Golden nachos COVERED in tender pulled pork and fresh cheese, chicken tenders are hand battered and well seasoned, hand cut french fries cooked to perfection. Food and service have been superb, consistent, and dependable. Definitely a regular spot for us.”

Quality of help and friendliness of patrons, young and older make this a favoured oasis of the North Shore. Each person is treated as special here and by other merchants. I only recently moved to the Boston area; lo and behold, turns out I live around the corner from the CLAM HIGHWAY. Ted Reinstein from Chronicle said A&D clams were his favorite, so I showed up not knowing what to expect, and man oh man! Clam sandwich! It's so good! And the interior and design of the place is really cute while still feeling New England, too!

“Went to On the Grind this morning after seeing a post about them having a coconut bagel. The ladies behind the counter are very nice and know each of their regular customers. I watched them greet many and knew exactly what they were going to order or already had a preorder waiting. I ordered the coconut bagels for my son and I. One with regular cream cheese and one with pineapple cream cheese and they did not disappoint!!! The coconut bagel with pineapple was delicious and not overly sweet and lots of toasted coconut. Highly recommend trying this little hidden gem!”

“Stopped in this past Saturday, on a trip up from Florida. Watched the dog training class for a bit and their welcome inside, and sampled a couple of the "offerings". Great brews! As a former home brewer, brought back a couple memories (Porter and IPA). And the bartender was GREAT!! 🙂”

If you have ever heard of Gloucester, you are close enough to plan a trip just for the baked goods. We did. We bought a box of goodies before hitting the beach, and we left the beach in time to buy more before heading home. So jealous of the Gloucester locals! I am still dreaming of the hand-pies.”
