“This place had been on my list for a while now and we ended up going last minute when our first plans fell through. Everything about our experience was positive. We sat at the bar and the service, the steaks, and the drinks were all well above usual quality for a post-Covid world restaurant. We had the monfonguito appetizer, t-bone steak and filet mignon, mango habenero margaritas and lava cake for dessert. Wouldn't change a thing. We are glad that our first plans fell through and will certainly be back.“
“Went there for lunch , got the veal parmigiana sub and super roast beef. Split the sub with wifey and was too full for Super Beef. Wifey loves the tomato sauce in our parm, will go back again. Wish they had Parmesan cheese on the counter t add your own. A solid 9 out of 10“
“Delicious! Contrary to the North Shore tradition to get James River BBQ sauce on roast beef, I like mine with cheese and mayo only. This means the beef itself has to be well seasoned without relying on the sauce and Bella's does not disappoint! My husband and I drove from another part of the state to eat here because it's so highly rated on the North Shore Beefs page. We now detour on the way to visit a relative so we can get roast beef!Pro tip: don't attempt to eat The Professor in one sitting, that thing is a monster“
“10/10, phenomenal food! Tostones are huge and perfectly seasoned, not dry at all and nicely cooked. They serve big generous pieces of chicharron and las croquetas de jamon omg me hacen pensar en espana, so good. Will definitely come and try the paella next time for “
“Small space but great location with a view. Very friendly service. Really tasty drinks. Empanadas were tasty but filling a bit salty. Butternut squash soup was delicious. Chicken & broccoli with pesto was a large serving & tasty. Chicken Milanese wasn't crispy & the sauce made it soggy. I'd definitely go back to try other menu options.“
“This is hands down my favorite place in Andover. I have been going there for a couple of years, about once a month, and never been disappointed. Their daily crudo is always exceptional, so are the daily soups (I crave the cheddar soup that they took off the menu a while back). The charcuterie board is another great choice. The ambiance is laid back but chic, the service is impeccable, discreet and efficient. I can't wait to go back.“
“This joint is slinging some of the best beefs in the area. went on monday and the 3-way was hitting. had to make sure it wasn't a fluke so I went back on tuesday, dined-in, and the had one of the best beefs of my young life. No fluke here“
“I originally heard about Captain John's from a friend who claimed this was the place to go for some of the best friend fish in the Boston area. So naturally, on my last day in Boston, I came in very excited for this to be everything I heard of and more... And they absolutely delivered! Wonderfully pleasant folks serving beautifully fried fish and incredibly tender scallops. It was so good, I ended up finishing a whole seafood platter by myself. The music and laughter from the bar also really builds on the small town atmosphere that adds another level to the experience. I would recommend this to anyone who has the chance to stop by!“
“What a GEM! Great food and service! Scallops, haddock, lobster pie, steak tips; all 5star - and the Tuscan pork chops are a MUST.We'll be back soon.Wheelchair accessibility: Handicap spaces not very close; wheelchair ramp is very long, but probably satisfies the local code. The dining experience minimizes the inconvenience.“
“I called to ask about their seafood and fish chowders for takeout, even though I wouldn’t arrive for about an hour. Descriptions were very appetizing, so I ordered a pint of each. Even though I arrived only about 15 min before closing, my order was packed just before I arrived, and was still hot and DELICIOUS when I arrived home. Very pleasant folks! And fresh seafood, reasonably priced. I will CERTAINLY order from Bradford Seafood again!“
“Catherine was our server and she was lovely. Our meal and service from beginning to end was a perfect food and drink experience. The steak I had was amazing. The affogato dessert was a life changing experience for me. Expensive but worth it.“
“We went last night (first time) and were so happy we found this gem on Merrimack Valley Eats. I had the French Dip and my husband had fried scallops. Both were superb! And the hand-cut fries are hard to come by today! The bread pudding was the best around!! Can't wait to go back! And our server, Adam(?) went above and beyond to make our first visit memorable“
“Very nice lunch date experience. Extremely pocket friendly and great service! The chowdas were fantastic - I took the Rockport lobster bisque, and my bf took the Atlantic haddock chowda, and both of them were very tasty! Would visit again ?“
“This was my first time at the restaurant. A friend recommended this place, and we went together to check it out. It's spotless and ambiance and cozy. The waitress is warm and friendly. And checks upon us to see we are well taken care of. And. Since it was my first time, it was a bit challenging to choose a meal to decide. But it's okay, and they were patient and served the best possible way.“
“had lunch there recently....service was excellent but the portion were rather small. it was a consensus (6 of us) regarding the portions.my steak tips were fine but the side of fries was paltry at best.otherwise everything was good especially the service and friendliness of the waitress.“
“I stumbled upon Rizzo's while attending an event a Ross the street at the Lowell Auditorium. This is a very clean pizza/sandwich/salad spot and I'd give it five stars for simply the food. However, they are fast to get food prepared and the staff is polite. We had a chicken rice bowl (outstanding), Greek salad (tons of chicken) and a gold finger sub (my daughter loves it). That was the first day. It was so good we went back on the second day for a super beef sandwich, another chicken bowl and a pizza. We NEVER repeat places. But, this was too good not to. You really should try this spot.“
