I would like to recognize Donnie the bartender who assisted me with info about Wahlburger owned restaurant and was very professional. Unfortunately I could not make a Tuesday Night dinner event Donnie made me aware of but the friendliness was on point. I heard of this restaurant watching Wahlburgers and wanted to see what the restaurant was about. Met expectations. Hopefully I could meet Paul next time I'm in town. “We were absolutely blown away by this establishment. The ambience, the service, the caliber of the food, we're all top-notch. We will absolutely be back. We live in Hingham but we didn't realize this place existed. It is honestly incredible. The food is very inventive and Versatile. White table cloths / fine dining, beautiful cathedral ceilings, great music. Friendly staff. Perfect lighting. Great for date night or family outing, can be casual or elevated. Whatever you prefer. We had the pork bun, the meatballs, and the swordfish and South and chicken. All were perfectly executed.“

“We had a really wonderful time at Alba on 53. Our server Irina was truly so lovely. The restaurant is huge and bustling with a cool atmosphere and high ceilings so noise has a place to travel. Cocktails were great with nice pour. And our meal was delicious. The Mac and cheese side was some of the best we have had- it is not the typical Mac and cheese style which we loved. Light and flavorful cheese sauce that was not heavy or thick. Ribeye was cooked and seasoned properly and was a nice cut with good taste. The short rib gnocchi were awesome and definitely a comfort food vibe. Even the asparagus was cooked perfectly. For dessert we had the chocolate cake and it is definitely a show stopper. Chocolatey and fudgey and a great way to end our meal here. Highly recommend.“
