“They were so so so so so so so kind.Even though I don't speak English,They took great care to ensure that guests had a pleasant meal. The food is also very delicious.I searched on Google Maps and found it to be a local restaurant.I stopped by on purpose while taking a walk toward Harvard University. They said it was a local restaurant, so even though we went right at the 9 o'clock opening time, there was a wait quickly.I was alone, so I sat right at the bar.I highly recommend it to others!A place where nothing is missing!!I felt like tips were something to give in places like this.I am a tourist, and I think Luna Cafe will be my impression of Boston!! ^^“

“The little cakes and drinks are seasonal but they're so cute and delicious. I went in August and got a mango and a rose cake and a lavender drink. This January there was an apple and a hazelnut cake. They also made us a mocha latte that was so chocolatey and delicious. I love this place! It's pretty cozy and there's not a ton of sitting areas just fyi“

“Sip of Joy is a lovely spot in the South End to enjoy a drink and pastry. The service is friendly, and the space is bright and welcoming. There are different types of seating, including counter stools and a large table.I got a plain croissant that was warmed up, and an iced chai latte. Both were tasty, but while I wouldn't get the croissant again, there were other treats that I want to try in the future.“

“If you want a breakfast sandwich that literally makes your eyes roll back into your head- this is the place to go!!! I am sincerely always delighted with anything I've ever ordered at this restaurant- savoring every bit til the last bite. The interior is cute, the staff is friendly, and it's located in a quite area that has both indoor and outdoor seating. While this place is incredible, the seating is pretty limited inside, so I wouldn't recommend eating-in for large groups (4+). But if you're looking for a brunch date spot or somewhere to-go this place never misses. My favorite sandwich is 'the market' (photo attached).“

“I was excited to try this bakery, and it didn't disappoint! At Friday around 8am there was no line outside and plenty of items on display. I ordered the almond croissant, and wow was it was amazing. Buttery and flaky with a generous, even layer of frangipane throughout. I really appreciate how they make sure to fill even the ends of the almond croissant with a liberal amount of filling (oftentimes, I've found that bakeries only place filling towards the middle of the croissant). There's no seating inside, but there are some benches outside if you want to enjoy your pastries immediately. I recommend toasting them at home first - it was delicious warmed up!“

“Excellent lil shop, excellent service. The croons were out of the world. We have been looking for good quality croons and other than amorino , I didn’t like anything. But now I have a new favourite place. I got 6, I ate two of them because of couldn’t resist it and I couldn’t help but write a positive review about this business. I definitely recommend this place if you are looking for some high quality croons and coffee ( especially the dirty chai latter )“

“This is the best bakery for classic pastries. I recommend their chocolate or guava and cheese croissants. I’m also a fan of the morning bun. Their menu doesn’t really change but I always order the same things each time I’m there. It’s a very small place but they do have a few tables and bathrooms.“

Their croffles (croissants + waffles) are a divine creation, perfectly paired with their delicious coffee. “Undoubtably the best coffee I’ve had in Massachusetts. Jejes does NOT disappoint. If you are a coffee fanatic this place is a must visit… & soon that visit will turn into a regular trip. The natural flavors that come from the beans are top notch! Thanks so much for the great pour over & espresso!“

“Dropped by Curio Coffee on a Friday morning. All of the metered parking was already taken at this time, so I had to park a bit further and walk, so keep that in mind.I liked the rustic vibes and brown/black/green color scheme of the inside. Free Wi-Fi, so there were quite a few customers working, though there is a "no computers" policy on weekends.I ordered an everything with cream cheese Liège waffle and a miso caramel latte to go, which took about 5-6 minutes to prepare. The waffle tasted just as good as it smelled. There was a good topping to waffle ratio, and the waffle was crunchy on the outside but chewy on the inside. I recommend toasting it if you are taking it home, as the cream cheese tasted that much better slightly melted. The miso caramel latte, on the other hand, was disappointing. The miso caramel flavor was not prominent, so it just tasted like a regular hot coffee. I also think it was a bit pricy.Overall, I would pass on the coffee next time but would be interested in trying another waffle if I come back.“

