“This is a great place to eat breakfast - and there are not enough places like this one in the Boston area!A big plus is the fact that they serve fresh and amazing pita bread. It is quite expensive, and some of the dishes are too small for their price. The shakshuka is big and great, but the salad of the labaneh and beets for example is really small and has just several small cubes of beets. (The labaneh itself was very good).“
“Food I'll come back for! You order at the door, so best to check the menu before coming in, to make sure you get seated the quickest. They'll serve your food after the order. The food and drinks were ?? They do have the cold pressed drinks in bottles. So if you're eating in, maybe skip them. We had the Spicy Peanut Noodles, The Adventurer Bowl, Elote Avacado Salad and and drink Frozen Mochaccno, Orange Blossom Cold Press and Ginger Crush. They were the best.Vegetarian options: All Vegetarian, killer food!Dietary restrictions: Would accomedate any dietary restrictions. All option clearly marked on the menu.“
“Finding myself hungry in South Boston, I Googled vegan near me" and found Lulu Green. Well, one of my cats is named Lulu, so there I went. Little did I know how delicious the food is there. The vegan hot honey "chicken" sandwich was by far the best sandwich I've had in my entire life, so good that I immediately ordered another. Isn't that what one does when one gets the best sandwich ever? If "awesome" weren't so overused a word that it has lost any semblance of its original meaning, I would use it to describe this sandwich. You know how, when you take a bite from some new dish and you get hit with the sensation of something so delicious you just have to sit back in your seat and wish space-time would move more slowly just so you can savor the flavor longer? That's what eating this sandwich was like. It has a pesto ranch dressing and pickles that taste better than any pickles one might reasonably expect to exist in the known universe-- and I don't even particularly like pickles. Seriously, this sandwich will make you throb with ecstasy. Also, anyone who thinks vegan cheese can't be good hasn't tried its pesto pizza. I would also be remiss if I didn't mention the friendly service.“
“I decided to do a 14 day fast with just juicing and boy this place was the best. Everything fresh. This place is no joke. As far as smoothies African Queen and Banana Bread will blow your mind. Don’t mind me try em all! Definitely a place to kickstart a healthier lifestyle. This place is an 8th wonder, and I will never stop coming here.“
“Love this place and the owners, Rosemary and Hydn! They are welcoming and have a fun assortment of fabulous nutritious drinks, smoothies, and snacks. Kids are welcome too and can even get their own special small drink. So happy to have them in the neighborhood!“
“When in Boston you must come here! The service here is amazing and the coffee is always brewed to perfection! The thing i like best is the owner Marilda really loves what she does and it shows! Her love for the business and the way it’s run shows in the baristas she hires. Such pleasant people!“
“Energize is my all time favorite place to eat healthy and feel my best! Everything on their menu is plant-based, organic, and DELICIOUS -- I order something different every time and am delighted with my choice! And above all, the people who work at Energize make the atmosphere incredibly welcoming, they even know my name! LOVE THIS PLACE!!!“
“I come here at least two days a week. Their smoothie bowls are fantastic! The service is quick, and the people that work there are really nice! One time I dropped my bowl, just as I was leaving and they made me one immediately. The service could not be better! Highly recommend.“
“i had the opportunity to try energize today for the first time today and the bowl was made so good I recommend to those if you are looking for something healthy and refreshing i spend about 20$ for just me which in today economy is the same as eating junk food might as well spend the same amount amount on some food that will be good for you 10/10“
“All of the drinks here are fantastic. The halo-halo was a little too sweet, but I think you can ask for less sugar. I had a mushroom sandwich which was so full of flavor. I will definitely return to try more items. The cafe is also nice for reading. I brought my laptop and was able to do some work.“
