I ate here two years ago and then again yesterday. Neither time was great. I gave it a second chance because it was one of the closest restaurants to the Quincy Center Stop but I was rather disappointed. The service was fine, though I am not a big fan of small styrofoam cups. They could easily help the environment with some glass or metal cups. The Chinese soda was good and well-priced at $1.50/can. I stepped into Jenny's House for a quick lunch today and was happy I did. The service was quick and friendly and the atmosphere was very comfortable and welcoming. I ordered the spicy beef noodle soup and it was not only served up fast, but exactly what I had hoped for. I was in town from California. And I'm so glad I stumbled upon this place while looking for a Starbucks. I ordered the spicy beef noodle soup and drunken chicken. It was so great. Very authentic. In California we have a lot of good food, but this is better then many back home. Wow. The soup is perfect. Chewy noodles, tender vegetables, and soft beef.