“Busy but delicious. Had a walnut rose and pistachio croissant, both were delicious. The best part though was their house Latte - honey and halva flavour - I came back again the next day for another. Very busy, couldn’t find a place to sit but was happy to walk 3 minutes to Boston Common in the sunshine.“

“What an innovative and cool concept - cinema + coffee. The coffee is off the charts here - from the selection of beans, to the roasting on site, to the brewing. It’s all science, and they nail it here. Baked goods are exquisite, and the service is unparalleled. You won’t find a better coffee shop in boston.“

“Friends and I met up for brunch. I do recommend the Filet-o-Fish which comes with a side of fries. It is sooo good! I love the food portions as well, size is just right.Sauvage Mama Breakfast plate is your full breakfast, while you can skip the avocado toast and opt for something else. One of us is vegetarian and said it did not hit the spot. The atmosphere of the restaurant definitely a Parisian cafe! Brought back memories! Will come back for the food, drinks, and ambiance.“
“I liked this brewery. The interior design was kind of industrial noir but with a friendly feeling and the layout for seating was done well. Very excited I got a seat at the window bar top. Bar staff were friendly and knowledgeable. They had a unique selection of beer, a few good choices with high ABV, and some beer types I’ve never heard of. I didn’t get one but they do offer flights. They also had a selection of games you could play at your table. The street parking was tricky but that’s because of the Cambridge and not the brewery’s fault.“
“I tried two of the three vegetarian options. The Rabe TJ was excellent. The Greens Shallot was a tad bland. Will try the grilled cheese on my next visit. It’s just a walk-up window on the street, so plan on eating at the park down the street or taking it home.Vegetarian options: Three vegetarian sandwich options“

“This place is my partner and I’s go-to coffee shop ever since moving to the area a couple of months ago. The lemon chicken panini is so melty and full of flavor. You get plenty of product for your money. It’s worth the price. The espresso is delicious. It gets pretty packed on the weekends and sometimes it’s a good 15-25 minute wait but it’s entirely worth it and the quality is consistent regardless of how swamped they may be in the mornings. It’s a very friendly, “mom and pop” atmosphere and you don’t see that much anymore these days. Keep up the good work!“

“Hands down my favorite coffee place in the area. My friend flew in from DC and we needed coffee and food immediately and ended up at bōm dough and we are so glad we did!Food: My friend enjoyed the breakfast gnocchi which caught our attention because it is not something you can get everywhere. It was extremely flavorful and she would definitely get it again! I got the crack chicken sandwich on pão de queijo and it was AMAZING.Coffee: I got a White Chocolate Pistachio latte and my friend got a plain Pistachio Latte. Both were incredibly good. If you enjoy sweeter coffee I would recommend the White Chocolate version, whereas if you prefer a more espresso forward drink with a little sweetness I would suggest the plain Pistachio latte. This immediately made it to my favorites list and I will be going back soon to try other things on the menu!“

“Cafe in the AM and brewery in the PM. During the day, the back taproom is a quiet working/studying space, which is amazing. Lots of seats to spread out and many people were working on laptops when we were there, but also many people having conversations. It wasn't too loud. We got breakfast burritos, flavorful drip coffee, and a delicious almond milk latte. Didn't get to try the cookies but they looked amazing. The food was superb and the staff are awesome! Easy spot to bike to.“
“Tried their California location prior and had a good time so I decided to checkout the one in Boston. It was defiantly good, not too spacious but good for the area. The staff was fine, nothing out of the ordinary. The donuts did taste fresh and were really delicious. The fruity pebble donut was my favorite along with the cheese only Korean corn dog!“

