“If you like ice cream, then you must try Abbott's Frozen Custard because it's like ice cream on steriods. Creamier, smoother and it's apparently made fresh every single day on-site (you can watch the fresh custard coming out of their machine over the counter if you time your visit right!). There are a fair amount of storefronts in Needham center that have changed over the past decade but there's a reason why Abbott's has remained. Highly recommend getting one of the pies for a special occasion. I love the PB cup pie. Always a nice change of pace for thanksgiving or when bringing a dessert to a party. Abbott’s does it right!“

Coolest restaurant menu I’ve ever seen, annotated with so much meaning and history behind every ingredient and dish. I ordered two drinks, a main, and a side. Everything was delicious. After eating, I spent some time sipping a drink on the couch/lounge area looking at their books. An immersive cultural experience. I will be back. “A cute little neighborhood shop in West Roxbury. I came here on a weekend afternoon and the place was full of people inside and out enjoying a cup of gelato. You can learn the difference between ice cream and gelato from their wall decor while you decide on what flavor to get. I had high hopes for this gelato and it didn't disappoint. I got pistachio and creme brulee and definitely preferred the pistachio more. It had a light flavor that was creamy, but not overpowering. The gelato had a good texture to it and I would love to go back to try out the other flavors.“

“There are many ice cream flavors and different sizes to choose from. I ordered three flavors: 3B, Earl gray, and Kulfi. They were all delicious. Among them, 3B (brown sugar, brown butter, brownie) is the signature flavor and the most amazing. It has a strong creamy aroma and is surprisingly not overly sweet. , paired with brownie to make the taste richer. Earl Gray tea has a very elegant taste. The aroma of bergamot comes first in the mouth, and the tea flavor comes out later, with an endless aftertaste. Kulfi is cardamom-flavored ice cream with chopped nuts. It feels like drinking Indian spiced milk tea. There is a large table and some sofas in the store, and there is also water for guests to take by themselves, which is very considerate.“

Highly recommend the Patriot Parfait: A tower of Strawberry, and Vanilla ice cream with strawberry and blueberry sauce, with whipped cream and a cherry on top. They also have tasty reuben sandwiches. Staff are friendly, and the owner is lovely. Usually a bit of a wait, but that’s due to how popular the restaurant is. They also sell ice cream birthday cakes, if you are looking for that.“

“Located near Harvard Square, we strolled around and came upon this dessert haven. They have a ton of flavors to choose from, and they give out samples if requested. It wasn't crowded when I came, so we didn't have an issue perusing the selection, which includes desserts beyond gelato. We went with the dulce de leche and the hazelnut, both of which were packed with flavor. One scoop as a bigger scoop than others, but I am happy to get a little extra, just noting it wasn't consistent. There are a few tables inside to sit and enjoy or it's a handy treat to take around and walk.“

It's freaking ice cream so you will need those napkins. I just get really annoyed having to go back to the window and wait minutes for a couple napkins! “I was recently shopping at Crumbl Cookie at the Dedham Plaza. My wife and I were passing on by when she asked me to look online about it while I was waiting for her while she went into Stsr Market. So I checked out what Crumbl Cookie was all about and decided when she came out that we would go over there and check it out. Upon entering I was quite shocked about how big the baking facilities were. But not to impressed with the amount of space for customers to be waiting at. Their were no chairs to sit while waiting for your order or to even sit down to eat and enjoy a cookie. But needless to say maybe it's something they can probably work on in futureAnyway the facilities were very clean and the ordering was painless. I ordered a Banana Nut bread cookie, while I also ordered a Snickdoodle cookie, we also ordered a waffle cookie which came with a side of syrup, and last but not least I wish that I could remember the cookie that we ordered but I can't remember. When we got home after eating dinner we got into the cookies and let me tell you that this was the best Snickerdoodle cookie that I've ever had. It was on the sweet side but it didn't deter me from eating it all and wishing that I had another one. MY wife and my mother in-law both enjoyed their cookies as well. All in all we would highly recommend that people give the Crumbl a chance to try out some delicious cookies and also from what I understand is that they change their menu every week with different varieties of cookies so never the same dull menu. “I have such fond memories coming here throughout the years. I was originally introduced to this location a few years ago by the kids I babysat, since they lived in Waltham and the Belmont Center location was closer than the Newtonville one. We kept going back and it was delicious every time! My go to flavor is the hydrox cookies and cream. It won't let you down! The staff is mainly juniors and seniors in high school and they're so nice to guests and are hustling on the job (and supporting eachother on their college adventures which you love to see). There's not many seats inside but that was never a problem for us. Besides, it's nicely located in Belmont Center so you can also walk around a bit, or sit outside if you'd like. :)“

I wanted to try a flavor first, before ordering, but quickly learned they do not do samples. I decided to go with what the worker who was helping me suggested, and I definitely left this place a happy lady! I got a small size in a cup, with a matcha cone of one scoop honey lavender and one scoop of caramel crackle. I have never tried honey lavender flavor in an ice cream and was interested due to all the reviews. The honey lavender was good, but not my cup of tea... the star of the show for me was the salted caramel crackle! The mango sorbet was also delicious, by the way! They also offer other treats such as cookies and brownies. We went on a Tuesday and I was super intrigued by the Tuesday Taco special but decided to just get a small size first to try. The tres leches had vanilla wafers, while the baklava had filo dough pieces and walnuts, which added some texture variety. I also enjoyed the waffle cone. It was thicker and chewier than store bought ones.Cons: This was very messy to eat because the ice cream was already half melted by the time I was handed my cone (unsure if this is usually the case with their ice cream). I was also shocked by the price when I went to pay (almost $15)—it turns out that I was overcharged. They corrected this after I emailed customer support. However, although this was the first time this has happened to me at a restaurant, this was not the first for them based on other reviews, so be careful. Of the three flavors we ordered, one had a few ice crystals in it. I also ordered a cannoli cupcake which was a surprise - it was basically a chocolate cupcake with what felt like a ricotta icing (reminiscent of the inside of a cannoli) topped with a cannoli chip - so definitely felt more like a cupcake than a cannoli but it was a really good cupcake.“
