This place is a joke don't waste your time. Waitress Daniela the owners daughter rude, not engaged, no manners at all. The apple does not fall far from the tree. The "owners" or should I say the people whom are renting the place from the real owner are just a joke. Definitely not educated on proper etiquette of running and being hospitable of a restaurant atmosphere. So if you want to go to a place where you'll have a rude experience or maybe a random fight with Fallriver police being called to the scene. Give it a try. Ocean Star where the ocean is polluted and the star doesn't shine so brightly.

The food was very salty, there were 3 orders of fish n chips and a feijoada a transmontana all 4 very salty. Chicken wings were ordered spicy and low and behold no spicy just plain. Service was less than mediocre, maybe a first job was young person but certainly had her priorities wrong to busy socializing while we waited on tartar sauce and ketchup had to ask another to get my waitress by the time we received condiments food was just about cold and done with... As far as the atmosphere goes I guess its great if u enjoy sitting with strangers. Too many tables crammed together waiters and waitresses serving and cleaning while bumping into other patrons while they are getting elbowed by said patrons. Best part of the visit was the bus boys personality,And the hand cut friesParking: Small parking lot in front and back of establishment

Went there thinking it was a different place. Have been to this location many times, but didn't realize it had changed hands. Was originally a portuguese restaurant, and is now also. Waitress was very accomodating in explaining the ownership change. Place was noticibly updated and clean. Food was very good and presented with flair. ( mashed potatoes were piped and garnished). Prices were very reasonable. Was pleasantly surprised. Will be returning.

This place was great!! I tried the “Fried Octopus”. At first I was hesitant as I don’t care for fried food but this was cooked in Olive Oil ? Food was delicious and reasonably priced. Very laid back, open room concept and very casual. Staff was great.Can’t wait to go back!~ New Hampshire Girl ~ Ana

Well at first great once we ordered the apps let’s say it hit the fan. The waitress one of them dropped our shrimp chicken caught the plates but still had to be cleaned up, than waited for drinks food comes out my sirloin tips and cubed fries were cold like from the refrigerator 7 people 4 cold 2 luke warm and 1ok . She comes by sees the food pushed in said this food is ice cold unfortunately we had a problem I said well unfortunately that’s not our problem. Get the check not even a free appetizer or a free soda for the swill we received first and last.

Very rude staff! Bait and switch all the way! Asked for no lemon on food, plate went back and came back loaded with garlic but the lemon flavor was still pungent. No plates for bread or for appetizers. Not once were we asked how the food was. And when we asked for plates for the appetizers and for silverware we were given the finger to wait.I was born, raised and educated in Portugal and higher education in the United States and this restaurant’s staff gives both nationalities a very poor definition of hospitality.Total waist of hard earned money for the quality of food and horrific service (100+ for two)!

While in Fall Rivers my husband and I wanted to eat Grilled limpets ( Lapas ) and we came across this restaurant. We always ate at a different restaurant but they stop serving lapas . Anyways we are so happy we came across this restaurant. It was like eating at my mother in laws house in São Miguel. The food was amazing. The limpets the fresh cheese everything! I highly recommend!! It was but pricey for lunch but we drove far and wanted to makes sure we had our favorites. It definitely was worth the money to us!Parking: They have a very big parking area.
