What is the address because the one listed on Google is actually a residential address. Wastes peoples time without exact coordinates

What is your address? I drove all the way to 111 oak street but that was a residential address. Is this restaurant still in business?

La Scala is our favorite restaurant! Every time we try something new we say “it’s not as good as La Scala. We have been coming here for forty years and they have maintained the same excellent food and ambience that they had in the 80’s. We have also had functions in their function room that were also excellent and very reasonably priced. The drinks are great and the wait staff are friendly and efficient. Nice to see the same faces when we go in which is a good sign that a business is treating their employees well. We would advise tourists to Boston to take a walk around the North End and get a cappuccino or gelato it’s fun to see but if they want an authentic “old school” Italian restaurant take a ride to Randolph it’s worth it. They also always have numerous specials that are also delicious. Be sure to take cash they don’t accept credit cards but do have an ATM in the bar area.

Move over North End, Boston! La Scala, located in Randolph, MA., a short drive off of RT 24, is the South Shore’s hidden gem of an authentic, family run, Italian restaurant. My family and I frequented this restaurant many times when I was a child, ( during the 80’s, I am 48 now) especially after shopping at the nearby mall. My mother and I always shared the chicken creation for two, it was our favorite, we had leftovers for days. It was so delicious. I had moved away for many years, and now I am back and was delighted to see La Scala up and running as it ever did. again. I have to say how overjoyed I was when I tasted their chicken creation again, it was perfect, just as I remembered. The ambiance here is so wonderful, like being back in Italy. I had so many fond memories of my family (many are, sadly, not with us anymore) when came here. I will definitely be making this place a regular destination once again. Love, love, love La Scala’s!!!

Good food, terrible service and unserious! We've been to this place a few times from out of state, but he's never punctual. He's not a smart businessman. A businessman never jokes with his business hours. He says he opens at 4 on Sunday but go there at 4 and he will say he's out shopping. This is the 3rd time I am witnessing it. Why shop during business hours when you know your customers are waiting? We even call him hours ahead. When he finally returns, he spends additional 1 hour preparing the food. He's also not apologetic. You would expect an apology but nope, he won't. I guess he's the only person selling this type of food in the area. If he had competition, he would take this good business more seriously. I also noticed he doesn't have help. He is the chef, the waiter and the cleaner, and that's why he wastes a lot of time. Anyway, if you don't like your time wasted up to 2 hours, forget this place. Update: In less than 10 minutes after leaving the review above, the owner (Obi) sent me this text in the screenshot. We spend about $100-$120 weekly ordering takeout from this guy but never has he treated us respectfully despite driving over 40 miles to his place. He knows this. Like I said, he obviously lack what it takes to run a successful business. Restaurant business is not just about cooking good food, customer service is important. His arrogance will be his undoing.

We love La Scala and we have honestly never had a sub par meal…everything is always fabulous and great cocktails as well. We were in with another couple this past Friday and my husband and one of our friends had the swordfish which they both raved about…so fresh and a generous serving. This is the 3rd time I’ve ordered the eggplant parm as I’ve been eating less meat. I cannot exaggerate how fabulous it is and I find eggplant Parm to rarely be fabulous. It can often be acidy or tough but La Scala has it down perfectly. To be able to do this dish as well as they do is a testament to fine Italian cuisine. Sliced thin, texture is fabulous, never acidy or tough, just perfect! Fabulous Italian desserts as well. Never ever disappointed here!

In a recent trip to Boston ; this Italian restaurant doesn’t require vaccine card as it is located 30 minutes outside of the city . Family run business with great bar area with multiple TV’s . The swordfish was phenomenal flavor and moistness. Veal chop was great as well and a generous serving size. Great choices of beer , wine and other liquors. The flavor of the shrimp scampi was quite flavorful. I loved the tiramisu and the mascarpone and espresso flavor was excellent. Next visit to the Boston area visiting our son in college will be a staple visit. Do bring cash as no credit cards accepted . The prices are very reasonable giving what your eating and function of cash only place. The owner Michael was quite hospitable and pleasant.

We have been to La Scala twice in the last few months. The bar area is bustling and they now serve food in the bar. The dining room is dated and has a sour smell. We ate in the dining room. Our server was very good but the food was just okay. The first time I had manicotti which is my usual here. It was good but seemed to be lacking something. My husband had veal Roberto, his usual. I noticed that the shrimp were smaller than before. This time I had veal Marsala. It was okay, not great. The veal is cut up pieces and therefore somewhat tough. He had the same veal Roberto and the shrimp were still small. What was very surprising was the pasta portion was half the size as before. Maybe 3 bites of pasta. Before it was a good size. The portion sizes are smaller, the drinks are smaller, yet the prices remain the same. We may look for a new go to in Randolph.

My husband and I just returned from eating at La Sala. The building looks like it should be an excellent restaurant. I ordered the veal parmigiana which was just a big chunk of cheap chewy bad tasting veal. My husband had the Veal Marsala which he said was only saved by the prosciutto on top of it. The bread was good but served cold with cold butter and we ordered a bottle of wine which they couldn’t ruin. The worst part of the whole meal was that they don’t take credit cards! (Apparently we missed the sign somewhere) What is the matter with this owner? Who really carries cash in this day and age especially with the spread of COVID-19? We found it really wacky that they keep a ATM in their hallway for those that will pay the ATM fee and for the owner not to pay the credit card fee for the convenience of their paying restaurant customers. We will definitely not be returning. What a mistake choice for dinner!
