“Great place, phenomenal food, generous portions. My dish was a lot prettier before I sank my fork into it, lol! My hubby pretty well demolished his bbq chicken (which he says is the best he’s had in years), mac n cheese, and collards before I could snap a good photo. “I had the pleasure to finally check this place out since I was nearby. The place is easy to find, plenty of parking on any side streets. The woman who took my order was nice and very busy. She got my order correct and I received my takeout fast. I ordered the meatloaf dinner and I was amazed by the portions. My side order of mashed potatoes were basic and so was the collard greens. I did get cornbread with my meal and that was also basic as well. I will return again but I will not go out of my way there anytime soon“
“If you've never tried Family Affair, do yourself a favor and try it soon! The food is always delicious, I always make sure to order a chicken and waffles (and make sure to ask about the specials because their creativity for their waffles is through the roof!). Throw in some other classic comforts like pulled pork, or creative twists like steak and cheese egg rolls, and you'll find there really is something for everyone! I've had the privilege of using them as a catering service, going in with friends for a bite to eat, or grabbing take out and each and every time the service was above and beyond. Their friendly and caring staff and owners really live up to the "Family" name.“
