“Had a great meal and wonderful conversation before our flight to Florida.Toni, our bartender, suggested her favorite items on the menu while also sharing a few laughs with us before our send off. Totally recommend starting here with Toni before your next trip out of PVD airport!“
“I don’t want to oversell it, but top 3 restaurants in my life!…and I travel often with a healthy daily food allowance. The cheesecake nearly made my face fall off it was so good. This was preceded by phenomenal nachos and a pork chop that defied all logic. Absurdly good. Oh and the wings! We made two trips in 24hrs and would’ve gone again if our flight was cancelled. Been talking about it for dayssssss…Lastly, our server was fantastic! She’s a trainer apparently also but just absolutely stellar service. I’ll be back…SOON!“
“Popped in just for a slice. Already know this is a good spot. The vibes are right. Pinball, good beer selection, very much some solid pizza. Sad I never came in here before.Parking: There's a small lot and free parking on the street. There's also a bike rack.“
“Fantastic bar on the west side of Providence, walkable from Downtown, Federal Hill, and the West End. My favorite part of their drink menu is their cocktails, but they have a great beer selection and decent wine selection as well. Prices are very affordable, and the service has always been great. Most times I’ve gone it’s been a chill spot, not too crowded with good music. This past weekend I went and it was packed. We figured we came during an event, and turns out it was Kimi’s birthday! Even got a slice of birthday cake on the house, and had a great time even though we felt a bit like party crashers. Staff couldn’t have been more friendly, though, and I’m looking forward to coming back again!“
“I booked a reservation for my husband’s birthday and we dined before attending a concert in Providence. Brianna was our server and was great! The pace of service, food and ambience was great! Very attentive to the fact that it was a birthday. We willl return!Parking: Free valet parking was a plus!“
“Amazing people! Great Food! I would personally recommend the Empanadas, Burger & wings anytime you visit. Grab a Green Tea shot & thank me later! Game night, fight night, or just an evening dedicated to enjoying good company PUB 594 is a great find in the city.“
“There’s a new 5/5 cocktail bar on the scene in Providence! (Ok, ~new~ may be relative, but I was able to try Glou for the first time yesterday on NYE after having them on my list to visit for months!)Spectacular cocktail program, service, and vibe all around. Another win for Fox Point to have such a cozy, inviting, and innovative cocktail bar in their backyard. There were 6 unique cocktails to choose from in addition to 2 bonus NYE drinks, a wine/beer list, plus non-alcoholic drinks, and food. We got there early in our NYE revelry and we were able to find a table for 3 no problem. (We even scored a window seat!) There’s also a heated patio out back to check out if you have a larger party. The cocktails were spectacular. Well-balanced with an array of different liquor bases and aperitifs—rest-assured there’s going to be something for everyone on this menu. The bartending team is also amazing and wonderfully accommodating. There was one drink I really wanted to try that had roasted cherries in it, but I have a cherry allergy. I let the bartender know and we were able to pivot into a Gin Fizz with honey, ginger, and a dusting of sumac on top! Can’t wait to return more frequently in 2024 and try the food menu as well. Cheers to the team at Glou!“
“We did not eat there...Not serving food on a Tuesday...Had a martini which was very good...Bartender was awesome...We will go back to try the food...Heard it was very good...Only problem was the music to loud....could not talk to anyone who was not sitting right next to me.....Parking: Warwick Rhode Islands...“
“Black Salt is my latest favorite local restaurant. Excellent food, friendly service, delicious drinks. Comfortable, casual atmosphere. The owners are great. Some menu items change by the season. The calamari and the linguini & clams are the BEST I’ve ever had anywhere. Black Salt is also a great place to host a dinner party or small event. We recently had a milestone birthday celebration there and everyone loved it. Highly recommend Black Salt.“
“Doesn't really serve food, but when they do, it's catered and tastes Fantastic. I've been going to this place for a few years. Every time I walk in, between the smooth good music playing and leather couches, it's a fantastic location to unwind. The bartenders are all friendly and very knowledgeable. They treat you like your home. Definitely recommend.“
“i've been to a lot of places that have burgers, but the burgers here are some of the best you'll ever have. When I usually go here I get two appetizers, we tried the cornbread and the tenders they were excellent the burgers you get here are smash burgers cook to perfection, and the service is really fast, make sure you go early because It can get busy“