“This place is what Starbucks was in the 90s! It has a great vibe and plenty of room. It's a must for me every time I'm in the area. They also have a fantastic selection of gluten-free options. They even ask you when you order if it's a preference or an allergy. If it's an allergy, they prepare your food in a separate area to prevent cross contamination.Vegetarian options: Chia seed pudding, quinoa salad, green salads, soup. If you are comfortable with dairy and eggs, grilled cheese, quiche, egg sandwiches.Dietary restrictions: Great gluten-free options.“

“A peaceful little spot in the middle of the busy city. Got my blood drawn (not here) and came here seeking solace.Devin smiled at me like an old friend who knows a secret. He made me a crepe and coffee and brought it to my table with a wise smile. The is this heaven crepe. Tastes like something I ate as a child. I don’t remember what it was, I just remember the joy it made me feel and the feeling my parents might get divorced soon. The plate was beautifully put together. I ate it like a ravenous stray dog. I feel my blood being restored. May only kindness walk through you door.Great place for a date.Kid-friendliness: Very annoying crying baby, nobody complained ?“

“Love this place. It’s my refuge in the mornings before going into work.I’m so glad they changed the music to more mellow sounds like Slowdive, Cigarettes After Sex, and REM. That with a lower volume made the ambience that much better and more welcoming to folks wanting to quiet their minds or have a conversation. We just moved here from LA and I’m glad we found this place. Great food, lovely staff, interesting smart clientele, and peaceful ambiance. Highly Recommended.“

“I went there with my girl friends, we reached just when they had closer their kitchen. Online the restaurant open time is till 11PM, we reached around 8:45 and they had already closed the kitchen. It was sad that the kitchen closes so soon but upon request they took our order and served us with good food. It's a nice cozy place, they serve coffee till late in the night around 10/10:30PM but wish they served it till 11. It's just on higher side with respect to $. Wish they get down the prices a bit atleast. I ordered a falafel plate I got 4 pieces of falafel , with a bit of hummus and salad and I paid around 15$ for it, which I felt was a bit too much.“

“The major disappointment is that I didn't try Golidlox Bagels sooner!!!I eat a bagel every single day and it's important that they freeze well! Some bagels are AMAZING fresh and hot, but have a weird texture when frozen and popped in the toaster. I'm constantly on the hunt for dense, delicious bagels that fit the bill. Well - almost 5 years later, it's Goldilox.Their flavors / toppings are jam packed - the poppyseed has seeds on top and bottom, the everything is covered 100% throughout the bagel (and no fennel seeds yay!), the sesame is rolled in seeds. No skimping on toppings here!!! They're so great fresh, but PERFECT frozen + later toasted. I am so grateful that I found them!!! EVERYONE GO TO GOLDILOX!!!!“

“Best banh mi I’ve ever tasted! We tried the shrimp and the fried chicken versions, both were very fresh with flavorful sauces. “Hands down the best bakery in the ENTIRE WORLD and if you can’t get behind that it’s definitely the best bakery in the greater Boston area (even featured in The Boston Globe). I have had almost everything thing this bakery has to offer and I can confidently, whole-heartedly, swear that they can do not wrong (there was this one pastry I didn’t like but it had to be a me problem). The owner has perfected the art of flakiness and any croissant like pastry will leave trail of happiness and crumbs. The staff is incredible as well, true gems. Each visit of mine consists of warm greetings and endearing smiles as they fill my bag with delightful treats, sometime I even get an extra morning bun. My favorite is the everything croissant, an explanation will do no justice you’ll just have to try it yourself and you’ll want to get there early before they sell out. Another favorite of mine are the unique cardamom swirls. I bet you’ve never heard of such a thing. Again you’ll just have to go try it. In the afternoon they serve pizza with brilliant (vegetarian friendly) topping combinations and fabulous flavor. Furthermore, I the bakery is women owned, queer owned, LGBTQIA+ plus friendly, and is more welcoming than Starbucks and Tatte adjacent places. I can not speak highly enough of this bakery and if you’ve been searching for something new look no further. The worst thing, I’ve experience are the rude customers that come in at near closing and expect extra efforts from an already amazing hardworking early rising staff. Please go and support. They deserve it and you deserve a treat.“

