“Lunch was great at this restaurant. We were seated immediately. Everyone on the staff was polite and helpful. We were given a very generous booth for the two of us to share. Clearly this place is popular with families as there were several families with children already seated. We ordered the stuffed mushrooms, honey beet salad, and Mexican street corn pizza. The food was delivered in a timely manner. The mushrooms came in a delicious rosemary lemon cream sauce, and we were given a spoon to get every last drop of the sauce. The salad was outstanding. The pizza looked a bit sparse on the toppings, but had a great flavor. All the food tasted fresh and homemade. Wish we lived closer so we could come back soon.Vegetarian options: Many vegetarian options--apps, salads, bowls, pizza.Parking: All parking spaces in front of the restaurant were full, but there is a public parking lot behind the restaurant off South St. a short walk away. You can enter the restaurant from South Street. but there are lots of stairs.“
“I went here as a last minute option for my son's first birthday cake as some other bakeries fell threw. And I'm so glad that i did. The theme was cookie monster and they had a cute one on their website so I ordered it for pick up. Very nice atmosphere inside, pleasant service, and the cake was even better looking in person. “I'm so happy I drove out to try Swanski's! Although I cannot speak on how their bagels stand by themselves, they taste absolutely delicious with their plain and veggie cream cheeses.Honestly, they may have sold me on veggie cream cheese. I have never had it before, it paired perfectly with the plain bagel. It was flavorful and far from being too much. Theirs includes garlic, shallots, bell peppers, and I think perhaps one more vegetable I forgot about. You could probably request to have the cream cheese on the side if you don't want it spread on the bagel for you. Two thumbs up.The bagels were awesomely toasted and so *chef's kiss* crispy! I enjoyed them a great deal and finished both before I left the parking lot!I also ended up getting one of their lemon bars and their M&M cookies. I would get the lemon bar again if I was craving something lemony--it was pretty nice and I liked that it was soft and chewy. The cookies are a bit crispy as well on the outer edges, and it gets soft and chewy towards the middle, which I love.I had a five star experience is what I can say. I was in the shop by myself and the staff member who aided me was really kind and patient. Three thumbs up for service!As another review stated, from the outside, it is very unassuming. On the inside, it is a warm and well-kept and well-maintained bake shop. They have plenty of great merch you can purchase for yourself or a loved one. There is seating available for the outside only as there is limited space inside. Plenty of parking in the back of the building as you enter from the right hand side, and you just walk up to the front.I'll happily be coming back here for more of their bagels with cream cheese and their other delectable goodies. “Second time here and the service was exceptional. Parking is tough, but had water on the table by the time my wife joined me. Started with fried pickles and my entree was the two meat combo, ribs and brisket with beans and cornbread. All delicious and the self service sauce bar is a great chance to try what works best. Very reasonably priced, there is a reason this place is always packed. Recommend a reservation but if timed right, seating at the bar seemed easy enough. Cheers!“