“Went there thinking classic Italian. Boy was I wrong! So many Mediterranean dishes, amazing steak and STRONG drinks! Calamari was tender and delicious, prime rib rare as you want it, and the Mediterranean platter with hummus, grape leaves, and everything else amazing!!!“
“Large portions, friendly staff, and good service.Local spot for Portuguese dishes. Can get quite busy, but the servers are attentive and helpful. We typically always get the kale soup, house steak and Portuguese fries (more like plantain looking cut chips). Had the special lobster scallop and shrimp scampi dish tonight over linguine which was very good. Seafood stew is very hearty. Flan was also very good.*sharing menu as it’s not visible anywhere else online*“
“Went for dinner with my family last night (Friday night) and can’t say enough! Wish I had taken some pictures but I was too busy stuffing my face because everything was so delicious!!!!!! You can tell everything is made fresh. Our server was wonderful. We had a wonderful table in the corner. We had steak tip risotto, ribeye, t bone, wedge salad and a couple kids meals too. Absolutely everything was amazing - can’t say it enough! The Italian Margs were pretty yummy too! Oh and the deserts!!!! HUGEEEE and you guessed it… delicious!“
“I had the Dracut House of Pizza Special Sub & Cajun Waffle Fries. The Sub was excellent -- among the best I've ever had! The fries were very good as well. Counter service was especially friendly, pleasant & efficient. This place could easily become a habit.“
“Purchased a lobster roll from here a few weeks ago. My husband said it was the best lobster roll he had ever had. Plenty of lobster, not expensive, and the lobster was sweet and fresh. Nice employees too! Would highly recommend and will definitely go back“
“Good parking behind the building. Greeted by Lisa slash waitress very friendly helped us with menu .We ask about menu and opening and closing time. I had the steak tip Bennie,Steak, which was a 9.5 taste sweet and good-sized eggs that were soft with a Portuguese like muffins .“
“Great prices and wonderful owners. They take the time to share with you where their selections come from and differences between the taste. Price and quality beats the other markets and large chain grocery stores; yes, even the small box trucks that sell seafood on the street. Highly recommended!“
“Peter and wife April! Plus Baylin (I know spelling wrong) The only other host with the most there! we have been coming here for over six years. My son who is just turning 10 always request for Moontown. The rules! The soups! Not to mention the generosity of free spritzer drinks, and the fact that it feels like I'm walking into family members house when I show up or even call. I've never been sick here !!!!! and I absolutely love their food. ???❤️???“
“Listen I Ate All Over The Country, Ive Tried the Most Diverse Of Foods And This Was By FAR The Best Food I Have Eating OMG.. The Staff of Ladies were Super Nice, Super Patient(i didnt speak fluent spanish) and Even the customers were Nice and helpful! The line was Long For Good Reason And They Worked Efficiently! This Place Has Very Good Prices for very Delicious Food And If You dont stop To have a Bit Of Everything Its Your Loss Tbh! Thank You so Much!“
“So I went in on Tuesday for a slice. Was told since it was slow there were no slices made. However the nice lady recommended the half off large pizza. I can't be happier. Pizza was perfect! I forgot my 20oz. but the pizza 100% made up for my mistake. Can't wait for next Tuesday!!“
“Food was very good. Ambiance was lively. Our waitress was terrific! Nicole was able to be attentive to our fussy requests and made sure we were happy with everything. She checked in several times. We will certainly request her next time we go.“
“I have been going here for about 3 years now. I haven't had any issues. The employees are super nice and I have nothing really bad to say other then I have bought things that have gone past the expiration date. So just double check the date and you'll be fine!“
“Amazing food! Love this place!A little pricey, but worth it.Been there twice now, once for lunch, once for dinner.Food was soooo good. I had the Haddock Maria for dinner a few weeks ago. OMG! I almost licked the plate. It was THAT good. Can't wait to go back!“
“The lobster bisque is my favorite. Their fried shrimp plate was very good too. Christmas Eve we get our lobsters here. It’s a very hectic day with a lot of picking up of orders and most people are stressed, and impatient but the boys that work there are always friendly and upbeat.“
“The food, atmosphere and service are all excellent! Went here for our anniversary dinner, got the window seat, and swear I just fell in love with my husband all over again. The atmosphere was more business casual and relaxed. The waitress made amazing recommendations as I didn't know what I wanted for sure. Everything was lovely!“
“The izzyrito looked like the standout order here. You can add flaming hot Cheetos to the wrap and I recommend you do! You get a lot of good quality fish and a great variety of veggies and toppings to boot. The truffle aioli was sweet and very truffle-y. It's a bit pricey but I think for the quality of ingredients and the amount of food you're getting, it's worth it. Great option to have in the downtown area ??“
“Had a great 70 birthday dinner there last night- food was excellent and had a room all to ourselves! ( 8 adults and 6 kids). Food and drink and waitresses Jessica was awesome! We were even able to order a magician as we waited for for food ( website suggested) overall everyone was happy and so was my dad. I suggest the magician- was good for all ages!“
