“Somehow, every time I’ve come here we’ve been able to be seated immediately even though it’s packed with people! Parla is a great place to take people; the ambiance and atmosphere speaks for itself.I took my mom and her friends here to roll the die and get surprise drinks: they loved it. We also ordered the cinnamon sugar beignets and they were so fresh and delicious!Every time I visit Boston, I make it a point to stop at Parla. The game is fun, the drinks are reasonably priced, and it’s a unique place to hangout!“

“What a lovely restaurant. The outside is swagger with flowers around the door, very much like cafes in Paris. The food was spectacular. We had oysters and shrimp, shepherd’s pie, beetroot and blood orange salad, homemade tagliatelle bolognese and a spicy lobster pasta dish. Desserts are inventive and delicious. We got a banana sundae, a combination of bananas foster with banana bread and ice cream. The cocktails are beautiful. Different and cool with fun names. There are two bars in a lovely cozy setting of white lights, windows and hardwood floors. Definitely will be back.“

“Viale is amazing! We had a large party and had to add a couple of people at the last minute on a busy Friday night and they were very accommodating. Additionally, our server was very friendly and helpful and made the experience even better. The food was also very good; I would especially recommend everyone try to arancini appetizer.“

“In my partner's words: "It became my favorite restaurant in the entire state".I couldn't believe that each one of the small plates we tried (Spanish style tapas) was excellent!! You can't go wrong with anything in that menu. We tried the Local Farm Corn Soup, Uruguayan Style Beef Empanada, Wood Grilled Poussin Chicken, Wild Mushrooms in Escabeche, and the Wood Grilled Pork Sausage. I'm not hyperbolizing when I say this is the best chicken I ever had. ...Cherry on top, cocktails are excellent (try the Fig Infused Bourbon Old Fashioned) and the Alfajores where delicious. ?Give it a try, you won't regret it ?“

“Wow. Wow. Wow. Honestly blew us away. I’m a classic pizza person however, we went for the ramen pizza and I have zero regrets. Amazing food. Amazing atmosphere. Insanely wonderful service. If you go, and he’s available, ask for Danni. He will give you the most honest recommendations while also making you feel right at home. A truly wonderful experience.“

“Very nice atmosphere and service. Lots of Tapas options including a large vegetarian section. There is a nice bar downstairs. We had a fantastic experience overall. They close at 10pm but we stayed till nearly half past ten without getting kicked out (we didn’t realise until we saw them cleaning all the tables etc).“

“Kushala Sip Coffee House is a beautiful, clean spot offering a great selection of food and beverages. I ordered a hot Café Latte and a Spanish omelette, and both exceeded expectations. The latte came in a generous glass mug, while the omelette was perfection with layers of thinly sliced potato. The ambiance was serene, with other patrons enjoying their Sunday morning over relaxing bossa nova music. A perfect place to unwind and enjoy quality food and drink. Highly recommend! It’s so nice to see that Chelsea is finally Gentrifying.“

“At Barcelona and it has been amazing. I visit the Atlanta location often but they do not have Elizabeth. Found out that the company trained her for a Manager role and I think it was the best decision they could have made. She should write a book on the service industry and how to do it right. I am thankful for the experience and her time at this location. #winebar #goodservice #boston #bostonfoodies #bostonstrong“

“Got no pics for this as everything was too good to stop and snap a pic. But just know, you should go here if you want a slightly more unique dining experience in Boston. Sit at the bar for the full experience, as the bartenders are very helpful/knowledgeable. It's a cocktail bar with amazing drinks but don't sleep on the food. It's the real deal. Salmon crudo was incredible, perfect amount of tartness. Braised lamb parpaldelle was delicious as expected, and the carbonara I believe is one of the best around. Highly recommend this spot.“

“We were a party of 11 for a graduation dinner and tried everything from oysters and clams through halibut to paella. Service was personable and non-invasive, the ambiance was great, the food and presentation were excellent and the price was reasonable (for a Boston seafood restaurant). Very happy about our choice!“

“Highly recommended!!We teleport to a typical Spanish tavern. We ordered the Gambias al ajillo, the potato omelette, a plate of ham cut with a knife at the moment and a black fideuá. Everything spectacular. We accompany it with some cocktails and finish with a homemade cheesecake. We will be back.Vegetarian options: They have vegetarian croquettes, they have hummus, vegetable paella, garlic mushrooms, bravas potatoes, aioli potatoes, potato omelette...I think I'm forgetting something, but there is a great variety of vegetarian dishes.Parking: They have a parking lot at the back of the restaurant.“

“Delicious! Came for brunch and did the three pigs (bacon, breakfast sausage, andouille sausage), bootleg Benedict (with crab and lobster), and strawberry crème fraiche pancakes -- 2 people split everything. Reasonably priced (for Boston) and really wonderful. Will return many times.“

