“Food is really good and authentic. Pancake is delicious but, served as a special so you need to ask what day it will be available. Steak with noodles was also delicious but, again served as a special, not on the regular menu. The restaurant is nice, lots of seats and bar to sit at, the owner and staff are very welcoming and friendly. If you like authentic Vietnamese food this is the place!“

“Went for a family celebration amd had a fabulous dinner. The owners are lovely and very accommodating with food requests. The fried shrimp, the stir fry coconut little necks were amazing! The boiler with mussels and scallops amd noodles was delicious! The pho was too! The stir fry noodles were very good. The shrimp rolls with peanut sauce were light and tasty! The Boba and smoothies are actually nondairy and were yummy! And it's right on the beach! Simple decor, but perfect for the beach. “Tip: Usually good amount of street parking a nice ice cream place nearby for dessert.This place is definitely a must try if you like pho. I usually go to “pho viet” but honestly this place might be just as good or even better. Unfortunately I cannot say the ramen was as great as it was okay. “This restaurant is located across the street from Davis Square. It has a simple menu with the main entrees including only Banh Mi and Rice Bowl/Noodle bowls. Wouldn’t recommend this place if you’re looking for traditional Vietnamese food or pho. But all to say, their pork rice noodle bowl was solid with a generous portion of meat and their papaya salad was good as well (not too spicy). This restaurant is definitely Americanized but is a good local place to try out if you’re in Davis Square.“

I ordered the steamed mixed veggies on the side, probably wouldn't do it again for the 3.95 price point - very small portion and the veggies were barely steamed. The Service can be a bit slow and you may need to go to the counter to check out but it makes sense, they only have a few staff and they are very busy. I've been to many different kinds of banh mi shops/Vietnamese restaurants, from traditional to fancy to experimental, and this place is among the best I've had. The bread has a nice crisp on the outside while maintaining a soft interior. I normally get nuoc cham on the side to dip it in, but these are so well flavored that they don't need it. “There are not that many good restaurants in this food court anymore with pho viet, Kantin, and the Korean place (I don't remember what it was called but their kimbap was great) however this place still had an AMAZING bahn mi. They only offer the cold cut version but please trust me, it is the same satisfying as a bbq pork without it feeling heavy or overly sweet. Their cold cut banh mi is a great size, generous with the pate, fresh, and the bread is the perfect amount of chewy without it being soggy or too stale and stiff. The owners were very nice and gracious too! A great snack to munch on while your grocery shop or wait for the train. It is genuinely so tasty and feels good for your soul. Don't underestimate the cold cut banh mi !!!!!“

“The tom yum special which is Creamy Tom Yum Ramen with Tonkotsu broth. jumbo shrimp [2). little Neck clam [2], ramen noodle. tomato [2). wood ear mushroom, scallion, nori and lime was pretty good. Has a slight kick to it and definitely has the tom yum flavor profile but weak on lemon grass so could have used more of that. The shrimps were big and juicy. They ran out of clams so just asked if we were ok with just more shrimp which I am totally fine. The noodles come could be a little more al dente but overall very good. The mix of tom yum and pork broth works for this noodle bowl. Service was good, we were greeted immediately upon entry and offered bar seats as it was fairly busy. Ambiance is very casual and popular music being played. Parking is easy as it is lot parking for the shopping center.“

“I enjoy stopping to get Pho here after the Boston Marathon. Stopped in on 4/16 and received poor customer service. It was mid afternoon and not too busy as there were tables open. I was seated with a glass of water and a menu. Each time I looked up the person who sat me would say in a minute. I waited on staff to return and they never did. I watched as several customers after me were seated and their orders were taken and brought to them within minutes of arriving. Trying to give the benefit of the doubt, I waited, and after more than 12 minutes I got up and flagged someone down.The server seemed to not understand that I was wanting to order and that I had been sitting there without ordering until a customer, gentleman (who came in after me and had his meal) spoke up loudly and told him that I wanted to order. Thanking him for his help I offered to pay for his meal (he graciously declined).I finally received my food and it was good, but the poor service saddened me. Hope this was a fluke.“

I have tried other vendors in the Greater Boston area and they do not compare. I wish the Cambridge location was open on weekends...such is life. “I took my son for seafood pho with noodles . The soup was served with fresh sprig of basil you add as little or lot as you want . The chopsticks aren't throw away ones but you get to take them hone each set is in its own paper that says the name of the restaurant. I got vietnamese coffee which is super strong with condensed milk in it.I only took one child I assumed this restaurant was not able to do allergy safe stuff so I had to wait and take only one of my kids. I spoke to a friendly young guy at cash register he said yes they could accomadate and make my other son a pho with no cross contamination with egg peanut tree nut.The restaurant is spacious and very clean nice seats near a window . Tye smallest order of pho was enough to take home a second meal. They'll provide a big leak proof tupperware to carry pho home . I liked sitting by the huge window to watch the bustling city scape going on outside while I drank me coffee.Dietary restrictions: They said they can definitely make a pho that has no peanut egg milk or tree nut but I haven't ordered it yet for the other son with the epi.“