“Good food. I consider fish'n'chips to be a test if a restaurant's capabilites. It was good fish, tasty, but it should have been in the deep fryer, just a but longer - the breading was still doughy on the underside, not great, but avoidable one you knew it.The server was quickly responsive to one member of our party of 7. But once she'd taken care of that (minor) complaint, she simply turned away from the table, where two other people had other equally minor needs. TIP: ALWAYS look at the rest of the table to check if everything is okay.If we are in Lowell again, which is probable, I would happily return, as the atmosphere, >noise level<, and other attention was more up to expectations.Dietary restrictions: One member of our party has allergies, which were satisfactorily handled.“
“Had a wonderful Valentine’s Day dinner here. Everything was awesome! Chicken wings, shrimp Alfredo and chicken pot pie was all sooo good. Dinner rolls were to die for. However, the highlight of the evening was our awesome waiter Aaron! So polite, funny and attentive, even recommended a dessert (Mississippi mud pie) which did not disappoint!“
“Great place and love the food. Lots to choose from and great food and service when we picked up food was fast and easy. I order pickup and delivery and there are always have the food high quality. Love the place it's close by and easy to find.“
“We stopped in for a quick bite on a Thursday night. The bar was lively and the dining room not overly crowded. The food was great I had one of my favorite things a bacon chicken ranch wrap and it was exactly what I'd want from it. We also had the southwest chicken egg rolls which were very tasty as well. One downside is it seems to be only booths in the dining room so if that isn't your thing it could be an issue. The biggest issue is that the hours have always seemed to be a moving target and I get that to some extent in the post COVID world but a large part of why it took us a year to get back is we often dismiss as they might not be open. Overall though a solid local pub I'd like to have in more frequent rotation.“
“Had a great Friday dinner at Scola's. All 6 members of our party enjoyed the quality and quantity of the food, and our server, Emma, was a delight. Our hostess was friendly, and accommodating to an increase in our party size, when a birthday surprise family member was able to join us. We tried: Vegetarian Lasagna, Pollo Bellimissa, Chicken Milanese, and Haddock Fish Fry.“
“I come to this superb place once a month because I enjoy the good mood that is unique to this place. The personel is highly attentive and well trained. The service is extremely efficient. Also, the food you eat is magnificent. I came more than once and I was always happy. The payment is reasobable. I highly recommend this restaurant to to everybody.“
“Best steak and cheese I’ve ever had in my life and I’ve had a lot of sandwiches. Service was great, everyone friendly, in fact, I left my wallet on the table and I didn’t make it to the door before it was returned. I think the guy that returned it was the owner and was in good shape, so when I saw him running towards me, I thought I was in trouble. :) Can’t wait to go back“
“It was one of the best experiences I've had in a while. We started with the Rock and Roll. The two sushi chefs are amazing and present a beautiful, delicious presentation with the highest quality of sea food. We triedtwo other dishes and some appetizers, and all were equally delicious. Give them a try. Everyone is friendly, and the food and drinks are awesome.?“
“Oh my lanta!!! This restaurant is amazing! The atmosphere is welcoming, the service is immaculate, and the food oh my gosh!!!! DELICIOUS! We arrived around noon on a Sunday, at first it was empty but quickly began busy by 1. Our food still came out really quick and our server Julissa was very attentive and brung another round of our drinks when our food was ready. They were interested in our feedback and wanted to make sure we were having a great experience, which we absolutely did! Definitely recommend! They have space for couples and big groups. I got the churrasco y huevo (steak eggs and home fries), my partner got the tres golpes benedicto (poached eggs, fried salami and cheese, mango, and hollandaise sauce). For desert we got the cuatro leche“
“It was our first Time here. We sat at the bar and had Diane. It was the night of a storm and they were going to maybe close a little bit early, but she was sure to welcome us and not make us feel rushed even though we felt guilty. She had excellent customer service skills, nice conversation and super friendly. The food was Five stars. We got the calamari as an app and split the big guy ribeye. She made an excellent lemon, drop martini we will return! As a matter of fact, we are going there for dinner tonight wirh family!“
“I had the seafood boil combo with garlic butter. Food was excellent. They did an excellent job of capturing that Cajun taste that is only common in Louisiana and Texas and brought it to the eastcoast. I would definitely recommend and will probably be eating here again whenever I can make it out to Northern Mass.“
“Food and service was excellent and they have a lot different choices on their menu, bathrooms was super clean and I found parking right away.Parking: Free parkingKid-friendliness: They have a special cartoon cup for the kids drinks.Wheelchair accessibility: They have a ramp for wheelchair.“
“Lived in Methuen half my life and discovered this place about 2 years ago. Truly a gem, thanks to this place my kid loves fish and the tartar sauce here. Hard working staffs too I always leave a tip cause myself worked in the restaurant industry for almost 8 years. This place is legit and reasonable price.“
