“Went for late lunch (1pm) but still had to wait for a seat. Wait time was about 15 minutes and so easy as there's plenty of seating to accommodate all.I had the quick lunch. Bowl of soup (fish chowder) and salad with fresh GREEN spring mix & great handmade dressing!Parking: The attached parking garage is pay per hour, BUT the first hour is Free and it's $.75 per hour after!Kid-friendliness: All are welcome.Wheelchair accessibility: Garage is 5 stories high with an elevator exiting on the 3rd level. This gets you to a bridge from the garage to the level of the mall building right where the restaurant is located. Easy-to-use design with buttons for opening the doors.”
“We were able to be seated right away, service was welcoming. The server was very knowledgeable in the foods and drinks. I had the Panda drink which was delicious, the cucumber salad was so fresh and the dressing had a slight spice to it but nothing over powering. The smash burger was delicious, very tender and juicy the Tellus fries were fresh and crisp. The cheesecake was also so flavorful and fresh. The music was not too loud, I will say the space is a little tight for a party of four on a round small table, but overall a great spot. I will definitely be back.”
“I hosted a surprise 30th birthday party here and I cannot say enough good things about it. Jon, the owner, was extremely helpful, professional, and flexible with all of my needs. The food provided for the buffet was AMAZING and the atmosphere was all around 10/10. I would recommend JJs to everyone! Especially if you’re looking to host an event.”
“The food is great! Gluten free options are available too. Service is also great. Prices seem to have gone up in the last year however the quality of the food makes it justifiable. I highly recommend trying the desert crêpes!”

“Had one of their IPA beers at Hutghi’s at the Nook in Westfield,MA and was blown away. I love it when that happens! Came back home to Michigan and disappointed can’t find this beer anywhere. I believe it was The IPA. Super delicious with a deep flavor. Must be the hops. I may have to drive out east and stock up on these folks beer. Glass was pretty cool too.”
“Good variety of good beer. Munchies ordered from there filled the need to have something in my belly before trying most of their beers. Chill vibe and nice atmosphere.Service was good and friendly.”
“Incredible! I had the eggplant tofu dish, and it completely exceeded my expectations. I can’t believe it’s taken me years of living in Northampton to discover this gem. Will be back!”

“i could go to pita pocket everyday for the rest of my life and i would be the happiest man alive! always the kindest people you’ve ever met serving you the best food you’ll ever have, their falafel always cheers me up no matter what.”
“While visiting town for a wedding, I was at another establishment that referred me to The Green Room saying it was a 'prohibition style speakeasy' and a 'whisky bar.'Once I arrived, I struggled to find the connection between The Green Room and any speakeasy I've been to. The door is well marked on a side street, the walls are straight painted drywall, and the décor, nothing prohibition style. It was nice and welcoming, but not what i expected. The bar... they did have a fairly good whisky menu. In addition, the bartenders were friendly to talk to and we're willing to chat a little and come up with a creative, crafty cocktail to suite the occasion.Although not prohibition or speakeasy in my book, this was still a great place for a cocktail that anyone reading this should checkout!”

“I absolutely love this D'Angelo in Northampton. The staff is awesome and super friendly and pays attention to details, even remember my name just after a cpl visits there. My subs are always on point and delicious. The place is always clean and smells great.”
“I had the mushroom salad and tortellini soup, both were fantastic. Parking can be tricky but there is a lot across the street to use. Service was fast, food came out quick, service was perfectly attentive but not bothersome. This is my choice of restaurants when I go to Northampton. Love it. My friend had a personal sized pizza and said it was really good as well. Dine in confidence!”

“I've been going here for a few years continuously, and i love it every time! Service is polite and fast. Food always tastes fresh and delicious. They welcome all age. My toddler is able to come and eat without feeling like I'm bothering someone with her wiggling, sitting, and standing. Pick up and eat in service great!”
“One of the best bagels I've ever had was the whole wheat everything bagel from this place! The atmosphere inside is really cool and the service was quick even though they were quite busy. Would come here again if I'm ever back in this area!”

“Stopped in for coffee and drinks-cool cocktail menu and wonderful lattes and cappuccino. So good I went back for take out later in the week vs Starbucks. Nice couches for sitting w friends or at the modern bar. It’s in the same building as a dispensary so a little hard to find, but worth it. I think it is also the only place for drinks on that part of town.”