“Frequenting Red Door has become a ritual for my friends and myself, and for a good reason - it's a culinary destination that effortlessly marries an exceptional drink menu with an inviting ambiance and engaging events. Red Door, in my experience, is a delightful journey through flavors with menu items such as the Heihei chicken and drinks such as Oaxacacillin, and Emerald City, and an ever-changing tapestry of events, and a haven of positive vibes.“
“Best spot in town! Have yet to find anything on the menu I don’t like. Best wings in town hands down. Brandon, Charlotte, Sarah, and Brad have become the best of friends and take the best of care to all guests. Highly recommend to anyone!“
“Perhaps one of The Point Tavern's most enchanting features is its private patio. This hidden gem offers an intimate setting for dining, drinking, and socializing. Surrounded by tasteful greenery and ambient lighting. Each dish, from appetizers to entrees, is prepared with an attention to detail, combining classic comfort food with innovative twists.“
“Breakfast was great. The cardamom pancakes were light and fluffy, great with the vanilla whipped cream that came along with. Be warned 1 will feed 2 people easily. Only complaint was the volume of the music. We went for Sunday brunch and had to raise our voices to hear each other.“
“Their stuffed pretzels are out of the world!! The beer is amazing, banana pudding beer is a must try!! Their apricot butter dipping creates heaven in our mouth!! Highly recommend going there for a bite of their delicious pretzels and dips!!“
“Officially one of my new favorite restaurants in providence! When you walk in, there's dim lighting which I particularly enjoyed especially because it made the providence sign stand out. Our waitress was kind and very attentive from the minute we were seated. Now the food was divine, everything was perfect. We ordered the calamari and each ordered the short rib with gnocchi. Every ingredient in that dish complimented each other so well, it was such a lovely culinary experience. My friend also ordered the "only fans" drink which she enjoyed. Will definitely return and can't wait to introduce more family and friends to this restaurant.“
“Quite the hidden gem. I stumbled upon this as a choice coming in from out of town and considered it an option if we had nothing else to do. We had some time, so wandered over to this very unassuming to the point of worrisome place. However, super worth it. I've been to barcades before but haven't been to one that charges a general admission ($7 pp) for unlimited games which is (pun intended) a game changer. The drinks were very reasonably priced. The gaming options felt like I was preparing for Ready Player One, with extensive options. Most games were functional (RIP left guitar of Guitar Hero) and it was awesome to be able to win skeeball and air hockey over and over again and continue my mission on various games without having to pay for more time. Wish I had more time to spend here!“
“In town for the night and after lots of searching it seemed like Plant City was the place to grab some vegan eats. I will spend nights dreaming of Double Zero's Warm Creamed Spinach Dip & Toasted Flatbread. Love the idea for a vegan food hall - I want one in every city!“
“Axe bar is a very fun and very well ran establishment. The atmosphere is amazing and the trainers are great at what they do. I really liked that safety was at the forefront during training on how to throw an axe.Kevin is fantastic at what he does and very eccentric.10/10 recommend.“
“My new favorite bar! There are places that are just aesthetic and places that are just vibey and this place has all the vibes and is aesthetically pleasing in spades. The staff were warm and welcoming, the drinks were delicious (great NA mocktails) and the music was perfect. Already can't wait to go back!“
“Always a good time! Arthur and his crew are always on top of orders even when it's busy!I also highly recommend their karaoke night (Full disclosure: I worked with and am friends with the current vendor for their karaoke entertainment, but it's good without my biased endorsement)!“
“What a fun place. A great neighborhood local bar. The owners treat you well and the bartenders made sure your glass is never empty. Great evening with a group of friends and listen to the entertainment. I look forward to going back soon.Derek D.“
“If you’re old like me and like horror, this is the place for you! Great place with a very chill atmosphere. Walk in, take a seat and watch a classic horror movie while enjoying their great selection of beers. The bartenders are some of the best in the business and the owners are the greatest. So come down and join the rest of us “Deadbeats” at the best bar in Providence!“
“Be careful of the margaritas—they are large and potent. Also tasty as they use real lime. One night there was a mariachi band. Really talented singer. Food is either good or very good depending on what you order. Many Latinx people eat here or work here. A good sign.“
