“Decided to go out for dinner with a few friends and it was delicious. I liked the citrus dressing on the avocado salad. The filet mignon was tender and flavorful. For dessert, green tea ice cream is a must!“

“From start to finish it was amazing. The drinks and food were delicious. Atmosphere was so unique and you felt like you were truly in another place. The bartender we had was so different than anyone we've ever met. His food and drink recommendations were spot on.“

“I used to go here years ago for their bulgogi tacos, quesadilla, and kimchi fries and have never been able to find the time to go. I went the other day to get kimchi fries before work and I am so glad I did! It's a tiny spot for mostly takeout and I ordered kimchi fries with bulgogi. When I went to pickup my food they told me they accidentally made it with spicy pork so I could either keep the pork or they would remake it. They were very nice about it but I was fine with spicy pork and they ended up giving me both spicy pork and beef. I don't know why I haven't gotten these more these past few years because they are still as amazing as they were years ago. Hot fries with kimchi, bulgogi, different sauces and a runny egg on top. One of the best meals and it was $13!“

“Wheelchair accessibility: First floor with a slightly narrow doorway/entrance. They have a ramp in and no stairs/not high door jam. Low tables so no worries about that. The bathroom is not wheelchair accessible unless you have someone with you for transfer.“

“If you want standard American Chinese food then order off the lunch special menu. If you want authentic Chinese food you must order off the dinner menu. They are a Szechuan restaurant so I would recommend ordering dishes like the peppercorn chicken or the Szechuan beef. Szechuan string beans are also really good.“

“Just got done with my dinner from these folks and all I can say is..WOW!Walked in and my order came out nice and hot and on time. Friendly service for starters.I ordered the rangoons and sweet/sour chicken. My lord it was tasty.I am a cook and really have grown tired of some mediocre establishments in this areaSo many Asian places round these parts use frozen/premade items and you can always tell. It’s time for a change I sayHere it’s all fresh and made from the heart.Rangoons came with a nice dipping sauce that is miles better than the usual fair. The size is just right. Too many places serve overly greasy ones filled with mostly cream cheese. This has all the goods.A healthy dose of chicken came w my other orderAlong with perfectly cooked rice and veggies w the dish. Nice balance of flavors here.Their crispy chicken is so tender and GODLY. No I’m not kidding.I’m new to Thai food, so I’ll certainly be trying their traditional dishes in the future. But I also now have my new comfort order.I believe the prices are more fair for take out considering this is all cooked from scratch. The place is small, yet has a wonderful inviting atmosphere. I’ll certainly have a sit down lunch one day. Will be adding pictures of subsequent orders too!Until next time. Well done to the chef and staff ?“

“Dinner tonight was takeout from Khao Hom, eaten in my car while my kid was at practice for 3 hours. The restaurant has 6 or 7 tables for eat in dining. TIP from the restaurant, If you order online order through TOAST, it is cheaper than order through the restaurant website. Seems crazy, buts it's true. I ordered Pad See Ew with chicken. It was delicious, piping hot and loaded with chicken and veggies. This place will be in the rotation for nights I draw the short straw and have to take the kid to practice.“

“Never too packed, great service, drinks, and a low-key atmosphere. Go alone or with friends, you'll enjoy it either way!Vegetarian options: Vegetarian broths are available...the tomato broth is a little sweet, but good, and the mushroom broth is a newfound favorite! There are also veggie and different types of tofu options too.“

“I've been to all the Boston locations and this is my absolute favorite location. My boyfriend and I try to get in once a week when we can. Every time we go the staff are so cute and friendly. We always get the split pot as I am obsessed with the tomato broth and he is obsessed with the spicy broth. The beef is beefin'. We get a minimum of 4 plates of beef to start. So much beefy goodness in those really thin slices. You get a variety of veggies and proteins from the buffet line. When we eat at a different hot pot place I feel like I am betraying happy lamb. This location is the best.“

“This is such a wonderful addition to the halal food scene in Boston! This restaurant is tucked away, in a small Asian food court, and is a hidden gem! The food portions are large, and each entree is fresh and packed with a bunch of flavor (and “spicy” is actually spicy here, haha). We ordered the Spicy Beef Noodles, Samsa, and Chicken entrees and they were wonderful! We will definitely be coming back soon!!!“

We ordered Avocado salad, volcano Maki, with a fabulous shitaKe mushroom topping and scorpion maki. Fresh food with a wonderful mix of spices. Can't wait to return next time I am in Boston.Andrea“

