I had loved Coops when it first opened but hadn't been in years and was not disappointed with my visit yesterday. We arrived around 1pm and sat at a high top; we waited a bit before anyone greeted us but we had the Bruins game to watch and once our drink order was placed, they arrived fairly quickly at which time we were ready to order. First of all Regina F., the reason many restaurants are not doing complimentary (learn how to spell this word) birthday dinners is because the cost of food has skyrocketed and it is no longer fiscally responsible to pay for patron's dinners that have birthdays everyday. It's a great place to eat or drink. It's kid friendly and very good for the prices. I usually just order they're Chill and chips to go but when I finally did sit down, the service was great and the food came out in a timely manner. They've got my vote for sure. Try the chilli and chips and you'll be pleasantly hooked too.
