The food has gone downhill in the past month+ and the prices have increased considerably. Soups are no longer homemade. No longer takes credit cards since the new owner took over. The bathrooms have a very bad septic-like odor that they try to disguise with fragrant sprays. The friendly waitstaff of the past couple of years are no longer working there....

Had lunch there today. It was delicious. Had gotten take out before but never been in. Staff was friendly, had a turkey club and it was fresh and tasty. I will definitely be back. Good local spot that won’t break the bank.

Pete's was our go to place but the dinner. Our experience we've had over the last couple of months has been most disappointing. When they first opened up we enjoyed a delicious prime rib and meatloaf dinner a great meal, generous portions a great value. Last couple of times, the food was disappointing. The French onion soup, one of my favorites, shrunk in size and I found an inedible piece at the bottom of the bread. It was a hard disk that was difficult to break with my fingers. I addressed this with our server and the response from the kitchen was "oh well". Should have saved it for the Board of Health. Service is good but food portions, presentation and most of all flavor and freshness are lacking. Off to find a new favorite. This one is off the list.

Had the worst meal at this restaurant. My prime rib was raw . Sent it back and it was no better. By that time the side dishes were cold. Strawberry shortcake was horrible. After having my meal ruined there was no compensation on the bill. The waitress saw that I did not eat my meal but offered nothing in terms of apology or compensation. They could have at the very least taken the horrible dessert off the bill. Will never go back. Horrible food and customer service. They should have never served a raw piece of prime rib!!!

A great place to watch some sports and have a nice hearty meal! Everything we ordered was great! Delicious food, good portions and great service! The chicken cheese quesadilla was my favorite! The bbq pulled pork nachos were very tasty too!

Best restaurant we’ve been to in years. We were both so impressed. The service was the best I’ve ever had. The prime rib was better than they described and cooked to perfection. An all 5 star. We goggled places to eat and were close by so we decided to stop in. It's a local place with a wonderful atmosphere, clean and enjoyable. Our waitress was great and over all a wonderful experience.

Lunch with my favorite sister! Shared the stuffed mushrooms which were fantastic. Stuffing was super flavorful and we thoroughly enjoyed them. Ordered the meatloaf after being assured that it was excellent especially on a cool rainy day and it was the right choice. Three thick, juicy slices with a great brown gravy that enhanced the mashed potatoes as well! Sister ordered the ribs and was very happy with the choice. Both of us took the leftovers, not something we generally do, and warmed them up for dinner! Thanks to our personable waitress Mo C. she definitely helped us make great choices. One star missing as the slice of cheesecake we shared was a bit gritty. Recommend Pete's for your next Cape lunch!

We chose it because it was the closest restaurant on the way and we were hungry and very tired. I didn't even look at the ratings. So, it was a blind choice and we didn't know what to expect.It was absolutely GREAT! The food was delicious! The athmosphere was relaxing and comfortable.