“John the owner is super friendly and sociable and his staff (especially Honna) give amazing service and are very friendly to be around. Have seen many live bands here and it’s great to see the local scene continue on through here highly recommend!“
“You can't go wrong with either out for dinner or out for a good time and listen to a live band. The food is above the rest. The service is second to none. The bands are all talented and diverse. The only objective is the bright lighting during dinner. Otherwise, you'll find that you will be back soon for more. Friendly people wall to wall. Reasonably priced menu, with many drink and food specials. Awesome time always. Delicious ?Parking: If you have to park a block away... it's soo worth the walk !!!“
“My favorite Mexican restaurant! Everything I order is always fresh and delicious. Few of my favorites queso, birra tacos, rice and beans and enchiladas. The queso is absolutely amazing so cheesy and delicious, birra tacos are my new favorite so tasty and lots of meat. I've been on nights where they have a mariachi band and that's always a fun time!“
“My friend and I went on a whim. I thought the way it was decorated was very artsy and unusual. It's got a door from a jail cell which I thought was pretty cool. The people were very friendly and definitely had their own vibe. My friend and I were dressed conservatively in comparison but we didn't feel uncomfortable at all. No one gave us a second look, or maybe even a first look! I felt no judging going on there. The bar tender was super nice and friendly. It's a small place and has one pool table. Personally, I love a small place. You feel connected, especially with regulars, you feel like you've got your own tribe. We loved the place and would definitely go back.Parking: It's a neighborhood bar. Don't be intimidated by that or let that stop you. We talked briefly to a few people in the parking lot and they were super friendly. The minute I opened the door, my friend and I were pleasantly surprised and we loved the place!!!“
“the doorman (Bam, I think was his name?) was very polite and was very on top of checking EVERY ID (we watched him). haha also the bartenders were kicking ass (Morgan and another guy) and it was packed in here due to a memorial, and that was great to see the comradere at this local bar for the sad loss of a local.“
“My bf and I don't always have the same taste in food - but we both loved it here! Not a lot of seating and not great for groups. But we went midday on a Monday so was perfect. Sliders were nice, i got two and filled little me up, he got three plus two sides and was over full! Mozz sticks were ghreat! They were happy to take the sauce and extras off of my cheese burger as I'm a plain Jane!“
“Ok so who knew Warren, RI had so many AMAZING food spots? I can't wait for my next visit to this cute little New England town. Most recently I had the pleasure of dining at Revival through a recommendation from a close friend and MAN! this place did not disappoint. The inside is cozy and welcoming, the service was speedy and friendly and the food selection was incredible. I also love a place that has specials - my mother in law enjoyed the short rib pappardelle. My first time having Osso Bucco and OMG - I need it again and again. Cocktails weren't half bad either, I'd love to return for a more casual snack and drink.“
“I've lived here 20 years, have driven by countless times, and had no idea that inside people were dancing. Food was good, drinks were reasonably priced, and the band was good. Loved that folks were dancing in groups, as couples, and solo. This is one of the few places in RI where a vintage adult can go dancing. Yay!“
“OK. LISTEN UP!This is a great choice for local casual pubs.If you want elegance and white tablecloths, look elsewhere.I loved service, food quality, and draft beer (10 stars). Will definitely return and recommend.Waitress was Amanda... the best!“
“We are from out of town and wanted the "local" experience. The bartender was great and he gave us so much insider info about the city and where to go. The regulars were super, the food was simple yet delicious and the live music was a fun bonus!! Definitely get some local beer and the stuffies!!“
“This is a fantastic restaurant with great service. The food was really good and the pace was relaxed. Our waiter was one of the best I have ever had. Extremely attentive and kind. We ate here for Easter. Wide selection of items. Everyone was happy with their meals. We will be back.“
“Mediterranean Grill has become one of our "go-to's" when my wife and I decide to go out to dinner! They have a robust menu offering and you can try something different every time, whether you're looking for a light meal or a hearty one. We typically grab a couple seats at the bar, and the staff is always very friendly and attentive. Every time we walk in, a manager is there to greet us and gets us to a couple seats either by the bar or at the adjacent tables. One of my favorite items on the menu is the messa platter--- sometimes I'll even just order this as my entree. If you enjoy Greek food, this is the place for you!“
