“We took a wrong turn, saw a sign for artisan breads, and followed our hearts (and the signs) right to this amazing little hot spot. There were four other clearly loyal customers in line and the mood and tone of the place was very congenial. Naturally we broke into the baked goods right away and WOW! So so good. We especially recommend the sourdough bread if that's your jam. No doubt about it, we're their newest regulars!”

Casual counter service restaurant with lots of seating in North Plymouth, next to St Mary’s church close to cherry street. Parking is in the back. Handicap accessible. Recommend.”

“September 2023-Don't miss this small local place for great food. There is limited parking but within walking distance of street parking. They have a large bar and booth seating. We didn't have to wait long since it was off season. We both began with the clam chowder. The clams were shredded which we had never had and it made the chowder lovely. Best we had on our vacation. I got the a cod fish Reuben on grilled marble rye bread. It had thousand island dressing and was served with coleslaw and skin on fries. Their dill pickles were homemade. My husband got the brisket grilled cheese with tater tots. It's served with brown gravy to dip the sandwich in. The sandwich was overloaded with brisket, so very filling. Service was great.”

“Delicious breakfast! The menu has many options to choose from. I would definitely recommend the pancakes, hash , and omelettes. The cornbread was not with the upcharge of $3. Food came out really fast, despite how busy they were (30 minute wait on Sunday morning) The waitress was very friendly. It has such a cozy atmosphere, like you're in a New Hampshire log cabin!”

“We have passed by this place a number of times and never went in. I will not pass it again. first off the beet salad and Caesar salad were wonderful. Very fresh, unique with the salad having pistachios, and the Caesar salad having these great flat croutons. Very tasty.. we ordered the margarita pizza as it was good Friday. This was exceptional with a very crispy thin crust. They had a special on a German chocolate cake which we decided to share. This was exceptional. I hope they put this on the menu as a regular. The coconut was enhanced with sea salt and caramel which made it extra special. The staff was very attentive, the atmosphere is kind of special. A mix between art deco, and 60s vibe. Very unique. Don’t pass by this place.”

“What a great place. I'm the only vegan in our group, and I still had no trouble finding options on the menu. Very good food, excellent service, great atmosphere, generous cocktails.I really enjoyed the Mapo Tofu on noodles, super delicious.My only gripe is there were no vegan desert options, but 2 cocktails and and a double espresso more than made up for it.Vegetarian options: A few vegan options on the menu, more if you're ovo-lacto. Not clearly / explicitly labeled, though.”

“I was having a bad night and this restaurant completely turned everything around for me. Starting with the Hostess who was engaging, funny and very invested in making sure we got a seat. We had a reservation but we arrived 45 minutes early. The atmosphere is quaint and comfortable. There is a pleasant chatter in the restaurant from everyone having a nice time, but it is not so loud that you can't hear everyone at your table. The staff is unsurpassed. Our waitress in particular made our night.(Ashley M) She was hilarious and thought we were fun too. (Always a good feeling!) Now for the food... We started with a fresh, delicious Caesar Salad. Followed by incredible Chicken Parm with the most delicious red sauce! We wrapped up our evening with a hugh, delicious piece of chocolate cake and Vanilla Bean Gelato. We WILL be back again and again. I regret that I waited this long to try Strega!”

“Mike the bar manager was very personable. Drinks were amazing. We had a table for 6 and we didn't feel crowded. Tips and short ribs were plentiful and flavorful. Seafood stew special had plenty of fish and the salmon dishes were cooked to perfection. We will definitely be coming back.”

“Best food I've had in a long time. Excellent from start to finish, great wine list too. Restaurant is clean and rustic, few frills but had an antique charm to it. I highly recommend the cider donut holes and the duck! The clam chowder is a neat "disassembly" of typical New England chowder, with bacon and fried clams and potato served over/in a bowl of chowder proper. It could easily be a small meal unto itself. It's clear the chef had fun with that one!Staff were friendly and welcoming. Reservations were easy to make. It's clear the Tavern is lovingly kept.The road leading to it is heinous, so drive carefully. There are more potholes and bumps in that road than a Boston street after a whole winter of plowing.Parking: Dirt and gravel lot, plenty of room for the size of the restaurant.”

“Excellent food and drinks!! The atmosphere was comfortable and cozy. The Lumber Jack cocktail was so good and also ordered the Beef Bourguignon which was delicious. The only con I would say is the service could be a bit more welcoming. Other than that I really enjoyed their cocktails and the food felt of high quality. Will be back :-)”

“I went there today and I thought they were just lovely. I got some fresh almond butter and fresh peanut butter. I haven't been into the restaurant part yet but I've been into the shops. “Visited on 3/25/2024. The new location is amazing! The staff was amazing and the food, even better! I brought my friends from out of town and I will definitely bring them back when they visit. I had one of the specials (Crunch Burger) with curly fries and it was so delicious! They cooked the burger just how i wanted it(medium rare) and it was flavor packed! We will definitely be back!”

