I love the elm st taproom. The servers are friendly and make you feel at home and they always have something fun going on. They have a mug club where you have to drink all 90 of their beers to become a member. 40 taps and 50 cans. Download their app! There is a limit to 5 beers a day and make sure to ask your sever or bartender to "check off" the drinks you had that night so it can be reflected in the app. Once all the beers are checked off the app with give you your mug number and you will get your own personal mug to hang on the wall. You also get 22oz pours in your mug for only a dollar more than the menu price. There is also a mug club party every year just for members with free drinks! Join the mug club and I'll see you there next year! Elm st is usually loud later in the night even on weekends days. Mondays tend to be the quietest night I've been there. Would definitely recommend stopping in for brunch their brunch crunch wrap is something I dream about!

Came in because I had a gift card and hadn't eaten here before. I must say the service was alright. Even sitting at the bar the tenders seemed to be off in the clouds. Anyway the apps we got were good but the thing that got me in the end was the chicken sandwich which was ridiculous because the ratio of the sandwich for what it cost, which was $18 BTW. I dunno man, it should just have been so much bigger and better.

The beer selection is great and the service is good, but the food is just average. If you are looking for some apps and beer to watch a game, then this place is perfect (and the fried pickles will blow your mind). However if you are looking for a really great meal then there are better options in the area.
I think they need to clean the taps. I ordered a beer and it tasted like metal. I sent it back and ordered a different beer and same thing, tasted like metal. Staff is friendly and food seems good. And the beer selection is great! But, they taste like metal.

What a terrific spot! Our drinks were outstanding and beautifully presented. The food was terrific, our server was attentive without being a pest. It was a perfect pre-show dinner.

My two stars go to the atmosphere and the drink selection. Other than that, this place was a disappointment. Let’s start with the $14 “shareable” potato skins. I’m not sure how you share this for the table when it’s just one potato, cut in half on a big plate. Next, the service was very odd. We had one server take our order, another server try to take our order again, and then a third server who delivered the food and took care of the rest. The music selection was a choice. I love Adele, but her music definitely doesn’t match the vibe. The food was just ok. The smash burger was nothing special and the fries tasted kind of stale. I’d come here for drinks with friends, but you can find a better meal elsewhere in Davis.
