“Lunch was great at this restaurant. We were seated immediately. Everyone on the staff was polite and helpful. We were given a very generous booth for the two of us to share. Clearly this place is popular with families as there were several families with children already seated. We ordered the stuffed mushrooms, honey beet salad, and Mexican street corn pizza. The food was delivered in a timely manner. The mushrooms came in a delicious rosemary lemon cream sauce, and we were given a spoon to get every last drop of the sauce. The salad was outstanding. The pizza looked a bit sparse on the toppings, but had a great flavor. All the food tasted fresh and homemade. Wish we lived closer so we could come back soon.Vegetarian options: Many vegetarian options--apps, salads, bowls, pizza.Parking: All parking spaces in front of the restaurant were full, but there is a public parking lot behind the restaurant off South St. a short walk away. “I cannot say enough good things about On The Rise Bakery! Mara helped me make the most AMAZING surprise rehearsal dinner groom's cake for my husband. It had all of his favorites things on it, and was a decadent chocolate and peanut butter cream filling. Everyone loved it!!! She also made my wedding cake! The Flower design was breathtaking!! And no surprise, this cake also tasted fab! My guests are still talking about it! We did vanilla and chocolate cake with chocolate and espresso buttercream, SOOOO GOOD! “I'm so happy I drove out to try Swanski's! Although I cannot speak on how their bagels stand by themselves, they taste absolutely delicious with their plain and veggie cream cheeses.Honestly, they may have sold me on veggie cream cheese. I have never had it before, it paired perfectly with the plain bagel. It was flavorful and far from being too much. Theirs includes garlic, shallots, bell peppers, and I think perhaps one more vegetable I forgot about. You could probably request to have the cream cheese on the side if you don't want it spread on the bagel for you. Two thumbs up.The bagels were awesomely toasted and so *chef's kiss* crispy! I enjoyed them a great deal and finished both before I left the parking lot!I also ended up getting one of their lemon bars and their M&M cookies. I would get the lemon bar again if I was craving something lemony--it was pretty nice and I liked that it was soft and chewy. The cookies are a bit crispy as well on the outer edges, and it gets soft and chewy towards the middle, which I love.I had a five star experience is what I can say. I was in the shop by myself and the staff member who aided me was really kind and patient. Three thumbs up for service!As another review stated, from the outside, it is very unassuming. On the inside, it is a warm and well-kept and well-maintained bake shop. They have plenty of great merch you can purchase for yourself or a loved one. There is seating available for the outside only as there is limited space inside. Plenty of parking in the back of the building as you enter from the right hand side, and you just walk up to the front.I'll happily be coming back here for more of their bagels with cream cheese and their other delectable goodies. The pretzel was almost the size of our kitten in about the size of a small pizza box and the cheese queso was out of this world!I ended up going with the Smoked Chipotle Turkey Club sandwich on sourdough! The flavor of all the Ingredients together was perfection. I was like hmm roasted peppers, smoked meat, and chipotle on fresh bread sounds like love at first bite! The bread was just right soft and crunchy on outside and turkey was not too juicy and not dry. It was probably the best turkey sandwich I have ever eaten! I had to get the sweet potato fries which were delicious! We also shared the cornbread which was quite good.I may have to try the jumbo tater tots and wings or a nice salad and chili next! Here's what we got:- Shrimp Fresh Roll: bigger than I expected and had avocado in it too which I hadn't seen before but was such a great addition! The sauce was like a Peking duck sauce and was great. 5/5- Chicken Satay: SO juicy!! I loved this -- it came with 4 large pieces and two sauces: peanut and veggie/vinegar. 5/5- Papaya Salad: I don't love papaya salad, but my partner likes it and thought it was just okay. But it was a large portion for the price! 3/5- Short Rib Khao Soi: delish! I love Khao soi and loved how they give you the option to add crispy toppings and chili oil. The short rib itself was fall off the bone! 5/5If we lived closer we'd be back soon!!“

They have something for everyone; beef, turkey, black bean, hot dog. I wish the fries were included but the portion size is huge (should be for the price ?). I've come back a few times just for the tasty thick milkshakes... don't leave without getting one. It's nothing fancy but simply done right. Location is good sized with lots of parking. A family could easily come in and sit with no issue.“

The cupcakes taste great, they had a nice selection of flavors which are all listed on their website, and I’m glad they had some decorated for Easter.
