“Thanks so much for an excellent dinner! The pork with gorgonzola cream sauce was recommended by Madison and I'm so happy I followed her suggestion! Perfectly cooked pork with a rich but not to "blue" cream sauce. Plenty of food for dinner plus the leftovers which will be lunch this weekend! My vegetarian wife ordered the leek and mushroom ravioli and she was in heaven too. Lastly if you are a fan of German Hefeweisen beer, grab the Tucher, prob the best authentic Hefe I've ever had!“
“Had a couple of drinks while passing through Salem. Def on the sweet side (not a big fan). Loved being able to order through the machines without standing in line (great for folks with that type of anxiety). They have a cozy room with sound proofing that makes it easier to get some work done, however it was a Sunday afternoon for us and it got quickly crowded with chatter.“
“This locally-owned gem stands out not only for its exceptional coffee but also for the inviting atmosphere that makes it a favorite spot for both locals and visitors from what one of the locals told me while waiting in line. The location is a gem on the corner in the whar area. The warm and rustic interior, adorned with exposed brick walls and wooden accents, creates a welcoming retreat. The friendly and knowledgeable baristas add to the overall charm, providing excellent recommendations and a genuine passion for their craft. The coffee menu at Jaho is a celebration of variety, featuring a range of carefully sourced beans and inventive concoctions. Whether you prefer a classic espresso, a creamy latte, or a pour-over showcasing single-origin beans, Jaho has something to satisfy every coffee preference. The commitment to quality is evident in every cup, with each brew crafted with precision and care. The seating area, whether indoors or on the charming outdoor patio, provides a cozy space to linger and enjoy your beverage. It's a perfect spot for solo coffee contemplation, casual meet-ups, or catching up on work with the complimentary Wi-Fi. The relaxed ambiance and eclectic playlist make Jaho a versatile destination for various occasions.“
“The ambiance of this place was super cute, with a dim interior and purple lighting in the evening. We tried two of their four matcha flavors (the Blossom Matcha and the Brown Sugar Matcha) and both were delicious! The drinks were a bit overpriced for what you get, but overall worth it for the experience of hanging out in the cafe for a few hours chatting.“
“We went here for lunch. We were sat at the bar; and the bartender working that day was awesome. We enjoyed the complimentary shots offered that day (never forget cucumber jalapeño shot, which surprisingly was good). Ambiance was good. Definitely recommend & will come back when we're in Salem again.“
“This was my first time at the Berry Tavern. We’ve been hearing all about it for a while now and decided to give it a try. Nicole is cute as a button and the sweetest person. We loved talking to her! The food was fantastic as well. We will absolutely be back!!“
“Place was incredible! Our server Jazmine truly gave us the ultimate experience and made our first time there memorable. The ambiance is perfect, food is excellent, and the SERVICE! She was personable, attentive, kind, had good knowledge of the menu and made being there truly special. Her overall attitude of going above and beyond didn't go unnoticed and it was appreciated.Only thing is it’s busy, for good reason, and the seating for two is almost on top of one another. Might request more of the booth seating for more space and closer proximity to be able to talk better.“
“Another wonderful evening here, at IPAZZI. It is sad we can't eat here every night!! The dover sole is from Dover England, veal chop from France, Colorado rack of lamb. The chief is also the owner. We have to find a way to fight the gravity, lol.A++++++++Thank you Ana & Tani!!Parking: Free house parking“
“Enjoyed eating lunch here with friends while visiting. I noticed immediately that the space is smaller, which makes it a pretty tight walk around. Even with a lot of customers the noise level was not to loud. I was disappointed when there was a set of 8 of us and they said we needed to sit at different booths. Eventually we asked if we could move to the side with a booth/table combo so we could all sit together. The waiter was not so happy. The food then was divided by the two tables (not pushed together) and then brought out at very different times. When half of the table had their pizza the other half didn't. Once they had finished then we received ours. The menu was pretty confusing due to the lack of explanation of what they all offer. It does give the description but it doesn't adequately show what they serve as specials or explain it. Turns out after we ordered we found their "march madness" wall that had all the pizzas we could order but would have had no idea what was on each one. The pizza it self was very good. It was not over done and a well rounded pizza. I think it's something I'd eat once but not say it's a "must have" again since IM NOT a huge pizza person.“
