“Warm atmosphere & high quality restaurant! Very friendly service and fellow patrons, everything was delicious, can't wait to return. Cozy and charming inside, don't be fooled by its location next to a 7/11. Bar seating for about 10 people, you can scope out the scene from outside :)Parking: Downtown parking lot is right outside the restaurant! Bonus: it's currently free (winter)“
“Winter lunch visitor. Second time here and have left both times with bread and bakery items because it’s not close.Staff friendly and helpful.Food great( I had a buffalo chix wrap)I spent over $50 for lunch (2 people)and take home treats.Cute little place. One can imagine it is very busy in the summer with beach goers. Here’s my only gripe: No bathroom.A sit down establishment with food, coffee and full bakery and no bathroom to wash your hands etc. Strange.I was told I could go to the rotary to use the Dunkin Donuts bathroom.Seriously? One establishment sending bathroom users to another establishment….If they are so concerned about use of the bathroom by non patrons, then have a key code on the door that customers have to ask for and change the code weekly. Also place a sign on the door NO PUBLIC BATHROOMS.Wondering how they skirt this issue, because in Massachusetts (CMR.240) it appears to be required in this type of establishment.“
“We went there for an anniversay dinner, new to the area. We were looking for place with a nice atmosphere, above averge service and food. We did not know what to expect, but this place hit the mark on all three. Located in the Mirbeau Inn and Spa, the setting is a French Country Manor, elegantly decorated and quiet so you can have a conversation without loud noise or TV distractions. The host knew it was our anniversary and sat us at the best table in the house, directly in front of the fireplace. Upon being seated, we were promptly greeded by our server, presenting rhe menus along with an extensive wine list. High end cocktails, (even mocktails) and a good craft beer selection got us going. If you have ever been offered bread at a restuarant, it does not compare to the outstanding hot popovers with butter and honey brought to us while browsing the menu. The menu is French themed, with soups, apps, salads, and entrees, all with sides worthy of the high end experience we were looking for. The menu is not large, but has everything you would need for an intimate dinner. We started with a crock of onion soup, well executed and right out of the oven. For meal I had the filet mignon, my wife had the lobster raviolis from the appetizer menu upsized to an entree portion. The filet was a perfect medium rare as ordered, well seared and seasoned with a great brandy sauce. The lobster raviolis were obviously hand made very large and full of lobster, with a delicate sauce that was not too thick or thin. Price is on the high end, but worth every penny as both were the best we have had in a very long time. We reviewed the dessert menu but were full after the satisfying entrees. The server also commented on our anniversary and brought over a complimentary desert of chocolate and macarrons. A perfect conclusion to our experience.“
