Craigslist used to have "missed connections" boards and like if you talked to someone on a bus and had the hots for them you could like write a description and be like "what did I say was my favorite color" if they answer right you talk to them see if they want to get a glass of wine one night etc anywhosen. “UPDATE 9-25-21: Visited the second floor Carvel the other day. Marlyn is the manager here. She was a pleasure to meet with and the ice cream was FABULOUS! NOTHING beats Carvel Soft Serve Ice Cream. Nothing. Marlyn had her store in tip top shape. The store was very clean and sparkling. The Carvel Ice Cream machine was so shiny and clean that it looked as if it was brand new! I was very impressed. I had two large vanilla cones with chocolate sprinkles and two of Annie's Giant Salted Pretzels. The pretzels were absolutely DELICIOUS! It was a great treat and well worth the drive from Brookline.Positively the BEST SOFT SERVE ice cream in Boston! No doubt about it. I have been all over Boston, Worcester, Randolph, Brockton, Weymouth, Plymouth and Quincy. I have been to the North Shore, Attleboro and all points in between. CARVEL soft serve ice cream is better than Dairy Queen, JP Licks, Jerry's World Famous soft serve and everyone else's soft serve ice cream. Carvel has a patented formula that makes their ice cream the best there is. It is smooth, creamy, "heavy" and contains no "air" pockets. This location had great service and the ice cream was as good as it gets. I had 2 large vanilla cones with chocolate sprinkles. The lady that manages the store was super friendly and polite. It is a bit of a drive for me (Brookline) but well worth the trip. I wish there was one closer to me. A nice "stand alone" Carvel store in Coolidge Corner would be awesome!“
“This place was fine, I had a good experience. Satisfied my crepe wants. It was a nice place in the mall to have a quick bite or as in my case spend some time there with your significant other. We ordered a crepe and 2 coffees. Crepe was so good I decided to buy another. I would return. I’m glad we decided to try this spot out.“
“Greet ice cream shop with a huge menu. My father brought me coconut ice cream from here as that's one of the only flavors I typically like and I was very surprised by how good it was. He loves the chocolate. Definitely worth a try if ever in the area. Will definitely try more flavors in the future.“
“Like every Rita's this Rita's deserves a five star for amazing customer service and for having such a great variety of custard's, and Italian ice, they made my double stack custard with the quickness. And yes it was amazing. I suggest trying orange custard if they have it when you were there.“
“I’ve gone with my grandfather and mom to Cabot’s for over 10+ years. They have the best ice cream! Highly recommend the Patriot Parfait: A tower of Strawberry, and Vanilla ice cream with strawberry and blueberry sauce, with whipped cream and a cherry on top. They also have tasty reuben sandwiches. Staff are friendly, and the owner is lovely. Usually a bit of a wait, but that’s due to how popular the restaurant is. They also sell ice cream birthday cakes, if you are looking for that.“
“Love love love this place, Amazing flavors of ice cream, smoothies, sorbet, frozen yogurt. Generous portions and their service is really good. Owner and the staff are very friendly. I ordered an ice cream cake for my daughter's birthday party, the biggest size and none of it was left. Couple kids in the party had allergies and the owner was very kind to be mindful while preparing the cake and also suggested dairy and egg free substitute for the kids. I always have great experience with them and my kids always, always leave this place very happy.“