“I stumbled upon this place on my way home from work and wow. The sushi is some of the best I've had. Everything tasted fresh and great quality. Got the spicy tuna and yellow tail, tuna and salmon nigiri, and crunchy tuna maki. Absolutely would recommend anything on this menu.“

“This was my first visit to any Happy Lamb location. The meat selection and fish/veggie selection, I thought were pretty decent/sizable. I wasn’t a big fan of their spicy broth, not because of the spice level (yum) but because the broth had a granular texture which wasn’t pleasant. I was disappointed with their sauce station, it was incredibly limited as compared to other AYCE hot pot spots. The service and price of the meal overall was pretty decent.“

“Oh my goodness. I'm only halfway done and I feel I MUST rate this place right now! First, be aware of the hours. They are not open all hours of the day. But, wow, the red glazed pork is one of the most wonderfully divine foods I've put in my mouth! So hot, juicy and flavorful. I was offered to taste samples (the host was so very nice) of a few items, I wanted this, tasted this and immediately ordered. Served over a bed of white rice, the juices just soak in and every bite is an intense pleasure. Gosh, I sound hokey and made up. I'm being serious as a heart attack. To top it off, I added optional green beans and those were very delightful, too! Well cooked with a nice snap and awesome buttery flavor, they were the perfect topping to break up the pork nirvana. You can bet I'll be back. The hard part will be trying other dishes instead of just having this over and over.“

“I ordered pad thai and rice noodles. Of all the pho restaurants I've tried since coming to Boston, this was the most delicious and friendly. The staff’s delicacy and professionalism gave me a great sense of trust! I was disappointed that the Pad Thai noodles were a bit short, but the seasoning was just right and I ordered it with a fork and was satisfied with both the quantity and taste. The rice noodles also have less MSG flavor, are refreshing, and have quite a lot of meat. It had a clean rice noodle flavor, so it suited my taste ^^“
“Came here for the suasday pop up. The Cambodian Sandwiches were the feature event. Lemongrass Chicken, Kroeung Beef Curry , and Pandan Custard. Everything was delicious. Staff was friendly and helpful. The place is very clean.“

“From the delicious food to the friendly and attentive staff to the incredibly cool ambience, Karma is the place to dine at for a wonderful experience (especially if you have a gluten allergy like myself)! They have a completely separate gluten free menu and the staff are very knowledgeable of allergies. I ordered the spicy beef with a side of white rice and it vanished in no time at all! I can't wait to go back! 10/10 would recommend.“

“Delicious authentic noodles of all varieties, this restaurant is a hidden gem!! It’s take out only and NOT because of Covid, they simply do not have the workers to attend to the floor. It’s a shame to see negative reviews based solely on that. If you take the time to ask why the owner very kindly explains their struggle, and is very apologetic for the inconvenience. I would hate to see them lose business because they don’t have the help. I strongly recommend this restaurant, it will not disappoint. ^.^“

“Tried it while in the area based on Yelp reviews. Got the springs rolls and pan fried dumplings as appetizers. The spring rolls were okay not great. The pan fried dumplings were really good. for entrees we got the Vegetarian Delight, the Basil Chicken with eggplant in Garlic sauce, and Chicken in black bean sauce. The vegetables in the Delight were excellent, the sauce was one of those sort of Chinese American white sauces that I am not really a fan of but was still decent. The Basil chicken dish was quite tasty, really good sauce and the eggplant was really, really good. The chicken in black bean was a simple but excellent dish. The serving dishes might have seemed cool in concept but perhaps had a flaw in actual use because they seemed to have a tendency to easily overflow due to design that has weakness on either end. Simple order at the counter and they bring to your table in the small dining room. Seems to be primarily a take out place but the dining room was clean and the service to the table good. They checked in on us. Bathroom was nice and clean.“

“I just moved to town and have eaten at maybe 5 or 6 places, and this place is far and away my favorite. Best pad thai I've ever had, drinks are really good and cheap, and the atmosphere, at least on a Tues night, is really nice and quiet. Also, I am not sure why it's listed as 30-50, I got a mixed drink, a sushi roll, and pad Thai for <30, and they brought out wonton for free.Really happy with my meal! I look forward to sharing this place with friends.Update: Still my favorite spot.Vegetarian options: Great vegi options.“

