“Omg soooo good I want to come back and try all the vegan dishes and all the levels of spiciness. Gundruk Soup! Get it!Vegetable Mo Mo! Get it!Can't wait to come back for more. Great food, friendly service. Get ready for a flavor experience you will love.“
“Silk Road has become our family's go-to spot whenever we're craving something special. We've lost count of the number of times we've dined here, but every visit feels like a new adventure. We have tried almost everything on the menu and it never disappoints. And guess what? Our kids are totally into it too! Sure, some dishes can pack a bit of heat, but just give the server a heads up.The place is limited in space and they do not take reservations so sometimes it feels like a bit of a squeeze. But hey, that's part of the charm, right? Just be prepared for a bit of a tight squeeze, especially if you're rolling in with a big crew.Overall, Silk Road gets a big thumbs up from us. Whether you're a die-hard fan of Uyghur food or just looking for a fun family outing, this place won't disappoint.“
“I've been to all the Boston locations and this is my absolute favorite location. My boyfriend and I try to get in once a week when we can. Every time we go the staff are so cute and friendly. We always get the split pot as I am obsessed with the tomato broth and he is obsessed with the spicy broth. The beef is beefin'. We get a minimum of 4 plates of beef to start. So much beefy goodness in those really thin slices. You get a variety of veggies and proteins from the buffet line. When we eat at a different hot pot place I feel like I am betraying happy lamb. This location is the best.“
“We’ve been to the Brookline location before and now that we’ve been to the Harvard location we love both! We were running a little late due to parking and they were very accommodating. We had Sprite as our server and he was very helpful, attentive, friendly, and answered any questions we had. We ordered the meat lovers and loved it! We can’t wait to come back with more friends to try the all you can eat!“
“I went here in December 2022 and loved my experience here. I was able to find seating at the bar on a busy Friday night. I ordered 2 drinks - a bright blue cocktail and a hot pink one after. Both were delicious. The service was a bit slow because of how busy the restaurant was, but the bartender totally made it up to us by giving us free shooters! The shot was blue and sparkly and also amazing. Overall I really liked it here. I'm not sure if the bar is still open or if it's just an event space now, but I would go back to this bar.“
“Wow! This place is amazing. The food is good. The atmosphere is good, the price is good and the service is outstanding. I had a birthday dinner with my husband and it was the best. I am grateful for a wonderful dinner and friendly reception. A must go??“
“Stumbled upon this cozy Thai spot in Cambridge's Central Square! The interior is super intimate and it was empty when we got there but filled up! Definitely gives mom and pop vibes and I liked that it wasn't crazy inside. For food, we ordered papaya salad, tom yum soup, and khao soi. The papaya salad was fresh but the sauce was a little too acidic. The sauce also ended up gathering on the bottom a little too much but was great to cut through the thick noodle soups. The tom yum soup was super flavorful and I loved the broth. Unfortunately the noodles got soggy really quickly but all the fillings made up for it. It came with dumplings, pork, ground pork, egg, and more! The khao soi was very creamy but also full of flavor. I liked the thickness of the egg noodles but my friend was a little unsettled by the richness of color. If you're looking for a quick, local spot for Thai, this is a great place to go!“
“This place is sick. I wish I could have been there for the live jazz music, but happy just with the Sushi and sake with friends. We got the smallest boat along with 2 side orders of eel. The service was great and the Sushi was just as good. Highly recommend the avocado eel rolls.“
“Great ambience, located a five minute walk from Kendall T station. We went at 7ish and it was starting to get packed, but the service was great--they had a lot of cocktail and alcohol options that seemed delicious, we just didn't happen to try any. Highlight of dinner was definitely the spicy salmon maki. Salmon was incredibly fatty and delicious, definitely high quality. We also ordered the Tempura maki, popcorn shrimp and Agedashi Tofu. While the agedashi tofu and tempura maki were alright, the popcorn shrimp is definitely a must try. The coating is flaky and light, and the shrimp tasted fresh and bouncy. Definitely recommend if you're in the area!“
“I got the soba noodle salad with kimchi, peanuts with their Gochujang chicken, topped off with their Spicy Peanut and the flavors were fantastic! Staff was also really nice and gave me some recommendations which were great! The location had multiple huge live plant walls that made the area looked awesome. Will definitely stop by again for lunch next time I am in the area.Kid-friendliness: brought my kid there asking if they had something for kids and they were able to throw together a kids bowl for my picky son that he absolutely loved!“
“Fast and delicious. The service at this location has improved dramatically Sind it first opened. Ordering ahead is a game-changer and the online system works well. One Kendall Square (the complex) has become an uncomfortable high-security office park rather than the welcoming environment it once was, so eating at one of the outdoor tables is not especially pleasant. Not Bon Me’s fault - blame Alexandria for that.“
“Flavor, healthy-eating, price, and value - the best balance of all four. This place deserves 5 stars on every count. Hip places usually fumble on at least one of these areas, if not on all. This place serves excellent flavors in a wide variety in very decent portion sizes for a reasonable price. I can easily even make a salad-like concoction with lots of protein for the same price as something on the menu. Well done Bon Me! There are very few places like you around.“
“I love the JP Bon Me sandwich with paprika tofu from the Cambridge Test Kitchen. I think I am addicted. It is comfort food supreme: warm bagette, crisp crust, delectable tofu, crunch cool pickled veggies, and just enough spicy mayo to tingle my mouth, but not trigger GERD. I have tried other vendors in the Greater Boston area and they do not compare. I wish the Cambridge location was open on weekends...such is life. My companions most recently had The Take Out- lo mein with Chinese salt and pepper chicken and raved about it.Vegetarian options: I know that the spicy mayo and bread may contain egg, but this sandwich approaches vegan standards close enough, that I cannot deny myself its pleasure.Dietary restrictions: I always ask for onions to be held on the JP and the staff is utterly accommodating.Parking: Many available meters near the Cambridge location as long as you go off peak dining hours.“
“Authentic Jiro ramen, their signature bowl is indeed a monster. We really enjoyed our dinner but our main critique was that it was hard to get to the noodles in the Jiro because it was buried under all of the bean sprouts etc. The staff and service were on top of things and really took care of everyone on the grand opening. You can tell that their recipes were well thought out and come from Japan so I would recommend trying it but definitely come hungry as the bowls are hefty.“
“I came here for birthday drinks with my girlfriends and I was amazed with their cocktails. The lychee martini is delicious! Probably best one I've had in Boston. Ambiance is hip and beautiful. Shout out to Bao for making us feel extra special that day ! Will definitely come back to try the food!“
