If you want traditional Haitian food this is the place to go !!”

The staff are a glowing reflection of their manager, Mike. All are friendly, attentive and knowledgeable enough to make appropriate recommendations for both food and drinks. The space is small, but it is cozy and tastefully decorated with original paintings of historical figures tied to New Bedford. The cocktails are creative and tasty. They make the absolute best Old Fashioned I've ever had.”

“We cannot recommend Dough Co enough! We recently hosted a small wedding reception/brunch in the loft and had such an awesome experience. We planned our whole wedding in 2 weeks and it felt so simple and easy, largely thanks to the Dough Co team! Kellie was a joy to work with and was so patient with all of our questions! She accommodated all of our requests, even serving things family style and decorating the space for us. We dropped off some flowers and decor and they made it look so beautiful for our event. The food and service was incredible, as always. Everyone keeps talking about how stellar the food was, and they loved the space in the loft. We love Dough Co, thanks so much for making our day so special!”

“We recently had our firefighter's ball for the New Bedford Fire Department at the Vault. Across the board, it was an exceptional experience. The manager, Courtney, was masterful in helping us plan and coordinate our event, menu, decorations, and entertainment. During the event the food was great, the staff was excellent, and the location in the heart of downtown New Bedford was perfect with nearby parking garages and lots of good bars and restaurants for the end of the night within an easy walk. We will be looking forward to returning again next year!”

“We visited on a Saturday, around 5 we were seated our server Carla was very good. We had a few questions about the menu and she answered them ALL! The Chicharros served with boiled potatoes and a side salad was very good ,my son-in-law had the Quail that the sauce it came with was delicious served with rice and french fries my daughter had Shrimp Mozambique that had a hint of lemon in it delicious served with rice and french fries.The French fries were hand cut from fresh potatoes NOT FROZEN! For dessert, we shared 2 the tiramisu and the arroz doce (rice pudding) both DELICIOUS!!! we definitely will be going back..Parking: Not too many spaces to park, but we got there fairly early so we were good.”

Hubby ordered grilled chicken and cheese sandwich with fries. He said it was the best chicken sandwich he has ever had. Food came fast. There's a family style dining area where we sat that was very clean and a lounge with bar adjacent to the dining room with a few tables and keno. I will come here again very soon!”

“Some of the best comfort food you will ever find. My dad knew about the Dog House when it was in Weld Square in the 60’s and our family has been loyal customers ever since. Do yourself a favor and get a grilled steak sandwich with cheese and onions when they have them because they run out, they run out. While their burgers are fresh ( and not frozen ) and a million times better than the fast food places, don’t look past their full blown dinners like fresh scallop plates, French meat pie and fish and chips. Lunch counters like this are few and far between with plenty of free parking across the street.”

Not sure who said it was $10-20 per person but thats bizarre unless you’re doing a big order. The boba is affordable and is the lowest price I've found around Dartmouth/New Bedford for boba. I definitely recommend coming and trying out some of their boba for yourself, the atmosphere is also and always great.”

I went to the Dunkin on Nauset Street this afternoon, around 1p.m. I went through the drive-thru and the girl who waited on me was blonde girl with a septum piercing. I wish I had gotten her name. I had a decent sized order and she was all by herself, and it was very busy. I'll be completely honest, I expected something to be wrong. But she got everything perfectly right and she was friendly and calm. I was impressed. Maybe I shouldn't be, because it should always be that way. I had the most amazing Natas of my life.I wanted to order a dozen right there and then and they did not have enough.Then I was sent to the source! This bakery is overall amazing. The storefront is very plain and easy to miss (we drove right by it the first time) so be on the lookout for it.”

“They have a large variety of very authentic Mexican dishes. I tried the birria tacos and they're good, they're missing a couple of spices, but they're still good. I also tried their chorizo, and that is not authentic, it's the Portuguese kind, which is totally different from the Mexican and even the Spanish kind. Their staff is nice and works as fast as they can, but they seem really busy with phone/online take out orders. Their prices seem just a little high, they are as much as a sit down place, considering you order at the counter here, I would expect them to be a little lower. Nevertheless, I enjoyed the food, and will definitely come back.”

This restaurant is a must stop in New Bedford!”

The menu had a lot of items that were not available. It should not take 50 minutes for the time from walking in to getting the food placed in front of us for a burger spot. I get it is a laid back type of atmosphere but that is unacceptable. Food was phenomenal, the herb fries were amazing. But you must ask yourself if it's worth the wait? Whoever is the cook in this place is working magic. I suggest coming by only if you have extra time to spare soak up the interesting array of artistic decor. A real gem in New Bedford. I have tried almost everything in the menu and it hits every-time. The fried chicken has so much flavor in each bite and the rice and beans are great. The tortillas are perfect and not too dry. The pizza doesn't taste weird and the grilled beef is packed with so much flavor. Lastly the tacos! They are AMAZING!!. The flavor these tacos have is so amazing it beats other competitors. The meat are juicy, cooked to perfection, and they're not afraid to give you more meat for your money's worth. You can tell that they take the time to season the food and make it with care.The staff are great as well. They are super accommodating if you bring in a party of 10 or you want to substitute something in the menu. Always servicing with a smile! Any questions you have they will gladly help. Also they do have a bathroom so just ask and they will gladly guide you to it.The only downside is parking and limited space but honestly it's worth it if I can eat good food for that day. Also it's not necessary to eat there since you can eat it in the comfort of your home. Can't wait to see them grow and I will be coming back for more!”

To make sure I wasn’t off the mark lol I brought a Haitian friend to eat there and he agreed that the food was great. The owners are wonderful people who care about quality food and service. Unlike some other coffee shops they listen to how you want your coffee and the execution is spot on and the same every single time! No matter who its made by. The employees here are always up for a creative challenge when I ask them to surprise me with a drink order. No one is perfect and yes they make some mistakes as everyone does, but what I love to see is that they are eager to remake it for you and make it correct, they understand that you are paying for a product and it is expected to come out right. No attitudes necessary. Inside is clean, and spacious, for being in a small area. Plenty of work space. Outside patio is also a nice spot. And a decent sized parking lot.”