“My husband and I recently embarked on a transformative 3-day cleanse with Cocobeet, and I must say, it was an absolutely amazing experience. So we were captivated by everything about the company, from its incredible food to its outstanding owner, Onur.Speaking of Onur, he went above and beyond to make our cleanse journey truly special. Not only did he personally deliver the cleanse to us, but he also thoughtfully included a few items for our 3-year-old daughter, Sunny, so she could feel included. This gesture made us feel incredibly valued.I was beyond thrilled to undertake the cleanse, and I was delighted when my husband decided to join me, despite his initial apprehension and nervousness. He loves food and dislikes feeling hungry. However, he soon realized that by following the cleanse schedule and staying hydrated with water in between, hunger was not an issue. During the cleanse, I opted for a powerful combination of the Reroot and Plant Packed cleanse, while my husband found success with the Transition and Reroot cleanse. We were both pleasantly surprised by the level of focus and mental clarity we experienced during the cleanse. It's truly remarkable how much we were able to accomplish, both physically and mentally, in just a few days. We even incorporated light workouts into our cleanse routine, further enhancing the overall benefits. Not only did we both achieve weight loss during the cleanse, but we also felt an immense sense of accomplishment. I lost 5.3 pounds and my husband lost 10 pounds in just 3 days! The thought of returning to our previous eating habits after experiencing the positive effects of the cleanse is simply unthinkable. We are now dedicated to moving forward and nourishing our bodies with only the best, embracing a lifestyle of greatness. Some items that brought us joy during the cleanse: Topping the list is the incredible chocolate mylk, which is not only rich and delicious but also leaves us questioning how something so indulgent can be so healthy. Even our 3 year old daughter, Sunny loves it! The royal basil smoothie quickly became a personal favorite for me with its refreshing taste. The black rose drink never failed to astonish our taste buds with its light and refreshing nature, making it a delight to consume. The heartbeet booster always provided the energy we needed for great workouts and productive days. The dr turmeric booster surprised us with its tasty flavor and gentle kick. And how can we forget the top-tier vegan Caesar crunch salad? The crunchy vegan cheese crumbles, sun-dried tomatoes, and capers made every bite a delight! In summary, Cocobeet deserves a perfect 10/10 rating. It offers a healthy, organic, and refreshingly transformative experience that we highly recommend. Thank you, Cocobeet, for providing us with an exceptional journey towards wellness and nourishment. You truly are amazing! Here’s a pic of our completed cleanse!“
“My favorite family breakfast spot in the heart of Roxbury, always a vibe always great food always love!!! The best coffee in Boston by the way!!! Service is excellent friendly warm, and kind!!! Be there tomorrow morning... sincerely Blue... find me on IG @bluebossMvt“
“Came here early in the morning, got quick, polite and friendly service. I got a classic breakfast sandwich with bacon - 8/10 recommend (not quite enough bacon for my taste). Also got a hot latte that I enjoyed. Staff was very nice and happy to give recommendations and advice.“
“I got the Caribbean Sun as a quick choice since I had to run and tutor. I’m glad I did because the kick from the ginger is just what I needed. I also bought raw cashews, which came in handy the next day. I can’t wait to go back and try more!“
“This review is long overdue - I basically *live* at this place - easily get about 7+ orders here a week. When trying to eat enough greens and veggies, etc. I find it's easy to throw away a lot of produce / generate a lot of food waste and I find the prices to be reasonable for the high-quality food that you get in the right proportions. The salads are enormous and when I compare the cost of all the ingredients if I were to buy it all myself. I'm a recent cancer survivor so eating as healthy as possible is critical and this place is just awesome. Also, the people that work here are *the best*! If I ever move, I think I'll miss this place the most! Thanks for having a great place with truly healthy food alternatives!“
“Food is SO TASTY. So delicious. There's a huge DIY bowl station to customize your meal. Vegan/Vegetarian options. Authentic hispanic beans mixed with a modern, healthy take, and they are so kind and patient while I asked what was what while ordering. Highly recommend making a bowl and the smoothies!Vegetarian options: Customizable food, easy to get exactly what you want.“
“Love the customer service, great Black owned Business. Nice Art on the Walls and health yet great options for something sweat. Love the Acai bowls and the drinks are something worth tryingVegetarian options: Most things are vegetarian by default like acai bowls, milkshakes and ice cream just because it would be werid if they had meat in it.Dietary restrictions: Non-dairy options great for those who can't have dairy“
