My husband and I lived in Kyoto for a few years and this ramen brought back the flavors of home! どうもありがとうございます ! ! !Dietary restrictions: they have gluten free noodles and the texture of them is wonderful!

Terrible service and bad food. The restaurant had 8 empty seats but it took the waitress 15 minutes to take our order and to seat us. I ordered the Paitan ramen and it tasted like dish soap. Maybe they didn’t clean the bowl thoroughly.

Hits the spot. If you are looking for chicken based ramen then Tsurumen is a place to be! Broth is light yet fyll of flavor with bouncy noodles.Very quick service type, and still someone comes to serve the ramen and clean the table. Be warned given its location it is difficult to find parking. I suggest taking an Uber.

It's pretty mid level Ramen with higher then average prices. Felt like an awkward environment as well.

Broth is really great, but not my favorite in the area and at $21 per bowl post tip, it needed to be. Pork slices are paper thin and the bowl is slightly smaller than average size. Their great but simple broth is not enough to justify the price premium compared to other shops in the area.

A place that keeps you coming back for more. Always coming up with fresh new specials but also just crushing the classics. Everything is made in house and the quality definitely shows. Cambridge is blessed with two amazing ramen shops at different ends of the spectrum that compliment each other perfectly.

Tsurumen’s ramen has the best broth I’ve ever had. Simple ingredients but elegant. As a ramen lover, broth is the soul of ramen and Tsurumen got the soul.
Great ramen, absolutely loved the delicious texture. The broth was also fantastic. I was hoping for a little more bite in the cha shu, but it was very tender nevertheless.

Humble no-frills hole in the wall in Davis. I wanted it to be good so I would have a much closer ramen place than Santouka Back Bay commute to when the ramen craving hits, but.. the style of the noodles weren't my thing. For an average of a $17 bowl, the portions you get are very sparing for the price-- two pieces of thin pork, one and a half scoop of noodles, and broth that was honestly the saving grace. Bottled soda was warm and flat, and felt old and syrupy.Service was warm and amicable, no improvements needed there at all. And I don't need candle lit tables, and was in fact happy there was imported black pepper and self-serve stations for water, napkins, and chopsticks. You eat and go.I left the restaurant a little painfully aware of the money I could've saved by not going, had I known the food would be like that. But everyone else there was eating happily, quietly, and respectfully. That, I did like.

The most I’ve ever paid for a mediocre bowl of ramen.

This is a must try ramen spot in the greater Boston area with undeniable quality. The price of a bowl is marginally pricier than other ramen shops in the area when you add the standard fixings but any doubts regarding valve left my body with my first sip of the broth. Everything was perfectly cooked and a real treat to the palate. The menu is shorter so I can’t wait to get to all the items!
