“Finding myself hungry in South Boston, I Googled vegan near me" and found Lulu Green. Well, one of my cats is named Lulu, so there I went. Little did I know how delicious the food is there. The vegan hot honey "chicken" sandwich was by far the best sandwich I've had in my entire life, so good that I immediately ordered another. Isn't that what one does when one gets the best sandwich ever? If "awesome" weren't so overused a word that it has lost any semblance of its original meaning, I would use it to describe this sandwich. You know how, when you take a bite from some new dish and you get hit with the sensation of something so delicious you just have to sit back in your seat and wish space-time would move more slowly just so you can savor the flavor longer? That's what eating this sandwich was like. It has a pesto ranch dressing and pickles that taste better than any pickles one might reasonably expect to exist in the known universe-- and I don't even particularly like pickles. Seriously, this sandwich will make you throb with ecstasy. Also, anyone who thinks vegan cheese can't be good hasn't tried its pesto pizza. I would also be remiss if I didn't mention the friendly service.“

“The BEST poke in Boston, period! I have tried all of them in the area and always left hungry and disappointed for the same reason, 90% of the bowl is rice with a few pieces of fish. This place is different. The bowl has a generous amount of fresh, high quality fish, reasonable amount of rice and other ingredients that make the bowl coherent in flavor. The tea quality is great (especially the Hong Kong milk tea - seriously delicious!), and they put plenty of boba (that is chewy and fresh!) in each order. The staff are also very kind and efficient, and if you order multiple teas, will pack them perfectly in a cute reusable bag with straws inside. My only other wish for this place is that I so wish they had matcha, which is my favorite flavor and go-to tea, but the quality here is so superior I’ve been willing to switch flavors most of the time to come here!“

“WOW! This place is incredible. Very popular but still has hole in the wall vibes. My parents and I make crepes at home (nothing beats homemade) but these blew us away. There are so many menu options, all delicious and with unexpected fillings, I had a hard time choosing. Ultimately got the John Gouda man with extra goat cheese and mushrooms, and they were VERY generous with the fillings. Omg, I dream about this combo and I imagine the others are just as good. My mom got the half baked- equally impressed. Hers was a bit less stuffed than mine. Dad got a make your own with parsley infused crepe, which I'll admit it also hit the spot. Overall, crepe texture is thick and stretchy (unlike our homemade ones) and Creperie might just become a regular spot for us. We also got the Ruth bader cinnsburg, but i found it wasn't cinnamonny enough. Unsure if I'd get it again- would be perfect with a sprinkling of cinnamon sugar. Inside, the cafe is very small and not the cleanest, there aren't many places to sit and you're lucky to catch a spot. They were also low on utensils (no knives the entire time we were there). But, love, will be returning!“

“I stopped by one afternoon after going to the gym and wanted to enjoy something refreshing. I decided to go with a mixed bowl, with half pitaya base and half mango. I personally love pitaya and I now have a love for the mango base. I was not sure if getting two bases in one bowl already had specific toppings but I added the fruits and nutella that I wanted. When I received the bowl, I noticed it had toppings that I did not order such as the walnuts, chocolate, and peanut butter. I had been wondering why my bowl came up to $20+ but I did not want to make an issue out of it. I enjoyed my bowl but in the back of my mind, I was wondering how badly the extra surprise toppings could affect someone who may be allergic to say, the peanut butter, or walnuts?“
