“Bryan and Michele frequent tapiocatea every chance we get. Michele loves the Strawberry Cheesecake tea and of course the Teriyaki Beef Banh Mi sandwich. Bryan's go to is the Birria Banh Mi sandwich and his choice of drink is the Matcha Lavender Milk Tea. This place gets a 5 out of 5 on everything. This is a must try!!!! Both sandwiches are pictured below as well as a bubble waffle and crepe.”

“I had my daughter's 30th birthday party at Victors on Broadway yesterday (1/27/2024) at 2pm. We had the place to ourselves for over 2.5 hrs; with a party of 15 people, that was great! Our food was amazing! Everyone loved their food, with no complaints at all! The meatballs and fresh extra filled raviolis were the best ever!! Service was great! Our waitress, Cheryl, was very friendly, very helpful and very hard working to keep us all happy. The place is a little restaurant tucked in a plaza, but don't be fooled, it is big on flavor!! I highly recommend this place!! Great Italian food!!! ✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️”

“Great old-fashioned diner-style restaurant with tasty breakfast served in huge portions. I got the corned beef hash benedict, which was giant and delicious, with a generous heaping of home fries (I asked for crispy, and they came out perfect). The corned beef hash is the style you might get from a can -- this is not a criticism, because this is the kind of hash I much prefer, rather than the kind made from scratch you might find at hipster restaurants. Coffee was also really good. Service was super-friendly, and I could tell that there were a lot of regular customers. We'll stop by here again the next time we're in this neck of the woods!Parking: No problems finding parking in the lot.”

“I ordered a cheeseburger sub with everything on it including hot peppers. It came out excellent perfect amount of cheese and all the toppings and the hot peppers weren’t too much. I ordered it to go and it was ready at exactly the time frame they told me on the phone I’m from the other side of the state just passing through so it worked out perfectly. The food was excellent and you couldn’t beat the service or the price. I would definitely recommend!”

“Kind of a long review, but it’s for 3-4 visits. So, a friend posted a photo of her Italian sub on Instagram, and it looked incredible! I had to try it. Picked up my first Italian sub on 2/10 after ordering online. The young guy at the counter was very nice and handed me my sub. Later, I realized that he had probably made it as well. Drove home and then ate the best Italian sub of my life. I don’t know if they make their own roasted peppers, but they are *chef’s kiss.* Anyway, I got the sub with lettuce, hots, olives, and roasted peppers—they were super generous with the goodies, and at the end I was dipping the last of the bread in the briny, vinegary goodness left on my plate. I couldn’t wait to go back. The second time, 2/22, I went on a random weekday day off. I typically work M-F, but I took a Thursday off. I had a bunch of errands to do that needed to be done during work hours, and I went to the UPS location in Saugus so I could swing by Sons of Sicily and get another sub. Their online ordering was not allowing me to add anything extra to the sub, so I decided to just go in and order it there. (As of yesterday, you still can’t order online and get the option menu of all of the items you can add on) Someone different was on the counter. She seemed to be busy, but she was very nice. I ordered the same exact sub I got last time, and I waited at a table near the back. (I think the “mama” they mention on Instagram was there, as the sweetest lady stopped at my table to make sure I didn’t need anything) The woman at the counter called me over to ask if I wanted any other condiments like vinegar or oil. I think I said oil would be fine since I was planning on putting some oil on it when I got home. She wrapped up the sub, and I drove home to Malden. When I got home, I unwrapped the sub and realized it might not be as good as the first one. It seemed to have much less of the add ons that made the other sub so perfect. I took a bite. It definitely had less, and actually none of the hots that I had ordered. I live far enough away that I really didn’t want to drive back to get my sub fixed, so I ate half of it because I was really hungry, but I had a moment of sadness every time I took a bite. I ended up going to the grocery store to get a jar of hots, roasted peppers, and I found some mixed olives with seasoning on the antipasto bar. The hots I bought was great, but the olives and roasted peppers were subpar to the ones Sons of Sicily puts on their sandwiches.I called Sons of Sicily to let them know about the omission, and to see if I could get a small discount on the next sub I got there. I spoke to the owner who was very nice and said he would take care of my next sub, which was more than I was hoping for, and I was impressed by the customer service. My third sub, 2/24, was through UberEats for two reasons: I could order online through the Uber app with all of the available options, and I really didn’t want to drive to Saugus. I almost never order delivery because of how much more it costs, but that day it seemed worth it. The sub was not as good as the first one, but it was better than the second one by far.Okay, I’m onto my latest visit, 3/2, I called and ordered my sub (same one, same add ons throughout all of this), and I drove over to pick it up. I went in and super awkwardly told the guy at the counter (different one than my first visit) that the owner had said to come talk to him the next time I was in. The owner seemed to be enjoying eating lunch with friends or family, and I felt terrible about disturbing him. He made good on his promise of a free sub, and I tipped the guy at the counter and ran out the door. I got home, and it was finally equally as good as the first sub. I’m writing this and wishing they were open on Sundays because I would seriously drive over and get another one.I highly recommend this place, and I can’t wait to try some of their other items!”

“I found this place online and I'm hooked. I'm a novice to Pho but the owner Long suggested I try the Pho Eye Round Steak Noodle Soup and it was excellent. The noodles were perfect, the steak was flavorful and sliced so thin it almost melted in my mouth. The broth has a depth of flavor that I couldn't describe but Long said it was the bone marrow. Next time I will be bringing the family. Friendly service too.”

I have visited them all and no one’s red sauce, or Alfredo sauce can compare. If I could give it 10 stars I would. Better than any place in the north end. “We went on a Thursday night @ 6:30 pm. No wait table for 2. I had prime rib and lobster pie with clam chowder and my wife had baby back ribs with chowder. Our meals were both excellent and the server was personable and attentive. BTW the chowder was very good and a reasonably sized cup for a side dish instead of salad. I was celebrating my birthday so we split one order of the apple strudel cinnamon sticks with ice cream. Unbelievably good ? and reasonably priced. We love Jimmy's!”