“A decent refreshing stopover for boba drinks and light snacks.Amidst numerous boba options in Chinatown, Pin Ming might not top the charts. Nevertheless, I came here a couple times to try their drinks and food. Their regular boba toppings were mediocre as it lacked chewiness. On the other hand, the strawberry pearls stood out – these little sphere added an unexpected fruity sweetness that elevated some of their drinks.I also got to try some of their food, Popcorn Chicken and Fried Shrimp. Over-seasoned and quite salty, Popcorn chicken was a bit of a letdown. But the shrimp was a surprisingly good deal. Its batter was basic but perfectly crispy, and the shrimp was moist and creamy. In Chinatown’s boba scene, Pin Ming might be at the lower end of the spectrum, but if you’re in a mood for some good snacks and decent drinks, Ping Ming might be a good choice.“
“From the warm ambiance to the impeccable service, every visit is a delightful experience. The staff's professionalism and warmth create a welcoming atmosphere. The diverse menu features expertly crafted dishes with fresh, high-quality ingredients. What sets this cafe apart is its commitment to accommodating dietary needs. The presentation of each dish is artful, and the cozy decor adds to the charm. Whether for a business meeting or a casual catch-up, Kneeland Cafe exceeds expectations. A top-rated gem in the city!“
“Tried this for the first time when they came to a local 5K run and have been thinking about it ever since. Got the Pura Vida and it has acai, granola, strawberry, blueberries and honey. This hits the spot as it's not very sweet but just the perfect amount of sweetness where you can still taste slight tartness in the strawberries. Their base is not sweet like many other places. Tastes very light and feels healthy even after eating the whole bowl. The staff were very friendly, polite and didn't rush you to order. Inside has a few seatings and was very clean.“
“Overall rating: 4 Stars A solid banh mi spot but not the top PRO TIP: ONLY BANH MI SPOT I'VE FOUND SO FAR THAT DOES TOFU/VEGAN BANH MIFood: banh mi, baos, eggrolls, and vietnamese coffeeTexture: banh mi, the baguettes were fresh and crispy the pickled vegetables gave a nice crunch as well! Pricing: the banh mi here are on the steeper side going for $9 but it's probably due to being in the middle of Boston! A vietnamese coffee is $6Ambiance: The ambiance is unique, it's a mixture of a bunch of refurbished decor my friends and I find it funny when we see the American/pirate tablesSeating & Parking: 2 seats by the wall facing the banh mi counter and 4 seats to the left by the window, there is no parkingService: straight forward, may have a language barrier but the ladies there are kindMusic: noneBathroom: noneFinal comments: solid banh mi spot for lunch, fast service“
“Not sure what I love more their espresso or food - only reason I rated it 4 stars instead of 5 is because I wish they opened an hour earlier so I could get something on my way into the office. An espresso, smoothie, bagel, etc. would be the perfect way to start my day.“
“Great service and great food. Over priced for sure but when I want a treat without all the guilt of a sugar packed or processed treat, this is the spot. Nice and fast staff. The inside was pretty spacious as well. There happened to be a couple spots on the street for parking but I’m sure on the weekend or at night it’s impossible to find parking“
“This shop is always lively. It's busy but the service run smoothly. I always grab the dragonfly. It's milke tea, Redbean, Grass jelly and pearls. It's like $5 a drink. There alot of table games to kill time too. Definitely, worth a try“
“Considering this is a health food type place, the food wasn't the worst. Prices were low but portions were small. My friend got the avocado toast which was salty and small. The hash was good though in my opinion. The breakfast sandwich was ok.Service wasn't amazing even though we were there before the morning rush but not bad. Overall ok, I would recommend for the vibe only.“
“Very special place suitable for everyone. The peculiarity of this activity is the possibility for students or workers to sit with their computer or notebook and study in peace or work. Very helpful and friendly staff. Venue with plenty of seating. Good hot chocolate and coffee. Highly recommendedKid-friendliness: YesWheelchair accessibility: No architectural barriers“
“We were welcomed in and they made excellent suggestions me and my son home from college. Also I left my wallet behind ( never happened to me in 56years) They had it for me with a smile and over $400 cash. Left a nice tip and I thanked them , I told the I would leave a review. Genuinely nice people work hereThe coffee drinks were amazing. Go there it's right behind Pho Hoa same bldg very nice space .“
