cukes, pickled onions with spicy Mayo- was quite literally the best sandwich I’ve ever had. I will be having these much more regularly!”