“Super friendly servers. The food was amazing. The coffees were great. My party got the chai, vanilla latte, and the hazelnut alcoholic coffee. Everyone loved it.”
“Best burger , fries and milkshake I have had in a long time. I had a basic burger but there are some very creative versions. Chicken sandwiches also. Stop in for a comfortable and relaxing meals.Informal and close ”

“I just went today and found it to be a very unique experience with low prices on delicious food. Truly a hidden gem. At this restaurant, which has been open since 1977, students do everything from designing the menus to prepping the food itself, to ordering food from suppliers, and more generally keeping everything running. They rotate roles to learn the trade. I had the steak sandwich and the clam chowder and my total bill was under $9. I'd recommend checking their website and calendar and going as soon as they open at 10:45am. Bring cash. The website says "Seating in the dining room is currently not available" but we were able to sit when we arrived so I guess their policy changed.”
“Love their food, always a great dine in experience, but take out was a nightmare. Waited an extra 30 minutes for our order. Ordered online at 7:09, estimated pickup of 20-35 minutes. Yes, they were busy, but food was not ready until after 8. Lots of other people also waiting for food. Perhaps update your online ordering system? Stewed beef soup, Orange Beef, Seaweed Salad. All very tasty. Hot and Sour Soup was cold, (and we live 2 blocks away.)”
“The only Indian restaurant I will go to that has consistently met my standards of quality and flavor every single time no matter when I order. Do not skip out on getting the naan as it’s some of the best i have ever had because they do such a great job of seasoning their food. Their chicken tikka massala is on the sweeter side but I have them add in a ton of red pepper and brings it to my level of desired heat as I love spicy. I also appreciate the level of care put into packaging the orders where things could get messy quickly if the order isnt packaged right, but they’ve mastered this. My only gripe is that the staff could be more welcoming when guests come in as it has felt awkward a few times when picking up takeout. Highly recommend and will certainly continue to order from them.”

“Dining at T. ROOTS, I learned that curry fried rice was something my life had been missing this whole time. Prompt service, and all the food came out fresh and hot. Sweet potato fries were PERFECT!”
“An impressive array of drink selections, this bar stands as a beacon of mixological mastery. Behind the bar, seasoned bartenders wield their expertise with finesse, concocting cocktails that elevate the drinking experience. The intimate space, while adding to the cozy ambiance, can quickly become cramped during peak hours. As the evening unfolds and the crowd swells, finding a seat becomes a game of musical chairs. To ensure a spot, a reservation is highly recommended.”

“We arrived at 5:50pm. We did not have a reservation but were lucky to get the high top table option, which was only reserved for 7:30pm. Our party of 4 had a fantastic time. We ordered several smaller plates to share: whipped ricotta, meatballs, Caesar salad, roasted beets. All top notch and each delivered by a different friendly and professional staff member. We also shared the Rigatoni and Duck Breast. SO DELICIOUS.This was the first time going but will not be our last. Definitely 100% recommend this place. Hardworking people who are producing quality food with a friendly atmosphere.”
“Food is great and portion sizes are substantial. Burgers are robust, flavorful and toppings are just as fresh. Highly recommended the wings whethere boneless or bone in as the chickens tender and juicy with a phenomenal selection of sauces to accompany them. Beer selection is fair and the dessert options are also very good. Friendly, welcoming, attentive waitstaff also helps add to the experience of feeling valued at the restaurant! Definitely will return and highly recommend for a date night or even a family dinner.”
“The food is euphoric... it warms the soul Kind of food! The service is calm yet attentive and refreshing. I could be here all day listening to their playlist and enjoying my Bloody Mary and cafe con leche!”
“Nice. Tea. No table service. Display case with sugary egg-infused desserts. Definitely not made on site. The tea fad is catching in the 5-college area like coffee houses 30 years ago. Without anything fancy or unique to Nice Tea, I'll be surprised if they can stay in business for more than 2 years.2 bathrooms, by binary orientation/ gender specification. It's NICE, but there are better places to get tea. What is the draw?”
“Stopped in for lunch and ordered the Cashew Nut Lunch Special with tofu. It was quite good and was a decent-sized lunch portion. In my personal preference, the dish could have been spicier. The sauce was delicious otherwise.Clean restaurant and restroom.”
“Outstanding food, service, drinks & atmosphere!! My favorites are the sticky ribs, salmon, dinner, Caesar salad, & the roasted vegetables!! Pizza is always amazing and cooked to perfection.”
“I went for dinner with some girlfriends. We all got hibachi and sushi - good portions, good food, employees were very nice. I was a bit shocked that they automatically add 18% gratuity to all checks and if you want to do an additional tip it needs to be cash. It was convenient and it ensures a good tip, I just wish I had known prior since I would’ve brought cash as well.”
“First time here. took senior parents for moms bday. food was great but service better, our waiter was awesome, great listener and accomadating to our needs due to some diet restrictions. the highlight actually came from a poorly cooked sirloin for my wife, the manager came over helped her order a better steak option for what she wanted and even topped off our wine for the inconvenience. 100% would recommend.”
“Pizza Amore's slices are crisp and delicious! What steals the show, are their homemade pita pockets. I can honestly say that falafel homemade pita pocket was one of the best falafel sandwhiches I've tasted to date.”