“Fantastic experience with our server Loraine. Our party of 4 opted to try their classic tapas style dining for $55 per person. WOW. We left so full and satisfied! This is the best way to try several classic dishes, the seafood paella and churros. All of the dishes were excellent and their potatoes were honestly the best potatoes I’ve ever had. Perfectly crispy. We will absolutely be back!“

“I recently stumbled into Pagu on a particularly rainy day in Boston (you know, one of those sideway rainstorm days). Covered in mud, I snagged one of the last bar seats available. Opting for my usuals - roasted mushrooms and ramen - I paired them with a glass of wine and a good book, enjoying the restaurant's laid-back atmosphere. To my surprise, Chef/Owner Tracy Chang had hand delivered my dinner! Her radiant smile alone was enough to brighten up an otherwise atrocious day for me. Chang's innovative approach to dining shines through in every dish, prioritizing creativity and kindness - a sentiment echoed by the attentive staff at Pagu. It's no wonder that Pagu remains a cornerstone of Central Square.“

“Menu is creative & very good with fresh ingredients & complex flavors. Vegetarian tapas were outstanding. I enjoyed my mahi mahi immensely and my son & partner enjoyed their pork assada which gave them each enough to take home for leftover! Mojitos (I had the ginger one) were especially yummy. The only reason my rating isn't higher is ambiance-- we were seated in the back room & though it is lovely, it was very cold in there & VERY loud. At one point, my noise meter on my Apple Watch went off to warn me that the noise was at 90 decibels, which at 30 minutes of exposure, could cause hearing damage. Not sure what the solution is as I know it was a crowded spot (you definitely need reservations- and rather far in advance at that), as the ceiling is very high which makes the noise carry. But it was very hard to have a conversation without yelling & that made the whole experience less positive.“

“Visiting Boston and came as here was recommended by local. It’s a great place to visit. Food is great, had the best bone marrow, and the foie gras is definitely recommendable. service is busy but good, atmosphere is great. The only thing is it was freezing and we both got sick. The backyard outdoor patio is still freezing though there are Mr heaters near the wall outlets. The heat wasn’t strong enough at all to cover the area. Would only go again if got in door seating in winter.“

“Great place for craft cocktails, service on the main floor was way better than the one downstairs at the Piano Bar. My salmon was overcooked and dry, so I didn’t enjoy it all. The seats downstairs at the Piano bar were very uncomfortable and it was really hard to enjoy the music.“

“We had some apps and drinks here. The food was very tasty and came out very quickly, and the different margaritas we tried were good. The size of the plates were a bit small for the price or to split and the service was a little slow, but overall a good spot in Medford center.“

“The food was amazing. We couldn’t stop ordering more plates. The scallop appetizer was so refreshing and delicious! They also have a shrimp weekend special that was just packed full of flavor. My husband had the Birria taco dish and I had to fight him to a bite. The mezcal drinks were also done very well, we loved it. Before we left, the owner gave us two shots on the house because she knew we were from out of town. This was such a great dining experience, highly recommend!!“

“Hearty, filling, delicious New Orleans-style grub. Been here a few times, mostly for brunch. The classic biscuits are amazing - they come with both pimento cheese spread & cinnamon butter. The biscuits & gravy are great, too. Additional standouts are the cast iron baked Brie, the beignets, the wagyu burger sliders, pancakes, french toast, and low country scramble (spicy). If you’re into mimosas, they do a “soft serve mimosa” which is Prosecco paired with their daily sorbet, served in a delightful swirl. You’ll have to go back more than once if you want the room in your stomach to sample all of these dishes!!Service has been great every time. Over the last 1.5 years, have noticed a good amount of the same staff, which is always encouraging.“
“I went here for the Saturday hot chocolate experience. It was very confusing and disorganized to figure out how to get seated. We were waiting in a cluster/line but there was no host to facilitate the seating. I think it was self seating? And then the service was very very slow. The interior was gorgeous and the hot coco was cute and fun. I think if they were more well staffed this experience would have been better.“

“The food is of high quality and relatively large portions for tapas. For example the garlic shrimp included about twelve or more medium shrimp. My partner loved the meatballs and croquettes and tortilla. The menu included seasonal specials. Our server was always there when needed but not intrusive. Altogether very enjoyable.“

“Little Donkey is an absolute gem. We were there for first seating at 10:30 am on a Sunday. Glad we had a reservation since they were very busy and tables we blocked off by 11:20. Our dishes were delicious and came out pretty quickly. Someone at our table had a nut allergy and every dish was brought out with a clearance of the allergy so that incase she wanted to try other dishes, she knew what was safe. The salmon and Tuna Tartar is delicious, but unbelievably small and honestly not worth the $19. We ordered it to hold us over while waiting for friends who were running behind. It is bare 4 actual bites. We learned from our waiter that most of the items we initially wanted were tiny. This is a really cute spot with an open kitchen which is cool to look into, and the bar tender is great at creating new drink concoctions.“