“Comfortable, airy, and easy going environment Able to view the chef creating the most delish, fresh foods. The variety of labeled oysters were all cold, clean, and fresh. The clam chowder was flavorful, and bountiful with melt in you mouth clams. Service was on point from start to finish!“
“Great place to watch a game and have a cigar and drinks with friends. We ordered food and came out promptly. The waitress was very friendly and made sure our drinks were full. Had their own parking lot across the street in busy federal hill, making it easy for “
“Hands down one of my favorite bars in the world. The vibe is awesome, good alcohol selection and good prices. There’s always something cool going on thru out the weeks like paint nights and food trucks. It’s a great place to throw a little party. The people that go regularly are always a good time. I will never stop hanging out at good old Gillies <3“
“Came tonight to celebrate my daughter's birthday! Food was delicious! My picky eater son loved the skewers! Steaks were phenomenal, as always! Our waiter was super nice, but I felt not very attentive given it wasn't a super busy night. Overall a great dinner at 10!“
“Wow. Wish I had found this sooner. Stopped for brunch on my way to the airport and Nick's did not disappoint. Hot honey chicken biscuit was absolutely delicious. Got the dressed greens as the side and they were amazing as well. It was mesmerizing to sit at the chef's bar and watch the kitchen at work. So many things on the menu I wanted to try. Perhaps I'll make it back to Rhode Island one day (preferably in, let's say, July!). Service here is top notch as well. Top 5 restaurant in the country for me.“
“Seating under the clear canopy with the gorgeous garden, was a treat! A visiting friend and I popped in for an afternoon refreshment and to rest after exploring Roger Williams Park. A delicious Cosmo and friendly service tool care of things and then we were off to walk along the river!“
“My first review of any restaurant but I had to! The perfect find, my boyfriend and I happened upon it on the way home from a fun day out. We consider ourselves lucky in finding special unique spots but this place is not like any other, it truly transports you through its food and its ambience. The service is incredible and personable, you feel so welcome and it feels like home and family. You can truly feel the pride they have in their food through the service and the flavors. I always love the familiar tastes of food I’ve had time and time again, but this was all new and provided comfort in its flavors while expanding your understanding of authentic Venezuelan food. We tried the beef, chicken, and pork arepas, as well as one of the plates where you build your own arepa. It is delicious meat and beans and cheese and sauce and avocado, anything you select, sandwiched within delicious corn pancakes. We never indulge in dessert out but we even had to take a coconut flan to go. Everything down to the drinks and sodas are authentic, I often find that a drink is the same most places you go but here the “Auyantepui” surprises with flavors of tamarind within spiced rum. This isn’t just a restaurant, it’s an experience. If you want to try something new, this is the place for you. You will feel wrapped up in its warmth instantaneously.“
“What Cheer is home to a lot of people in the Providence area. I've been coming here for years and years and still love it. Great drinks, amazing food, and fun and friendly staff. Nothing beats a summer night on their patio either watching the game while playing corn hole or watching actual live music. Feels like being at your best friends summer BBQ party! Did I mention they have that too? You have to go on a Sunday to get the infamous Horseman BBQ, you won't be let down.“

“I just wanted to drop a 5-star review and give a shoutout to Dallas for making us feel so welcome this evening. I called ahead to inquire about mocktails, and was told they could definitely accommodate that request. My coworker and I showed up, neither of us drink, and Dallas made us both amazing mocktails. I often feel like the bartenders in most places are annoyed when you don’t drink alcohol but I really did feel welcome and included and was very grateful. The drinks were great, and I will definitely be back, alcohol or no alcohol. You guys are great! Thanks so much.“
“Without question, Anthony's should be everyone's first choice for the finest, and most authentic Italian cuisine! Each and every selection on their menu is a true winner! The ambiance exemplifies the ultimate, European experience and the pricing is extremely rational. Last but not least , the service provided by the staff is consistently SUPERB! You can't possible go wrong choosing this restaurant.“
“I moved away from RI 9 years ago. While back home to see family, we visited Davenport's in Cumberland for the extensive gluten free menu to accommodate my celiac. Everything was wonderful, and the Portuguese kale soup especially tasted like childhood and home. Thanks so much.“