“A tiny Japanese restaurant, large on serving the freshest ingredients. Each dish is plated to please the eye and satisfy the palette. Upon walking in, you are made to feel welcomed by a sushi chef with a joyous generous heart. Well worth returning to often!”
“I highly recommend Fitzwilly’s Restaurant. The staff is exceptional, providing excellent service. The value for money is outstanding, and the dishes, particularly the onion soup and the fish, are absolutely delicious. We will definitely return there next time!”

Takeout Restaurants
“Went in to get slice of pizza, great prices, big slices, unique and delicious options even on the per slice, very clean, staff extremely friendly and helpful. Great food and service will definitely go again. Note; wheelchair accessible from street - narrow length wise, tight squeeze to dine in but I had a walker and sat comfortably at tables in front.Vegetarian options: The slice I had was loaded with delicious vegetables and so filling couldn’t finish slice. Did not view menu from a vegetarian perspective but depending if you include cheese- there is enough to choose from.Wheelchair accessibility: Able to access from street- most of restaurant is narrow bar length and pizza displays views are high but friendly staff I believe would accommodate for selection. Would not advise eat in during busy times.”
“Bummed that pizza is gone. Best pizza I had, it was impossibly tasty. Wonder why they took it out, it obviously was a good seller...Hoping they change their mind, I'm sure it would make many people happy.Last few times I visited, I met a somewhat grumpy and somewhat rushed service. All that said they know dough.”
“We hadn't been in a minute and I'd forgotten how delightful it is. Fun confections even when the weather is cold.Tried the dragon's breath and had a hoot blowing icy breath at each otherThen tried lovely mealovely mid order ice cream rolls with toppings galore.Plus the folks who work there and run it are incredibly sweet And my son wants it known he actually won at the claw machine.”
“Hadn't been here since it changed owners. We were really happy with it. Service is absolutely top notch. Food was great. The menu is totally fresh and new. And they haven't messed with the charm of the original decor. We'll be going back soon!”

“Awesome experience wonderful service fantastic coffee but everything was cooked this morning. The end of the day we got huge peanut butter, chocolate chip cookies and blueberry muffins and fresh croissants as well as three coffees Two hot total 21.00. Will definitely stop here again if I had a chance while visiting my grandma.”
“The GF waffles were out of this world... soft and fluffy. I'm very sensitive to gluten cross- contamination, and it was reassuring to me that the staff person was knowledgeable and asked me if I had a gluten allergy and needed separate preparation for my order. They also are taking COVID precautions seriously. They are requiring proof of vaccination in order to dine in (this is clearly posted inside and outside of restaurant), and while at my table I overheard a staff person asking an unmasked person to put on a mask. Could not have had a more enjoyable experience... sad I don't live in the area!”

“Dear Tart/Catalpa Coffee, I was a regular at CatalpaCoffee for years but because of your reduced evening hours have had to switch to Ana Banderia on Main St. I am there now and it is bustling and full of customers at 6:16 pm on a cold Thursday in February. It makes me sad that Catalpa is not open and bustling as well.”
“I highly recommend Fitzwilly’s Restaurant. The staff is exceptional, providing excellent service. The value for money is outstanding, and the dishes, particularly the onion soup and the fish, are absolutely delicious. We will definitely return there next time!”
“I stop by here every few years when I pass through the area. I was there about 3 weeks ago and as always the food was great and I will always come back. And the Turkish coffee is absolutely delightful!”
“What great food! And the staff were amazingly hospitable. They were very accommodating with dietary needs and attentive to our table. We didn’t smell like a curry house when we came home, I don’t know how that was possible. Very aromatic food.”
“Everything was good but they should tell you when the salad is a $6 up charge per person. Waiter simply asked what salad would you like? when ordering no mention of potential up change.”
“I moved away from the pioneer valley about 5 years ago now, but without fail if I'm back home for the holidays then I make sure to get Yokohama's tantan ramen! I've yet to find a bowl half as good on the west coast ?”

