“Service here was excellent, platter for 2 was filling and well worth the $76. Belly dancing 9pm-12am on the weekends make a resi you won’t be disappointed as the falafel and the kibbe nayye was excellent. Garlic sauce is a must ask. Looking forward to returning.“
“The most delicious food! My favorites are the lentil soup and the fattouch salad. ALWAYS delicious. My absolute favorite place to sit and enjoy a yummy lunch when I’m working in North Cambridge. Beautiful decor and atmosphere. Kind, authentic people making it all happen. Sweet, family run business.“
“Our family keeps an “Ethnic Cuisine Bucket List” that’s going to be harder to complete, now that we’ve found Al Wadi. We drove 25 miles to check it out, and we cannot wait to come back. We had the mezza sampler platter (beautiful and fresh), and Shakeeb, our attentive server, made sure we ordered well, “but not too well!” Magnificent lamb shank, tabouli, and eggplant stew. Actual quote from our 12-year-old: “There’s going to be a ‘next time,’ right dad?”There most certainly will!Did I mention they have parking, too? Five stars, all the way.Vegetarian options: Vegan, too.Kid-friendliness: Our 12 and 15 year old boys were not put upon and loved it. Other families there with small children.“
“Love the huge selection of vegetarian and vegan options, but they also offer a variety of meat dishes for those who prefer that. I started with the falafel wrap and am looking forward to working my way through the veggie options. Falafel is served in a long, relatively thin wrap as opposed to a pita pouch. Makes a great, easy to-go option you could eat while you walk.“
“The Zaatar flatbread was great if you like the taste of Zaatar. The Chicken Shawarma is the second best in Massachusetts. It's reflects the flavor of a true Lebanese Chicken Sharma upto a great extent (except, the flavor was really light). But the chicken seemed a little dry and the size of the shawarma is a little small for the price.“
“Fairouz has been exceeding expectations regarding catering for large events and various settings. I have worked with Fairouz to cater to personal and work-related events, and the service keeps improving. All of my guests asked where the food was ordered from. I will always work with Fariouz for catering and events. I highly recommend it. The staff and owner are kind and professional. They will adjust the order per your requests and are very flexible. Delivery is always on time, and they even set up the venue! Thank you, Fairouz!“
“We ordered takeout and it was so tasty. My husband really the kofta and the banana labneh. I thought the banana labneh was a little sweet for my preferences but loved the eggplant and tahini labneh. We both really liked the grilled halloumi. We will definitely be ordering from here again!“
“This was the perfect lunch meal when you wanted something a bit refreshing, semi healthy, and tasty. Their lentil rice with zataar chicken bowl hit the spot. The flavor combination was great, and you feel good just eating it. They are pretty quick to prepare the meal.“
“If you're looking for a Mediterranean-inspired spot for lunch here in the downtown area, there are plenty of options, with Pita Thyme being a more local and authentic option than, say, Cava.A kefta kebab plate, for example, was a solid value at $13.99, not just because it offered a decent portion of char-broiled ground lamb and but also because it came with three sides. I chose the quinoa, hummus, and baba, all of which paired well with the kebabs and were authentic and nourishing. Meanwhile, I saved a side of falafel for later in the afternoon which held up well after refrigeration and reheating, and which also tasted authentic. My online order was ready for me before I arrived. The folks here seemed friendly and sharp, and this looks like an inviting place for a quick sit-down meal too. A solid find thanks to a search of my Yelp app!“
“I found this treasure while driving through Norwood and I’m so glad I did. Once you walk in, you can tell the staff really enjoys and likes working there. The atmosphere is great and restaurant is very clean. As for the food, just wow and amazing. I had the chicken shawarma wrap. The chicken was perfectly season. You can tell they took a lot of effort in making this just right.I highly recommend this place. The people are enjoyable and friendly. The food is absolutely delicious and fantastic. I’m not sure if it’s a hidden treasure in Norwood but I’m glad I discovered this place. I will most definitely be going back.“
“Ten stars. Picked this place because they actually have toum, which most places downtown don't. 100% the right decision. Excellent food, very fresh and delicious. Great service and a very kind welcome. My only complaint is I live outside their delivery area.“
“In the shadowed alleys of Boston, amidst the clamor of mortal indulgence and folly, there exists a beacon of culinary transcendence known as Garlic n' Lemons. Within its humble abode, I beheld the most eldritch of marvels—the shawarma, whose arcane essence surpassed anything fathomable by mortal tongues. In pursuit of the ancient wonders of gastronomy, I have traversed many cities, yet none have ensnared my senses as fiercely as the offerings of Garlic n' Lemons. Its shawarmas, the veritable food of the gods, transcend the mundane confines of earthly fare, transporting the palate to realms hitherto unexplored. In the heart of Boston, where a bevy of unworthy offerings vie for ones custom, Garlic n' Lemons reigns supreme, a celestial beacon amidst a ghastly sea of mediocrity. Dare not overlook this gastronomic sanctuary, for within its hallowed halls awaits a culinary revelation unmatched by any mortal endeavor. Behold, and be consumed by the sublime ecstasy of Garlic n' Lemons.“
“Wow, this was delicious! We got the falafel plate with yellow rice and the pumpkin kibbe ("kibby") wrap — the latter with a substitution to avoid tomatoes. The pumpkin kibbe wrap was a wonderfully spiced combination of savory and sweet, the sweet provided by what my (Lebanese) companion told me was pomegranate molasses. And the falafel was exceptionally good, and I loved the Lebanese pickle mix that came with it.The portions were generous, the flavors were spectacular, the food was filling without feeling heavy, and I’m so glad to have been introduced to this place. I’ll be back!“
“I got the variety shawarma with lamb, kofta, and chicken. The price you pay goes a LONG way in food. Delicious shawarma with side salad, falafel, fries, pita, and hummus. Enough food in one order for 2-3 people to share. Employees are extremely friendly with excellent service. Great clean packaging for easy take out transport. 10/10 delicious middle eastern food. Highly recommend.“
