“My wife gets all the credit for introducing me to this restaurant. I didn't know what to expect, but definitely one of the best restaurants I've been to in Massachusetts. This place isn't just great food, but also extremely friendly staff. I unfortunately didn't think to take photos, but we got the whipped ricotta and shared the salad. I got the chicken dish and my wife the pasta. Everything was amazing. It does seem like the dishes are on a fairly frequent rotation so new dishes pop up unless I'm mistaken. Highly recommend trying this place out and make sure you get reservations as there is limited seating.“
“Excellent food at a fair price in a friendly atmosphere. Most of my visits are for breakfast. I'm always in a hurry and they serve quickly. You feel like you are in a place where all the locals go. I intend to try their lunch menu and now hear they do dinners. Very affordable . Important to me since I am on Social Security. I highly recommend.“
“We had the best experience yesterday at Olde Main Street Pub. We sat outside and it was great people and dog watching. We started with the curry fries, which we had never had but the server encouraged the choice..it was delicious. I had salmon with summer succotash and my husband loved the curry so much, he ordered the veggie pub curry with chicken. Service was fantastic, very friendly, polite and informative. We will definitely come back.“
“Casual sports bar with a full menu of food and drinks. Creative cocktails and lots of beers on tap, classic bar fare like burgers, wings, and pizza. Entrees and salads also available. Service can be slow at busy times and can be loud on game days.“
“10/10 Five Stars All the Accolades We had a group of 20- 13 kids and seven adults- and our service was TOP NOTCH. They seated us together right away. Brought our food out together and quickly. Understood that we had picky kids and worked with us every step of the way. The food is amazing. The cocktails were cute. The kids had root beer floats, so it was fun for them, too! I always come back because of their food, but their service has made this a staple of mine for every trip to Salem from now on!!“
“Food portions are generous, service is impeccable, staff creates a comfortable and friendly atmosphere. Peek times expect a wait but it is worth it. May even catch April herself enjoying a meal with her family. The food has a quality you can only get from a small family owned buissness. Every one has a smile from the moment you are greeted at the door, the waitstaff, food runners, all give service with a smile.“
“We came for my sons birthday breakfast. The women who sat us was lovely It was early and I was craving a burger. I asked if it was too early. The server was so pleasant and accommodating. He made my son the best hot cocoa ever ! We can't wait to return ! Fun place!!“
“Unpretentious breakfast & lunch spot that is busy for a reason, and hasn't disappointed us in 20+years. It's a local family-friendly, multi-generational favorite. Here we adore the omlettes made from eggs that are evenly cooked with interior fillings tucked just short of bursting; fork-tender, lightly seasoned homefries that are knife-cut from red-bliss potatoes with the skins left on; cornbeef hash made from scratch; big pancakes and French toasts made to order. The short order cooks are impressively in constant motion as they work the busy griddlle. If you like to watch this activity, they are not in a hidden kitchen.Friendly servers are unobtrusive and everything prepared reaches you hot. Your coffee will be refilled without question. This is a homey-style establishment where you exit with a full belly and [the only drawback from 5 stars] is you smell like the kitchen. In the spring and summer there are a few outdoor tables. When driving up, if the parking lot seems full, expect a 10-15+ min wait. Just find a spot on the side/rear lot and be patient.Parking: Read the lot signs to avoid parking in other business' spots (so you don't get towed away).Kid-friendliness: There are high-chairs for kiddos. Drinks for kids are served with lids and straws.“
“Had a great dinner here with my family. Service was awesome, ordered a couple different special sushi rolls(booster shot, Mt Fuji, and one that was purple but I forget the name) and the presentation was absolutely incredible. They were delicious as well! Restaurant was clean and plenty of space at the table. I will be coming back here next time I'm in Salem.Kid-friendliness: Server and staff were great handling my six year old, brought her food out with our appetizer and she loved the ice cream sandwich dessert that is a part of the kids menu.“
“Amazing lobster roll, best lemonade i've ever had, and great passionate service from an amazing waiter who looked like he loved his job.We were here for the inspiring Peabody Essex Museum and left pleasantly suprised with the small but cozy resturant we ended up finding.“
“We are dinner here. Deviled egg appetizer and pretzel app. Both were very tasty. My husband ordered Big Mac tacos and it was plenty of food for him. He liked them. Descent portion sizes. My daughter enjoyed her grilled cheese. I ordered sliders that came with fries and tiny milk shake. (Which my child said was delicious) I got a sip it was good.5 people with dinner drinks and apps for $160It's a good deal I think. No pictures we were too hungry.“
“Staff was really nice.We were 4 and we shared:-Buffalo chicken nuggets (just ok, good enough)-Mac&cheese: we liked it, but not as good as the steak tips and ribs.-??Steak tips with curly fries (both delicious)???-??BBQ baby back ribs (awesome) ???“
“My friends and I are all regulars at LBs and have been since before the move. Longboards is much more than an excellent bar to us. I've never had a bad dish here, although the new extra large wings and the ricotta sausage flatbread is always top of mind when we get the menu. They have all our favorite beers behind the bar for a fair price and we love trying out all the cocktails too. More importantly this is where we go to watch a game, celebrate new jobs, party on holidays, and I'll even have my bridal shower here in April. The bartenders are friends to us and this place is like the Central Perk or Cheers of Salem. I go here with my friends, on date nights, and I am even known to go alone for some good food and company. Thank you for being a second home to us LBs we love you!!“
“Small, quaint and clean! My partner and I were in from Indiana and we thoroughly enjoyed it here. Staff was kind. The soup was just a wee bit pricey but super delicious so it was worth it! We'd go back.Vegetarian options: They had a delicious vegan lentil mushroom soup!“
“Just bellied up to Austin's copper bar for some yummy lunch. This cozy place, clearly reeking of history and warm vibes, served amazing portions and great flavors. I'm a Reuben fanatic. Mercy served up just what you'd want in a Reuben! My seasonal veggie side was fresh and flavorful without becoming soggy or bland. Respect. Thankfully, my friend order the fries. These were special- truffle and Parmesan russets perfectly fried to crispy yet still soft and warm inside. The big surprise was when I noticed whole garlic cloves roasted and scattered throughout! Amazing. Local and some far delicious tap selections rounded out our experience (I had a Guinness). Thanks so much Austin at Mercy! You've got a great thing going! We will be back!“
