“Went out with my girlfriend to the bar side 5/3/2024 - the foreign guy working the bar was the absolute worst bartender we have ever seen in our lives. After 1 drink, no menus, no refill my girlfriend asked for a drink loudly as he walked by (20 minutes later) and ignored us. We were about to leave but then asked the black haired tattoo'd female bartender to be our server. She was AWESOME and she said she gets that all the time, he needs to be fired. We tipped her very well and she saved our date night so thank you.“

“I recently received a gift card to this restaurant so this past weekend I decided to take my mother for dinner there. It is a nice restaurant, good sized, and you may sit either in the dining room or at the bar. The menu has something for everybody on it with steaks, sandwiches, seafood and salads available. I had the steak tips. They were delicious and cooked exactly the way that I specified. On the menu it says they are served with fries but my server let me switch out the fries for mashed potatoes instead. I also had the coleslaw that they serve with the steak tips. It is made with kale and is very delicious. My mother had a sandwich and she enjoyed it as well. The atmosphere here is very nice and if you are lucky and can get a table near the windows you will get a great view of the beautiful Boston skyline. From the service to the food to the beverages we really enjoyed our dinners.“

“Great Irish pub with very friendly staff and patrons. The type of place people will move over to help you get a seat. I watched 2 strangers at a 4 top invite 2 people that were waiting for a table to sit with them. The atmosphere was great. It is kid friendly. There was live music playing on a Sunday afternoon. Just the right level so you could talk and not yell. My daughter and I each started with a Shirley Temple. I'm a big kid at heart. For an appetizer we each got a cup of their creamy, buttery, thick and absolutely delicious clam chowder! My daughter got the baha burger. She really liked it. The fries were crisp with a nice spice. I had a stuffed quohog, this was served hot with butter and lemon. This was so good. I had the garlic parmesan chicken wings. These were crispy, juicy on the inside, and the flavors were delicious! Some of the best I've had. The entire time the staff was attentive and friendly. Definitely worth checking out!“

“I'll admit it -- we are those people. The ones who weren't going to go out on Valentine's Day until we decided we were. And it turns out we weren't the only ones. The place is frequented by regulars for sure with a bar on one side and a slightly more formal sit down dining room on the other. When we arrived we waited for about 10 minutes and were seated at a high top near the bar area. During this time another couple got frustrated with the single waitress to be seen after she dropped off some food to them. This couple was not empathetic at all and then expressed that to the waitress in a condescending tone on what was probably one of the busiest nights there. The same woman was our waitress and it was clear she was running around from dining room to bar room without a single moment to catch her breath. She did great! Obviously the kitchen was swamped too but we knew to adjust our expectations accordingly for timing. Food was delicious, incredible value. Calamari was a generous portion and could definitely be a small family appetizer on its own. My husband commented that you will not find a steak for less than $35 in the area and I think this one was $25 or so? Truffle fries were excellent. I got the bolognese and it was comforting and a big portion. We'll definitely come back on a less busy night but overall it was a good experience!“

Poke nachos and ahi tuna stack were most delicious out of everything we ordered. if you are a fan of raw tuna and avocado, then this is for you. Truffle fries were great as well. The rest of the food was good too. Service was good considering they were very busy on a Sunday. They got us a table right away. Ambiance is lacking, there isn't much in terms of decor, it's very noisy , but we didn't mind because it is a very casual place and the food was tasty.“

“The selection looks vast.I came in for a cup of tea. I am not able to walk at present, not without the help of a rolling walker and a lot of sitting down.There is no tea menu. I had to roll over to the tea and then back to the counter to say and pay for what I wanted.Then, the tea was completely “do it yourself.”It was hard to stand and find all the pieces for the cup, which burned my hand when it was handed to me, and I thus spilled some.I didn’t see the mug protector, nor was one put on for me, and I struggled to find the lids (a dispenser far to the end of the counter).It isn’t a bad idea, but the layout spanned the whole table and the cup pieces were not all in one spot.I was clearly struggling and wished one of the six or seven employees standing around talking had offered to open a door even (they were a bit of a hassle to get in and out of, and there are two coming in).If I had been ambulatory, the tea making process would have been mildly annoying. Given the pain and dysfunction I’m currently in, and the lack of help, though I kept asking for this or that, was frustrating.In my picture I show about a quarter of the tea bar. The cup hand protectors and lids should be RIGHT HERE (the carrier cases are) but the covers are halfway down the table, and the lids are on the opposite side of the long counter. I got it with a side of zucchini and summer squash - which were cooked perfectly; neither mushy nor undercooked - and melt-in-your-mouth buttery mashed potatoes.