“This was my first time trying this place. I did not go in person but rather had it delivered to me at work. I didn't know what to get but I made my decision based on existing Yelp pictures. I selected the red glazed pork bowl. When I read the description, I was turned off by the seasoned soy sauce (I'm normally not a fan of soy sauce) so I was very close to requesting for them not to add it but decided to leave it as is. The first observation I made was that the food was a bit greasy so definitely not something to eat if you're on a diet. But, the green beans were good; maybe just a minute or two over cooked. The rice was flavorful and plentiful for the portion of meat. The meat had so much flavor. It was tender, it literally pulled apart with very little effort. It was savory but also a minor sweet kick in the first few chews. I would try other meals on their menu. The price for this meal is reasonable. The portion looks small at first but it's actually quite filling and is packed with a lot of meat.“

“So good. Like going into Chinatown but with parking and good service ?2024 Update: This restaurant has been under new management (I believe it was sold to the previous owners god children) for a while now. Against all odds and expectations, it has gone from a really good spot to an even better, great restaurant. They have updated the menus, leaning harder into the authentic dishes that had set them apart, and brought an exciting energy. It's always bustling but never overwhelming. Welcoming and warm. It's so fun to watch old dishes that I loved get even better (ex. 3 cup tofu eggplant now has a smokey aspect that I didn't know I was missing) and to see the new owners make their mark. Thanks for bringing your passion, we are so proud of you and I am sure your god parents are too!“

“The food here is very good, the food is made to order and the service is very good. I prefer a lighter hand with less salt and cornstarch but I understand that their typical clientele expects a more experienced style. I appreciate fresh vegetables and beautiful service. Good value lunch specials with the option to upsize for just a few dollars.“

“genki ya is a must visit when in coolidge corner! this location is a lot smaller than the tremont st location, with only a handful of tables inside. however, the lack of space is made up by the extensive menu and delicious food! both my friend and i ordered their japanese curry, which was delicious on its own! both plates, although one with chicken and one vegetarian, had the same curry base, so the real difference is the protein/side to the meal, but it's delicious! the service was quick and efficient as well. their menu seems to have quite a few different vegetarian options that i'm curious about so i'll have to come back to try them out!“

“Really glad we found this place! Their food is very tasty! Their pricing is excellent compared to other places. Though they don’t have the crispy chicken pad thai, their regular pad thai hits the spot! It’s not too dry or greasy! We also love the triangle puffs! It’s our to go thai food now around the area!“

“Solid overall, with big, fresh specialty rolls and hot appetizers. But with minor dings: tiny bathroom in the back; repeated server difficulty understanding my requests; and price-points can be hard to track vs the value (quality + quantity). Neat option for this side of town.“

“The food was so good! I wish I took a picture before I ate it all. I tried the jerk pork with rice with djon djon. When I called to ask about food/recommendations, Juan was amazing! He asked if I like spicy and told me about the jerk pork. It was perfect. And he was helpful and nice. I won't order from some places, sad to say, because some are so rude and not helpful when you call an order in. And the staff here was friendly and said hello when I got there to get my food. I'll definitely go there again when I'm in that area.“

“I recommend for a party of 3+ and order Gamjatng. The soup is tasty, the pork bone with meat is very very soft. Pancake was the MVP for this meal. The spicy pork feet we ordered has a smell, avoid to eat skin, but the meat and taste recommend to order.“

“I had to come back and update my review -- Shine's has changed, and I think it's great. I hadn't been here since pre-COVID, but a few months ago my family decided to give it another try, and we've been back regularly ever since. The menu is almost completely different from what it was back in 2017: they are focused on authentic dishes, and doing it very well. I wish I'd come back sooner! The menu contains a lot of choices that aren't typical, but are very tasty. We particularly like the Rougamo sandwiches (listed on the menu as "burgers", but that's not exactly how I would describe them) and the "pancakes" (more like stuffed crepes, sort of), particularly the shredded potato pancakes. The soups are also excellent and unusual. And there are still areas of the menu we haven't explored at all. (I have no idea what "Toofy" is... guess I'll have to try it.) My only (minor) complaint is that you order at a kiosk (or online, for take-out) so you can't ask the waiter/waitress for any info/recommendations.“

“I got the soba noodle salad with kimchi, peanuts with their Gochujang chicken, topped off with their Spicy Peanut and the flavors were fantastic! Staff was also really nice and gave me some recommendations which were great! The location had multiple huge live plant walls that made the area looked awesome. Will definitely stop by again for lunch next time I am in the area.Kid-friendliness: brought my kid there asking if they had something for kids and they were able to throw together a kids bowl for my picky son that he absolutely loved!“
“We came across this quaint, stylish restaurant when seeking wonderful Japanese food with a hint of Asian flavor.Their curry beef and beef teriyaki are excellent. But the seafood noodle shocked us the most. It tasted great! Additionally, their boba tea made a fantastic aperitif.I am eager to return.“
