“Always a reliable place for excellent food. The food seems to be made from scratch with care. I haven't found anything on the menu that isn't unique and delicious. The eating area is cozy and comfortable. Breakfast to dinner you can't go wrong eating here.“
“Can't go wrong with the falafel or combo pocket! Food is always excellent. Unfortunately, several times recently I've tried to dine at the Easthampton location and they have been closed, despite signage stating their hours of operation. Service at the Northampton location has always been lovely, but I have found staff very impersonal at the Easthampton location, I think mostly just due to how busy they are and how hard they are working. I hope to be able to visit again soon when open!“
“Great atmosphere, great food, and great service! Emmanuel was an absolute treat! Tuesday “Date Night” special is a screaming good deal too. Appetizer, 2 salads, 2 entrees, dessert, AND a bottle of wine, $85 total! I was prepared for $85 each! Oh and there was a gentleman playing piano and fugal horn!!! 5 stars“
“This one hardly needs a review because there's always a line and for good reason. We are obsessed with the yellow rice, and usually get the plate with chicken or falafel. An awesome meal. The sauces are super and the hots are very spicy! Love the pickled vegetables too. A local staple that I hope will remain for a long time.“
“My new favorite restaurant! Went to Waxwing for the first time tonight. We shared the oysters, green salad, pasta Bolognese and Fluke special, chocolate torte, butterscotch pot de creme Every dish was thoughtfully prepared and delicious. Great craft cocktail options and wine. The atmosphere was very intimate, the music was great, the service was exceptional. Did I say the service was exceptional? We felt very attended to from the minute we walked through the door. Very welcoming.“
“The appetizers were excellent, the warm olive and hummus plate was delicious and the little stacked chickpea logs very tasty. The entrees were somewhat disappointing, the delicacy of the crab cake was overtaken by the acidic slaw and the basil oil. The layered dish of tofu , hummus and eggplant was marred by chewy, dry slices of the egg plant.Service was ok but not remarkable.Very good espresso. Drinks at the bar were great.“
“Wherever I travel I seek out local family businesses and food experiences. Pita Pockets is my favorite falafal of many I've tried over many miles. Every time I come to NoHo I stop here at least once or twice on a weekend trip. The flavors are unique, the vegan falafals are generous in serving and best of all the people behind the counter serve up a smile and advice on how to build your falafal! I just have to remember you can't put a tip on the credit card so from now on it is cash only to take care of people that take care of me! YUM!“