“We used Cupcake Charlies for our July 2023 Wedding. The cupcakes were delicious and the service was great! Our guests loved the cupcakes and raved about them for days after the wedding. We enjoyed our tasting with them at the Plymouth Location- the staff answered all of our questions and worked with us throughout the process. We were able to rent a cupcake stand from them and add on delivery to the venue for a small fee. Everything was seamless. We love going back and visiting for more cupcakes!”

“I first tried Sweet Sense products for Thanksgiving. What a treat! The cake was delicious & the pumpkin bread was fabulous. Nice & moist. I've been gluten free for 15 years (Celiac) and these are definitely the best desserts I've found. Highly recommend!!!”

“Went to Mamma Mia's in the Pinehills after taking our granddaughter to see Santa and it was an excellent end to our day. We sat in the bar area and the service was outstanding. Both my wife and I ordered saltimbocca (me veal, her chicken). The food was delicious and the portions big enough that we each had a second meal left! The bartender was efficient and accurate in our order. She checked on us several times to make sure all our needs were taken care of. My wife had a martini and said it was well made.Parking: Not sure of number of spots but we had no problem finding parking on a Saturday afternoon.”

The service was on top, lots to choose from. Would definitely try it again”

Not all Dunkin's are created equal, but let me tell you, this drive-through Dunkin' located beside a Mobil gas station that also serves amazing pizza slices is the absolute best in the area! Unfortunately, it's currently closed for renovations, and I have to travel further to get my daily dose of a well-toasted bagel with cream cheese. And let me tell you, it's been a disaster! But the staff at this Dunkin' are consistently excellent, accommodating, and simply delightful. They make me feel welcome and happy every time I pull up to the drive-through with my mobile order, even if I arrive after an unreasonable amount of time. In comparison, other Dunkin' locations in Plymouth and Kingston just don't measure up. Their staff doesn't understand what well-toasted means, and they seem to want me to get into a terrible accident while attempting to open a cream cheese packet. Come on, Plymouth and Kingston Dunkin's, step up your game and take a cue from this amazing Dunkin'!”

“Arrived relatively early on a Saturday morning, 9am. The restaurant was half full already and we took it as a good sign. The breakfast menu is huge and we went with the Benedict’s, one traditionaland another with spinach (Benedict Florentine). Both dishes were really well portioned. The potato fries were a little hard for my taste, but the English muffin was perfect. The orange wedge was a nice touch. Our server, Pamela, was friendly and fast. It was worth trying out.”

We were lucky enough to be looking for Thai food and seeing this restaurant pop up. The food is authentic Thai made by the owners. I had the Tom Yum Soup chicken and it is the best one I have had in my life. The others were Panang curry, Beef Boat Noodle soup and Basil Pad Thai. If the pictures are so good imagine how good the flavors would be. Wish I lived close by so I could eat there every night.”

I also got onion rings with my blt. The onion rings were great. Perfect amount for me, and still more than what i could finish. The blt was had so much bacon i was excited. Now im not sure if my taste and smell are off today but i kept getting a nutty smell and a little taste. “This restaurant is the BEST local breakfast place. Service is always excellent no matter what server you get! Very consistent and the girls are all friendly. The food is always prepared very well with large portions. I have been a customer since the start of the business and have never had one bad meal or service.”

“Visited on 3/25/2024. The new location is amazing! The staff was amazing and the food, even better! I brought my friends from out of town and I will definitely bring them back when they visit. I had one of the specials (Crunch Burger) with curly fries and it was so delicious! They cooked the burger just how i wanted it(medium rare) and it was flavor packed! We will definitely be back!”

“Went to Mamma Mia's in Marshfield tonight. The restaurant was closed but the bar was packed. Got a seat at the bar and could not believe what I was watching. There was a young girl named kira behind the bar not only was she the bartender but she was the bar back she was the hostess, the waitress, the server, the the bus girl, the Keno there was nothing she didn't do well maybe except for cook but she did it all at a hundred miles an hour and everything she did was 100% right drinks were right, food was right, she was right on time, nobody had to wait she was an amazing amazing server/bartender and I just wanted to say I think she was great! Also have to say she kept every single person happy. It was amazing to watch her work and I think any employer would be happy to have 10 more of her!”

“Restaurant staff are great,they are on their game. Bar staff are very friendly and knowledgeable about their drinks,wish they didn't measure their pours. I love that they offer gift cards for charity that help children and different other needs. Food to go is expedited very fast,just check your orders before you leave, sometimes things are forgotten. Overall great place to dine.”

“First time dining here since it was T-Bones. Nice selection of apps, entrees, and sides. They have a daily special, today it was Taco Tuesday. I had the chicken tender entrée. This came with steak fries and cole slaw as the sides.My partner had two sides, the collard greens and the traditional Mac and cheese. Everything was great. The steak fries had a nice seasoning on them. The collard greens were cooked perfectly and were flavorful.The chicken fingers looked like they actually were from a chicken.There are definitely other items we will try on our next visit.The waitress was uber friendly, helpful, and timely.We are looking forward to our next visit!”
