Strawberry lemonade tasted fresh, fries were nice and crispy and came with a good sauce, and the California wrap, fish tacos, and kimchi beef bowl all had really strong flavors (the wrap and tacos tasted similar to one another but still good). By far the best food though was the carrot cake and Belgian chocolate cake. I've never had such moist, flavorful cake before. I was very impressed and would love the recipes for these.“

“Great service and great food. Over priced for sure but when I want a treat without all the guilt of a sugar packed or processed treat, this is the spot. Nice and fast staff. “Tried this for the first time when they came to a local 5K run and have been thinking about it ever since. Got the Pura Vida and it has acai, granola, strawberry, blueberries and honey. This hits the spot as it's not very sweet but just the perfect amount of sweetness where you can still taste slight tartness in the strawberries. Their base is not sweet like many other places. Tastes very light and feels healthy even after eating the whole bowl. The staff were very friendly, polite and didn't rush you to order. Inside has a few seatings and was very clean.“

“Joined a couple of vegans for breakfast. I usually struggle to find something tasty and satisfying. This place was very helpful in making suggestions and asking me questions about what i liked typically then they made suggestions based on what i had described. In the end i loved an item which was similar to eggs with chorizo and I’ll be darned if it tasted just as authentic s the real dish. I had a couple of their pastry items and they could have been just as authentic. “This is a newer store in the Playa family so there’s a learning curve for some of the kids. But they are super friendly, courteous & apologetic. The service is still Fantastic as is the food!!Parking: There’s Great (free) parking right in front of the store, across the street as well as a very good size lot right beside the building the store is located in. Normally, I order online and decided to search for someone local and to support my community. StarLife was literally the first to pop up in my google search and definitely local which was a plus! No exaggeration, the Seamoss is sooo good (and I’ve tried plenty other brands). The consistency/texture is smooth and the taste is everything!!! You can tell the seamoss was throughly cleaned. The jar was cold upon pickup, so I know it was properly stored. I literally can eat it by itself (which is what I intended on doing, but that was dependent on the taste)! It also has a special ingredient (which caught me off guard) that I feel sets them apart from other brands adding to the vitamins/nutrients the seamoss already naturally provides! So, for about two weeks now, I’ve had muscle and nerve pain in my neck/shoulder. “I been wanting to try playa bowls since forever and today was the perfect opportunity. I came it at around 5pm and there were a good amount of customers. As soon as you enter the store you are greeted by a lovely atmosphere. The space is not very big, but I would say it is of a decent size and it's also very bright, which I love.The cashier immediately greeted me with a smile, which I really appreciated. As a first timer I decided to go with a classic: the Nutella bowl. I ordered a Nutella bowl but with a base of half açaí and half mango. The service was pretty fast and the sitting area is clean. The bowl tasted to good and fresh. I loved the taste of the açaí way more then the taste of the mango base. The coconut flakes and the Nutella were the perfect addiction to make the bowl taste delicious. I honestly can't wait to be back once the weather gets hotter. (I apologize if my picture is blurry)“

I appreciate that the nutrition is listed on the website, but these bowls are not as healthy as they are marketed to be if you look at the macros, which is my only gripe. However, this is a good catering option for work if you want something slightly healthier for your employees.“
