This place is so quaint and chill. Great food and atmosphere made me feel like I was in an authentic Chinese Cafe

This is my friend's house. No place for the general public.

I ate here two years ago and then again yesterday. Neither time was great. I gave it a second chance because it was one of the closest restaurants to the Quincy Center Stop but I was rather disappointed. The service was fine, though I am not a big fan of small styrofoam cups. They could easily help the environment with some glass or metal cups. The Chinese soda was good and well-priced at $1.50/can. Moreover, the dumplings were fine. They were taken out of a package to be steamed, but that happens more often than not. One should not expect house-made dumplings. If you get the veggie ones, make sure you like spinach. What sullied the experience was two things: 1) the annoying kid playing computer games on his Ipad and talking trash online; he was the only other patron 2) the pork-belly sticky rice. For me it's hard to get pork belly wrong. I don't know, for instance, if I've ever had a bad slice of bacon. However, this appetizeresque thing, this pork belly wrapped in sticky rice was less than satisfying. The pork was completely dried out and was obviously precooked. It was a fair-priced dish and would have been well-priced if it were any good. This place should really do more to draw in the high school kids after school. They should step it up with some solid house beverages and they should get some staples down pat. Then, they will have more than just one commuter and one kid playing video games in the corner.

I stepped into Jenny's House for a quick lunch today and was happy I did. The service was quick and friendly and the atmosphere was very comfortable and welcoming. I ordered the spicy beef noodle soup and it was not only served up fast, but exactly what I had hoped for. The noodles were perfectly cooked and the protein, broth and vegetables hit the spot.I didn't feel rushed at all, but if I wanted a quick lunch via quick and friendly service, it would definitely be supported. I will add Jenny's to my recurring lunch options. Many of the menu options tempted me! From the picture I see here of what it looks like at night, I will need to check that out as well.

I was in town from California. And I'm so glad I stumbled upon this place while looking for a Starbucks. I ordered the spicy beef noodle soup and drunken chicken. It was so great. Very authentic. In California we have a lot of good food, but this is better then many back home. Wow. The soup is perfect. Chewy noodles, tender vegetables, and soft beef. The soy sauce poached egg just tops it off perfectly. The drunken chicken is so great. Hard to find this dish these days with the wine and all. If you have never had authentic Chinese steam chicken finished with Chinese wine this may be a weird dish to you. It's very tasty. Many health benefits. It's so good here. I don't think many people enjoy cold steamed chicken so it's an acquired taste if you ask me. I very much enjoyed this place and hope to coke back when in Boston visiting.

Stopped in for a quick to go lunch before I had to catch the train. These Dan Dan noodles were AMAZING. Perfectly spicy and oily and warm and delicious! I will dream of this meal later.

Food was ok, their spicy beef noodle soup was good. Had raw fried chicken. Service was alright.... And there was not a lot of people eating when we got there. Cute atmosphere but I wouldn't go again.

Ordered ahead as we were coming from afar. Food was cold and had sat the whole time. Service equally cold. Pork had a microwaved/chewy texture and was inedible

Service ?? Really … the service is bad. Not terrible just bad.The food … really ? I could have bought Trader Joe’s and have better luck. The containers that the food come in is ghetto.2/5 because the restaurant is cute but that’s it.

Microwaved food. Service not friendly to all. Cook vapes indoors in front of customers.