“Hands down one of my favorite restaurants in the greater Boston area. Delicious food and quick service, just remember to bring cash and some quarters for the meters nearby! Staff is friendly but not overbearing despite the close quarters, plus they're very quick with orders and help if you need anything. I've never been disappointed by the food here and its one of my go-to restaurants to bring guests when they visit from out of town. My usual is the challah French toast, which is perfectly cooked and sweet. The home fries are amazing too. So don't miss this place for the perfect "home cooked" breakfast.“

“Finally, I tried a breakfast sandwich from Mike and Pattys in Bow Market. It was delicious and loaded with flavor and ingredients but the sandwich wasn't too messy to eat and the bread didn't get too soggy even with the different sauces.I'm not exactly sure why the sourdough bread was an extra dollar vs the multigrain because they looked pretty much the same, but I do recommend trying it out!“
“Stopped by here to grab some sandwiches to go for my son and myself on a busy, activity packed Saturday. We got an Italian and a Roast Beef and Turkey on heroes. Very generous portions, packed with fresh crispy lettuce, tomatoes and onions. Nice pickles and hot peppers too, upon request.Very satisfying sandwich. There were 3 families seated enjoying sandwiches and the sandwiches all looked delicious. The pastrami also smelled delicious. I have to go back there to try it next time. :)“

“Recreo is truly special. I don’t visit nearly as often as I’d like due to my work schedule, but every time I do it’s a highlight in my day. Recreo is known as West Roxbury’s living room and it’s easy to see why. The owners Hector and Miriam have created a welcoming space for all to stop in and connect over coffee from the family farm in Nicaragua. Truly from farm to your cup! The barista team is friendly, knowledgeable and committed to making top quality hand crafted beverages. My favorite is a whole milk latte with an extra shot. I usually enjoy a mixed berry scone or mini blueberry loaf with it. Baked goods are made locally and are always fresh and tasty. There’s also a great selection beans for sale (freshly roasted on site). Eden has given me great suggestions on what to try at home for cold brew!“

“I just went for the first time, and it’s now the only place I’ll go around North Station and the Garden. In terms of food, they offer a handful of pastry and panini options. I had the the Pistachio Croissant, and it was absolutely unreal. For drinks, they offer 3-4 coffee bean types of differing tastes and smoothness for all types of coffee beverages. I tried just a plain Naples latte, and there was nothing plain about it.Do yourself a favor, and come here whenever you can.“

“I've been looking for a good scone, so O'Some Cafe has been on my list, especially since they have some unique flavors. There was plenty of metered parking. The inside is small, so expect to take things to go. I got the salted toffee latte, onion/mushroom/parmesan (?) scone, and yuzu pound cake.- Salted toffee latte: I was disappointed with this because I didn't taste any of the salted toffee, so I pretty much paid for an overpriced hot coffee. I probably should have gone with the matcha strawberry recommendation, but that drink only comes iced, and I wanted something to warm me up at the time.- Onion/mushroom/parmesan scone: The flavors were subtle, but the scone overall was ok. I liked how moist it was, but I think it would taste better warm. I wouldn't say it was the best scone I've had, but I'd be interested in trying a sweet one next time.- Yuzu pound cake: This was my favorite item that I ordered. The yuzu flavor was prominent throughout the pound cake, and the glaze on top was the perfect amount of sweetness. The pound cake was also moist. The workers were busy prepping the holiday boxes, but they were both very nice. I'll attribute the latte miss due to the distractedness and would be open to trying something else if I come back since the pictures of their drinks do look good.“

“The drinks are good; however the space really needs some help. There are over 12 tables in a tiny space, packed against the high top tables, and this makes the space feel SO packed and uninviting. Really need someone to think about the design of this space and it would be 100x better. Maybe a communal table and then some small tables. Just some small tweaks would be a huge difference for this actually to feel like a good meeting spot.“
