Went to Blue Fez with some friends today. Really enjoyed my vegetarian couscous dish and our hummus appetizer. The food was very favorable, and the service and ambience were great too. Really enjoyed it there. Loved the decor too. Will be back

Just an excellent, well prepared meal. We went early before things got more hectic. We had an excellent Salem State waitress..attentive and knowledgeable. The restaurant looks nice and conversation was easy because it wasn't yet crowded. We were served another table's appetizer... we thought it was a tasting dish, but fortunately we asked. The portions were large. I'd rather have had less at a slightly lower price point. Excellent sangria.....

A new personal favorite. Came here to break fast one night for Ramadan and was NOT dissapointed! Service was good, and very personable. Food was EXCELLENT. The bastilla's are next level. Can't wait to come back.

Great restaurant in the heart of Salem. It was not busy during a weeknight and the waiter was very helpful. There is nice art work on the walls and traditional music playing. I ordered the mint tea which was not on the menu to share with my table. It came out in a pretty silver pot and had enough for at least 4-5 cups of tea. I ordered the lamb shank tagine which was delicious. Very tender and flavorful. The couscous under it was also very tasty. The portions are very generous and I surely could have split with another person.

Was able to make a reservation through their website several hours before the time we chose. We showed up and were told the kitchen was closed & dinner service was over. When scheduling the reservation, they offer times until 10 PM, but they close the kitchen at 8 PM. ???

Best lamb I've ever had. Excellent service for a rather difficult group of eaters. I ever-so-slightly dinged atmosphere only because I think there should be more lamps, it being Moroccan. I'm petty.

Joined a few friends here on Saturday night. We opted to start with the Mosaik platter, a delightful sampling of all their apps. From the hummus to the beets and grape leaves, everything was seasoned and prepared to perfection. At the suggestion of our server, we also got an order of meatballs; these were tender and seasoned just right. Knowing we were saving room for dessert, we opted for the Lamb shank with couscous across the table. The lamb was so tender and juicy, the couscous so huge and, dare I say, fluffy! There were roasted carrots and, much to my delight, parsnips as well. For dessert, we chose the pistachio mouse cake and the Morrocan crepes. Beautifully plated! The pistachio really didn't have much mousse, but the cake was very good. The crepes were fried and drizzled with honey and nuts; so fricking yummy! Service was impeccable as well! Can't wait to come back!

The owner puts a lot of love into his dishes and it shows. This restaurant is quaint and you won't go wrong with anything in the menu. The hummus was super fresh and our braised lamb shank was falling off the bone tender.

It’s hard to believe that we’ve lived in Salem for 9 years and just dined at Blue Fez for the first time with 4 friends. The Mozaic Plater was phenomenal, the chicken fassi and chicken curry were delicious and the cosmopolitan to start was so tasty. All the dishes were fresh and savory, the service was exceptional and atmosphere is very cool. We dine out often in Salem and this will now be one of our goto places. The owner/chef is so gracious and friendly. We highly recommend Blue Fez.

The food was amazing, so good and fresh, service was excellent, we came with our 1 year old and was able to get some couscous right away before appetizers, and he was able to accommodate a non spicy version for her, we will definitely be back!