“Pickle backs are the go-to here along with the fresh squeezed orange juice ? After working late, going here with some friends to have some good drinks and a few rounds of pool is always a great time.”
“I love this food. It's amazing. The service is always pretty fast and the food is beyond amazing. It's incredibly authentic and flavorful. I always order the tacos (which are rolled like burritos but I don't care). The establishment is clean and so are the restrooms. The prices are pretty fair too. I'm a student nearby so I always go here when I get the chance.”
“Absolutely delicious ice cream with great service! The employees are sweet and hardworking. The decorations are well themed and the interior is bright and colorful. Definitely would recommend to anyone in the area!”
“What an excellent experience at Nourish: especially the food prep and service. The team appeared to be moving like a well-oiled machine. *Loved* the avocado toast with egg- it's much more complex and tasty than the name suggests. Also, try the cashew cheese- delightful! It is quite pricey but worth the mula. It's a bit of California right here Massachusetts. Like a quick, inexpensive vacation! :)”
“This Subway is cozily nestled between the checkout lanes and pharmacy at Walmart in the Big Y plaza, and let me tell you, it's one of the good ones.I've ordered online at this sattelite maybe twice a month for the past 6 months, and they Never Get it Wrong. My orders are complex normally, yet never have they ever misplaced even a single black olive. All of the ingredients are as fresh as they say they are, and you can taste it! I highly recommend the Sweet Onion Chicken Teriyaki, footlong (of course), on toasted italian herb/cheese, with banana peppers, red onion, cucumber and lettuce, plus the seasonings of your preference.Enjoy!”
“The cafe vanilla was one of the best cups of coffee I've ever had during my travels! Atmosphere is a little chaotic depending o the time of day. Great place though!”
“Very clean! The service was great. Menu is as the name indicates, mainly wurst. They offer a vegan sausage that was decent and lots of sides/apps that were delicious.”
“Best pizza restaurant I've found here in Western Mass (especially the Northampton area) fresh ingredients make their salads AMAZING!!! Onion rings are a must ?. Their Greek style pizza is my favorite.”
“One of the more iconic "generic" pizza shops. They got decent specials. Buy one get one large and thier baked dinner dishes are pretty decent portion. If your looking for a quick bite on lunch or have a few people over and want some fast decent take out this is good stop. I will say the more you go and the more they recognize you they'll hook it up. Just remember to tip. I always do. P.S. they dont take cards but there is a ATM but the fee is a little high. So bring cash if you remember to.”
“The drinks and snacks are incredible, you get everything you ordered within 1 minute. The people who work there were very nice. This Teahouse in particular has sort of a homey feeling to it. Lastly the quality of the drinks is amazing while still being generally cheap.”
“The food was off the chain. The service was great no long wait. As soon as you walked in the owner makes you feel welcome. The free parking makes the this experience so amazing . You don't feel the rush to leave because your worried about getting a parking ticket. It's free parking, which means I can sit back relax and enjoy my amazing food. I'm definitely going back. This is now my favorite place to get food.”
“The best place to chat and to get great food.Vegetarian options: Great foodParking: Depending on the time of day it is easy to find parking.Wheelchair accessibility: Not sure”
“Had a burrito the size of my face. It was great . We enjoyed the salsa so much we got a large container to go. It was early in the day and we were the only ones dining inside but saw plenty of take out orders , everyone was helpful and friendly. Zero complaints other than I’m out of delicious salsa and have to go get more ? will definitely eat here again!”
“Today was my first visit to Shelburne Falls Coffee Roasters in Northampton, MA.I really liked the atmosphere with fun music playing and the scenic Northampton center of town so visible through the large windows in the cafe. The pricing was fair. I enjoyed most especially the fresh orange juice. The staff were very kind and friendly, too.”