“I always read over the yelp reviews fairly carefully to get help in deciding what to order and was disappointed to see how many negative reviews there were.I have been to Savino’s maybe 2 or 3 times a year for many years and I’m always quite pleased and very satisfied with both the service and the food. I’m also impressed that whenever I’ve asked for something to be done a little differently or for a substitute it’s been done gracefully and without an extra charge. For example I love their mushroom risotto (I asked for some extra garlic and Parmesan cheese) and so I usually order that instead of potatoes or regular rice, and it makes the meal really outstanding for me. My friend and I both had the vegetable mushroom soup which was delicious and I had the panko topped tilapia which I thought was excellent. Not at all greasy and very tender and tasty.I only have two small recommendations : one, that the water be colder and include some ice (this was not a problem since I asked for a glass of ice and got it quickly) and two that there be some salt & pepper on the table even though the food is usually nicely seasoned. The restaurant was quiet, which is also a plus and when I did hear the music, it was very pleasant and calming musicI suggest that you give it a try“

“The food is over-the-top good. I love the menu very eclectic, I enjoy they have small plates as well as large plates. Like the place so much and taking my wife there for our anniversary tonight. Highly recommend the pasta. Don't think there's anything that you can order that you won't love.“

“Almost perfect. Really cute lil spot in Southie. Can’t seem to decide if they want to commit to being upscale or not. Certainly priced at the higher range. The food and cocktails (mostly) live up to the price, but feels like service and decor don’t quite match up. Would love it if Petula’s was a bit more affordable to make it a regular go-to spot, but for now it remains a worthwhile indulgence.Vegetarian options: Great for pescatarian. Veggie options, but not a lot well balanced with protein.“

“Food is very good and drinks are great but overall extremely noisy, crowded, and even with a reservation you can expect to be seated 40-45 min after the originally planned time. The place turns into a club vibe with louder bumping music at around 9:30 or 10. Legit wore ear plugs to protect my ears LmaoOrdered patatas paella empanadas and ricotta. Definitely dont miss out of the ricotta. That was the highlight of the night“

“I'm at the Logan Airport Vineyard Grille. Laurie, the bartender, makes this airport bar feel like a local pub. The Bloody Mary's at a tad expensive. $14.95, but delicious! The food looks good, but after 4 olives and 2 stalks of celery in my drinks, I'm not hungry!“

“I gave it 4 stars because of the location. - This came up for "Older crowd" in Boston. I can assure you, after being there several times, its very very young(21-25yrs) - about 80% of the people. Getting a drink is exactly what you expect with this crowd. Not easy especially on nice days. People working seemed to be pleasant and hustling though!“

“A very detailed review from someone who has eaten a lot of tapas!Outstanding bartender! I’ve been a bit disappointed lately when I go into high-end cocktail bars, and they don’t have ingredients I need for making my favorite drinks. Not only was this bartender excellent and knowledgeable, but as I was naming my favorite drink, he knew it, and he loved it as well. I ordered off the menu though, and enjoyed the “kitty’s got claws” because I am a big Mezcal fan and it looked interesting. It was beautifully balanced. Then I saw him making what I thought was a corpse reviver, and we talked a bit about that, and I was thrilled that he knew how to make one, so as I watched him making one for somebody else. I ordered it as my second drink. I know I’m supposed to be reviewing the food, and I will get to that, but a quality bartender, who is interesting and fun, and above all… Knowledgeable, is a very big part of an experience that has a full bar. Bravo, to this bartender! I only wish I remembered his name.On to the food. Interesting interpretation of tapas. Especially the cabbage, which was different than any presentation I have had before. A large piece, braised perfectly, with a creamy sauce. Patatas bravas were an interesting take as well. Often they are either too small with a bit of sauce smothered on them or they are too big and only spiced a little bit. These were a great size and they were seasoned, but did not have any sauce on them, which is wonderful. And then there was some romesco sauce (made of tomatoes and roasted red peppers, and usually almonds) on the side; a really great interpretation of this classic Spanish dish. (Note that a typical bravas sauce has smoked paprika and tomato paste) and I really enjoyed the romesco as a nice change. We also had a lamb slider, which was big enough for lunch for one person. So keep that in mind when ordering. It was actually halfway between the size of a slider and a regular burger. Also, the homemade focaccia was very fluffy! The rosemary butter is a good compliment.Atmosphere is cute. Loud and bustling and definitely not the type of place that is quiet and you can hear the forks clinking. Really great vibe. Wonderful neighborhood place. We lived in JP for years and raised our kids here and it was great to come back and see this new (to us!) restaurant in the neighborhood.“