“Great quick salads and healthy shakes, I wish they had more options for protein and creatine, not too many places to choose from on Newbury so this will do. Staff is nice and polite. I Order the Ginger Green, also they only have one size, med average cup, the taste wasn't bad but not delicious. 7.6 out of 10 for taste.“
“I usually go to Cocoleaf in Dorchester, but this is closer to where I was that day. The staff were all nice and helpful, the Che were all very sweet for my tastes and the fruits were all canned fruits. I love their drink menu, but I think I still prefer the Dorchester location.“
“Love this little place! They have juices, smoothies, and an AMAZING avocado toast. They have the best fruit for sale too. I LOVE buying avocados here! They are huge and perfectly ripe. The staff is friendly and helpful. Definitely a little gem in Eastie.“
“My wife and I enjoyed breakfast on a lazy January Saturday morning at the Hilton. Arriving at 0930, we found only a few tables occupied when we were seated. Our table faced out large windows towards the front of the hotel. Sadly, there is no view of any aircraft at the airport. Our server promptly took our drink order; decaf coffee for my wife and pineapple juice fit me, yeah. I struggled to select from several good options on their one-page menu, settling on an omelet. My wife chose eggs benedict. It wasn't long before our food arrived. While waiting, we planned our attack for the day in Boston, enjoying the 80s music piped in. My omelet filled half the plate. I asked for all the options in my omelet and enjoyed it. The side of fruit was tasty, especially the pineapple. It also came with a choice of bread, sourdough for me please. The eggs benedict looked and tasted great. The English muffins were flat, more like a crumpet, which was nice. My wife would have liked to get the fruit side before the hot dish if that was an option Service was attentive and pleasant the entire time. Prices were a little on the high side, but our food credit helped negate that.“
“There are a great selection of smoothies and service is quick. Very tight inside so I suggest ordering ahead of time online. I do wish they would add some ice to keep the smoothies more chilled and less watery, and i wish they weren't so expensive! I went back to making my own at home :)“
“Happy Lemon made me very happy during my jury service. This location is in the Corner Mall food court which for me was a pro as the location was convenient. My go to order was the mango slushy with boba. My slushy was blended with lemon pulp which was tart initially but complemented the sweetness of the drink. The boba was really good majority of the time. There's only one size but it is really tall and filling. I definitely recommend if you are in the area.“
“I can't believe I waited so long to try Mother Juice! I was craving a smoothie and decided to finally give it a try.I was intrigued by some of the odd smoothie options, and I was most intrigued by the Blueberry Muffin one, so I decided to order this one. It actually sort of tasted like a blueberry muffin in a smoothie form. It's definitely more on the grainy side with the almond butter, oats, pea protein, and cinnamon, but it is actually well-balanced with the flavors of the banana, blueberry, and orange. I probably won't get this again because I don't typically go for grainy smoothies, but I'm excited to try the other smoothies!I initially just came in for a smoothie, but I was so intrigued by the taco bowl with vegan queso, that I had to order that, too. The walnut taco meat was definitely a standout. I've never had plant-based meat made out of walnuts, but the texture and seasoning on it made it so delicious. The vegan queso was also delicious and blended all the vegetables together so well. The cashier was very nice, too! Can't wait to come back!“
“Love the variety of teas here - there is something for everyone! I brought two friends who had never had boba before and they were nervous they wouldn't like it, but they were able to find something they loved. Very quick service as well, definitely one of my favorite places for boba in the area“
“C Fruit Life is seriously the spot for dessert lovers! I recently tried their bingsoo, and oh my, it was like eating a fluffy cloud. I went for the mango bingsoo, and it was bursting with real mango flavor. You can totally tell they use top-notch ingredients.Their black sesame ice cream? Unreal. Packed with sesame seeds, it's like a flavor explosion in your mouth. Seriously, the best ice cream ever.Oh, and don't even get me started on their mango-wrapped crepe with whipped cream. It was just as tasty as it sounds. But here's the kicker - it's crazy affordable. I mean, $8 for a bingsoo that can easily feed three? That's a steal!I'm already planning my next trip because there's so much more on their menu I want to try. If you're after delicious desserts that won't break the bank, you've gotta check out C Fruit Life. Trust me, you won't regret it!“