Bela
“Bela is a vegan staple in Northampton. They serve wholesome, delicious food that is never boring and always hits the spot. The small dining room makes for a cozy, intimate atmosphere. The staff are welcoming and friendly. Also the cakes are amazing!Just take care to bring cash with you. :)”
“Nice decor. Too many eateries are cold and bland, however the atmosphere here is on theme without being tacky. The food is great. Sure, your boomer uncle who exaggerates that week he spent in Nola will claim he’s had better Cajun/Creole but for the area it’s probably the best (and only?) option. The staff and overall service is prompt and cordial without doing that over the top, 1980s, obnoxiously bubbly stewardess act.Only suggestion: Love the marching band/big band jams but that region’s musicality runs deep. Expand that roster. The crab cakes Benedict is the best eggs benny around.”
“We tried Mexicalito for lunch yesterday, and one of us ended up getting a brunch item as well. The food was delicious and flavorful, and the handmade tortillas were a treat! So thankful for the fantastic vegetarian options as well! Jose takes care of you! Thanks for a delightful meal, we’ll be back!”

“Packerds is usually not to bust during the week so it's nice to stop in for an IPA and some games of pool, there are 2 floors for pool one being play by the game and the above is play pool by the hour. The is also darts the bar tenders are friendly and the food is ? delicious. On the weekends it get pretty crowded don't expect a play by game table to be open your better of renting by the hour all in all its a fun place.”
“We went out last night to celebrate our anniversary and it was a fantastic time. I need to put a shout out to Lilly who helped make so enjoyable. The food is always great but when have a server that is great at what she does it wraps up the night. Thank you Lilly for your wonderful service.”
“Several generations of clients have been praising Bluebonnet diner for it's great food, hearty service and warm atmosphere. This is by all means a classic diner with all the classic menu items. The locomotive theme is topped by an electric train that spans around one of the spaces and kept kids entertained. Not too many Vegetarian or vegan options other than the well known pancakes or 2-egg-any-style options. Restrooms and free parking are available. This place can get busy so you may need to wait before being seated.”

The food was also excellent. I will definitely be coming back oftenVegetarian options: There isn't a vegetarian section per se, but there were multiple vegetable based dishes.”
“This place is busy even on a Tuesday night in a snowstorm! Goes to show you how good it is. The pizza is always very tasty. The interior is welcoming and comfortable - feels kind of 80's? in a good and nostalgic way :-)”
“Toasted Owl is my go-to place in NOHO to watch sports. Service is always pleasant and efficient. French onion soup and their burgers are very good. Can't go wrong coming here.”
“This place has been a family favorite since I was a kid. My tastes have changed a lot since then, but there's something on the menu for everyone here. I used to be a picky eater (cheese pizza) and now I'm having a hard time deciding what to eat because it's ALL GREAT! The white goat pizza is a go-to for me and my sister when we're dining together. Eggplant Parmesan is awesome. I could eat my body weight in zucchini fries. This is such a warm, casual atmosphere and the service is really good and friendly. We always feel at home at Roberto's.”

“We live in town and this place can be hit or miss. Tonight showed why your server makes the difference. We had an immediate connection with Dustin and he not only made sure the food was cooked to order but did the extras that made you feel welcome. We had the short rib ravioli and the scampi. We NEVER get dessert and tonite we did. Something is going right and if they're smart - Spoleto's will keep it rolling...”

“God, how I missed Shelburne Falls Coffee Roasters! I used to visit the one on Route 2 near Shelburne Falls, but it's been over 10 years since I've been in that area. I forgot that Northampton has not one but two locations. I visited the one on King Street, and the nice human behind the counter listened to me rave about how much I missed SFCR and their coffee. The place is small but so cute and easy to get in and out of from King Street. I highly recommend their coffee. I live in CT now, about two hours away, but will definitely be ordering some beans on their website. Nothing like a fresh cup of Shelburne Falls Coffee Roasters coffee! I'll be back.”

It was early in the day and we were the only ones dining inside but saw plenty of take out orders , everyone was helpful and friendly. Zero complaints other than I’m out of delicious salsa and have to go get more ? will definitely eat here again!”
“I absolutely love this D'Angelo in Northampton. The staff is awesome and super friendly and pays attention to details, even remember my name just after a cpl visits there. My subs are always on point and delicious. The place is always clean and smells great.”
